The Character Creator (CC) in Dragon Age 2 was very disappointing.

I would like to interject some desires about the new CC. Very important. new light and discreet light effects and not a black background, very unfavorably with black hair

basically, I want in Dragon Age Inquisition a smart version of the CaS (Create a Sim). This kind of face creation is great and I would like to spend lot of time at Character creation. In Dragon Age 2 it was terrible. o.O I want more detailed facial structures which can be adapted. more beards, more hair creations, more face paintings

I want to use any colors. (catchword: Create a Style Mode)

If you thought the DA2 CC was terrible, I can only imagine what you'd think of Origins'.

Origins CC is great and easy to use. Plus with all the texture and color mods...It is wonderful! DA2 had the worse sliders I ever saw. I want sliders that stop on every feature, not one that is so hard to control you miss half the settings.

Ugh, Origins had a horrible CC. I'm usually really good at making characters, but my Wardens almost always came out looking like potatoes in that game.

Something more akin to the Sims would fix the issues I had with the DA games' CCs. Always hated not being able to change mouth shape, eye tilt, etc.

Origins and DAII both had their positives and negatives. Origins is great on the PC with mods. However, I originally had the game (and DAII) for the Xbox360 (didn't have a computer at the time that could run the game), and I would have to somewhat agree that the CC in the vanilla 360 import wasn't terribly great. It was a little better in DAII, but not much. Once getting the games for the PC though, both games + mods have vastly improved the CC's.

Having experienced the character creator in Dragon's Dogma (see avatar for example), and looked at YT vids of SR4, it would be great if we could get something more akin to those. Since I have no doubt that CC's are resource hogs, I don't expect the level of those two games (in the vanilla version that is), but I do hope they are able to expand and improve upon what they have already given us in the past.

Fingers crossed. ;)
