Why aren't there more alopecic NPC'S? Can Inquisitor be alopecic?

And I mean genetic alopecia, not just shaved heads.

I feel there's a lack of distinctive haircuts either in the CC and in NPC's in general. Myself being a bald man, I feel I can't represent my avatar with enough fidelity. Baldness is a problem that affects a significative percentage of grown up male gamers.

Also If I want to portrait my Inquisitor as a 30-40 year old battle worn man instead of the default teenager in his early 20's, I feel the CC gives me less options. The elderly looks are not very good too, as it looks weird to see a faux grandpa kickin ass in armor with a muscular body. (It's like Johnny Knoxville dressed as bad grandpa with a sword), so they don't quite cut it for me.

Also, there aren't many androgenetic alopecic companions. If I must play  40 year old warrior full of obligations and pressure to fulfill his duties, I must get bald. Like IRL.

I have no problem with this. Though I hope they add as many options to the CC as they can possibly fit in. I'd like a High & Tight hair style preferably as that's been my haircut for almost 15 years now.

According to Sprint Review Day tweets it sounds like the head morph/character creator are much improved which hopefully means lots of customisation options for our PC. I just want more hairstyles full stop, so baldness falls into that spectrum. But after the hate poor BEM (Bald elf guy) is getting BW may end up changing such aesthetics. Who knows. I certainly won't say no to more choice!   :wizard:

I was hoping to have a dwarf Inquistor with a receding hairline so I support this initiative.

As a baldy myself, I approve of this. I do draw the line at adding neckbeards, though. There is such a thing as too much realism.

As long as BioWare doesn't put a thousand variations of receding hairline/bald/whatever in the CC, and like one with full hair then I am all for more options. DA2's CC suffered from a million variations of friar tuck or whatever it's called and like one good haircut, that was on default Hawke.

I believe he is requesting BETTER bald(ing) hairstyles for character creation.

That would be nice!

It would also be nice if you could create a character with some facial asymmetry. Mass effect had the option of giving a female Shepard asymmetrical eyebrows, at least. I'm not sure if the same was possible for male Shep.

it won't be in DAI. Mike or Mark stated that the PC will have an indefinite age between 19-35.

Can't see anything wrong with this. More options for the CC are always welcomed.

My roommate in college was bald before he turned 21.  It varies from person to person.  Someone the Warden or Hawke or Shepard's age could easily have started losing their hair, or completely lost it, by their canonical ages.  So too could the Inquisitor in the range given.

I definitely support more realistic bald and balding hair options for character creation in DA:I, for both male and female characters! I have alopecia areata and lost most of my hair a while back, so these days, I just keep my head shaved and wear a wig. :)

There were plenty of balding hairstyles in the previous games. Too many in fact.

With Frostbites capabilities i can definitely see this in the game but keep in mind, the inquisitor is older than 20 and younger than 40.

i see the biased on this fourm because if aizen would have made a thread like this u all would hav called him a troll and deraild his thread

Lets not start issues for no reason

Good. I can actually believably make my protag look slightly less whelp-ish now.
