Thorin Oakenshield is probably a little preoccupied being the star of a Hollywood Blockbuster, but the guy who plays Dwalin also has a wonderful voice, probably isn't as preoccupied, and has voice acted for Bioware before.
Dwalin is already Arl Eamon Guerrin of Redcliff....
They changed Anders and Isabela voice actors because their shared them with other important characters (Cullen and Anora to be precise). We won't get a Dwalin Blackwall.

Hmmm
Spoiler
...Sigh, for years it has been my eternal shame that I barely care for only about 20% of all the art put out by probably my favorite DA fan artist (who is also a fellow Malaysian) cause I am a Human only RP (seriously, I lose interest in every Elf or Dwarven PC in every RPG, since the days of BG even, barely 2 hours into any game).
Then I see art like this and I hate myself, bloody hell.

Was that really their reason? But fem!Inquisitor is going to be voiced by an actress who's played some pretty important roles as well, and Fenris, as far as I can tell, was pretty much every other NPC in Dragon Age:Origins. Besides, it's not like anyone would really recognize him as Arl Eamon, he was doing his best old and wizened impression for that role. He sounds completely different as Dwalin, or even talking normally.
(Or we could get the guy who plays Sir Davos, that would also be pretty awesome).
I still would have rather they kept Greg Ellis for Anders and given someone else to Cullen.
Yeah, seems kind of random, seeing as how Anders was the bigger character, you'd think they'd give him greater priority. But I'm sure Greg Ellis is appreciating the switch now, he's been rather enjoying the attention the Cullenites have been giving him it seems. And unless Cullen manages to find a bigger chantry to blow up, I'm certain he'll find himself suffering from less fan backlash as well.

Bit of an ironic thing to say, don't you think? Considering the thread you're in.

He's just impersonating the Grey Warden Blackwall; he's actually just a soldier who looked a bit like him.

Apparently Cullen's developed into quite the badass since DA:O (and perhaps even DA:II). I was never that big on his character but the more I hear, the more intrigued I become. Garrus needed some good trauma to dislodge the stick up his ass (I loved Garrus in ME1, but he really did have a fairly large one) maybe Kirkwall and the explosion has been enough for Cullen to get rid of his. Or Blackwall could decide that the young Knight Captain needs to be shown that he's actually allowed to have fun once and awhile before the stress of the job becomes too much for him. I can see Blackwall being one of those "sometimes you just need a good hard drink with some friends" sort of guys.

Why does it look like he gets younger in each game? I feel like I'm going to start up the game one day and he'll be five years old.

Are you kidding? Cullen looks like he's in his early forties, at least. I think getting rid of the ramen noodle hair has made him look more attractive, but not younger.

The Blackwall thread slipped to page 2??? That will not do!

With Blackwall’s uncanny resemblance to Orlesian French rugby player Sebastien Chabal, it was only a matter of time before this crackcomic was born…
Is this some sort of happy coincidence or are you just that good?
Nonetheless this is exactly how it should go down. Fancy romantic dinner, with a burping contest. Perfect for the secret romantic who's spent most of his life among ill-mannered soldiers.
Haha, nah, I just have a stack of comic ideas in the backburner as I don't have the time to draw them all in one go. Originally this idea was set in a campfire among the troops, but it didn't 'click' so I shelved it. It just so happen that it fits perfectly with mlgumm's musings ![]()

Liam Cunnigham? He'd be awesome!
Also, guys:

Sebastian Malory's description from the GameInformer coverage does fit with what we know of Blackwall.

It's funny. Everytime I hear the voiceover for The Order trailer on Youtube, I think it's the Inquisition trailer.

I'd be shocked if The Order looked like that on release. Pleased beyond belief, but still shocked.

Then there's this trailer, which not only reminds me of that fresco-art opening sequence of DAO, but it also totally makes The Order sound like the Grey Wardens. Standing vigilant against Ancient Evil ? Check. Drinking weird-ass poison blood to fight said Ancient Evil? Check. Corrupted tainted Humans turning into monsters? Check. Vaguely similar motto (We shall stand, we shall prevail)? Check. Not that Dragon Age is the only game/fictional world to feature these things though. It isn't even the first to do so.
I can see all the cross-over fanfics already, once that game is released.
I'd be shocked if The Order looked like that on release. Pleased beyond belief, but still shocked.
There has been rumors of a graphics downgrade after their E3 stage demo. Though livestream isn't the best quality to judge the graphics by.
Sadly, I won't be able to play this game though as I don't own a console. I'll probably follow it via videos and whatnot.
