Two more to go, with an extra something to be posted with the last page.

In the next strip, the story turns to horror as the dwarf Inquisitor's eyes are devoured by the schleets.

Already people does not like him for being Alistair 2.0 on the idealism side. I don't care. That only means more beardy for me :-)

@Aimo *gasp* now we've seen your beardy and dwarf's cheeks :-)

And the cutesie-wootsie-sexy mood takes a sudden 90 degree turn D:

Also, I still don't know what the hell schleets are, 5 years on.

I would think there's a huge difference between Alistair's new recruit idealistic naivete and Blackwall's steadfast idealism despite being a veteran warden; I'm sure he's seen his share of the good and bad when it comes to the order (as opposed to Alistair's PEACE OUT mic-drop dick move if you recruit Loghain...and this is coming from someone who ADORES Ali k, keep those knives sheathed now), and if he's still not jaded...it speaks to the strength of his convictions.

Ah well, their loss. More comfy space for us in the Moar Beardy Corner :) *brings cushions and cookies*

And yes, Cheeks Ahoy indeed :D

Holy sugar-glazed donuts, dat Blackwall/Iron Bull sketch OwO

I don't speak for others, but personally I am surprised at the accelerated pace of how invested I am now in the possibility of Blackwall as LI *looks at her tumblr and deviantart, hangs head in shame*, even more since the character profile was released (noble-hearted warrior bears are my weakness). Once it clicks, I can't back out of aiming to #ScaleTheWall, so hopefully it'll be a reality in the actual game.

Since fiveforchaos's last update on what I've been working on, two more wild pages have appeared! Under spoiler cut because one of it is NSFW-ish for booty:

Iron Bull/Blackwall smut AND two new Aimo comics! Ah I don't believe it, all these brilliant artists producing such wonderful fanart of my favorite characters! I'm getting spoiled rotten!

I'd dare say this comic is your most adorable yet. I've read through it 3 times now and I can't stop smiling. I'm such a sucker for quirky domestic situations.

Really? A lot of Alistair's character and idealism came from a healthy dose of naivete. That doesn't really suit Blackwall. I'd say he's a closer match to Wynn if we're comparing him to DA:O companions. They've both been around the block a few times, and have both stuck to their core values of self-sacrifice and compassion for the weak. Seeing as how Wynn was one of my favorite characters from DA:O I hope I'm correct in my assessment.

Heh, Alistair 2.0... I must confess, I don't like Alistair. Forgive me, Aimo. :) You can like or hate Alistair, but main problem, I just can't respect him. However cute or funny someone is, respect and trust still comes first. It's always "Me, me, me..." He runs off from every responsibility and every trouble. Runs of from being a Templar, runs of from being a Warden, runs off from being a King (even in comics). He dumps all responsibility on you after Ostagar. He doesn't tell you about being a king's son. And how gleefully he kills Loghain... it just felt wrong to me. Add in juvenile behavior and Alistair was my least favourite companion in DAO.

So I hope Blackwall is nothing like Alistair. I just can't imagine him going: "It's not my fight anymore, let the main Big Bad eat you."

I keep hearing this song and after Blackwall's reveal, this is his theme in my mind:

Somebody's gotta make one of those "character themes" vids once all the characters are officially revealed. They're one of my guilty pleasures. Maybe I'll make one, and use this for Blackwall.

I'm not saying Blackwall is that old, but I can hear him singing this, with the same weight of years that Johnny did.

I'm not sure if I sure apologize or tell you that at least it's not a crappy song to have stuck in your head.

I love Alistair and I do support his idealistic point of view

Sure, listening about Duncan for numerous dialogues in a row could get a bit annoying

But generally I'm really happy Blackwall is just as a good hearted person

Given his character profile, and the famous picture of him getting away from the gallows, I wonder if he tried to help some poor souls back then, that put him at odds with the authorities and the Wardens chose to leave him to die instead of backing him up.

Though the profile page seems to indicate he was still with the wardens when we first meet him.

Maybe He joins the Inquisition as a warden first and during the middle of the game he leaves the wardens to fully become a member of the Inquisition, while in his mind he's still fulfilling the promise of what he thinks a warden Should be.

So all in all, I'm guessing the Gallows scene doesn't happen when we first meet him but later on in the story.(IF it happens at all)

That could be too, yeah. Well, my bet is on the gallows scene happening beforehand. The profile says that we find him when we're trying to contact the Grey Wardens, but he's travelling on his own. Maybe he hadn't left the Wardens yet, but after their "betrayal" he felt he hadn't a purpose in life. Then comes the Inquisitor.

"Since it seems you aren't satisfied with your current job, would you want to work for the Inquisition?"

"And what is the Inquisition's job exactly?"

"We kill demons!"

"Meh"

"We kill dragons!"

"Been there, done that"

"Hm... we help people?"

"I'M SOLD!"

What a morbid thought....but you know what I mean

Thanks! These comics are my way of coping with the wait, and I love tackling silly or mundane subject matters as we won't get to see much of them in-game (having romance content, for example, sharing the stage with combat, plot, exploration etc etc). So might as well have fun with the characters in this medium! That it is enjoyed by others is a bonus for me ;)

Ok, taking a break from Blackwall/Cadash for a bit and shifting to Blackwall & Friends (this one with my Male Inquisitor Cadash):

Great, I'm planning Mister Cadash too! Perhaps I'll use yours as inspiration, because my CC skills are nonexistant. (Or maybe there will be codes, then I'm saved).
