I'd be fine with Blackwall being close to his Calling, but I'm currently worried that he's going to be right at the brink of no return.
I was hoping he'd have a few years left in him, but for some reason this new image of him makes me think he has a few months. At most.
It's his eyes and the skin on his cheeks that make me think this. To me those marks on his face don't look like the blood splatter on the rest of his armor. Hopefully it is just blood splatter.

I've predicted a "really close to the Calling" plot-line since I saw him. As interesting as that would be, it doesn't bode well for him being a romance option, unfortunately. They could really pull some good emotion out of that kind of plot-line, though, so I'm kind of excited about it if it's true!
