Naleena’s reaction to Morgan reminded him that it was hard to tell a good ruse from an actual reaction.  He wasn’t going to be able to avoid her questions forever, but he needed time to assess Androkan, for his own sake let alone The Shadow Broker.  Was Deidrus the same as when Morgan had worked with him on Noveria?

Nobody seemed to have wanted to do the dirty work of removing bodies, so Morgan got his mind off difficulties by getting to it.  The first corpse he came across was the batarian he shot.  Morgan eyed a henchman of Aria’s who looked like he was about the same size.

“Bray…”

Aria’s bodyguard peered over.  Disgusted, he snorted, “What?  You think I’m playing along?”

“You certainly are!”  Aria’s voice cracked like a whip.  “And help get rid of the other bodies.  We don’t need cadavers in plain sight.  You, too, Krath.”

Bray grumbled, Krath scowled, but both assisted, making the task go much faster.  Bray went the extra step of changing into the Suns's armor.  As Morgan removed the dead, he picked up a few loose credits, and searched for pieces of armor he could swap out with his suit.  It wasn’t perfect, but with an adjustment or two, he got himself a helmet, and a few choice replacement plates with the proper logo.  It didn’t have to be perfect; this was a merc group after all.

Turian shuttles began arriving as Morgan came across the last Blue Suns body.  It was rocket launcher merc he had killed.  Morgan sighed, feeling like a scavenger.  The rocket merc’s helmet looked in good shape and a possible fit for ‘Silver,’ though he wasn’t sure exactly what her plan of disguise was.  Morgan unfastened the helmet and brought it over to the black and yellow clad woman, passing the seven foot white armored giant on the way.

“Ms. Stone…,’ Morgan started as he offered the helmet, ‘It was my idea so I should put myself up with the rest of you. And, if you don’t mind me saying so, while I know you’re getting some heat for your look…Eclipse mercs tend to wear yellow, too.”  He smirked slightly, though with his rough face, it didn’t do much to offset his image.  “Besides, maybe when it comes to putting up a front, you’re the perfect person for the job.”  Morgan lost his smirk as he wasn’t certain how his words would land.

“That’s a compliment in my line of work,” Morgan clarified.

Vayne was checking his omnibows guidance system when he saw Naleena approaching, raising a brow as the omnitool aligned its lasers together he aimed at the ceiling, a display on top showing him where his shots might go.

"Something on your mind, Spectre?" He asked as Naleena stopped in front of him, a small bit of growling as he asked. He closed his omnitool. Vayne had his suspicion, and he was sure she knew he did as well. He looked her in the eye, curious what she had to say next.

Naleena took a breath and spoke. "Since we are going into battle and may die, I want to clear the air. I apologize for deceiving you about my status. I felt it was necessary at the time. I was acting on Androkan's behalf, however. Should we survive, even though I am not a Spectre, the promise I made you regarding post mission stands. I have your back."

Vayne stayed silent as she spoke, his face betraying nothing as she gave her case. He closed his eye with a sigh, giving a small nod before he spoke again. "First off, thanks for coming and leveling with me. Not a lot of folks would if they thought they could get away with it..." he said as he opened his eye once more, a lot of age evident in his orange orb as he regarded the asari. "But I'd like to make something clear as well. I've been alive for more then 5 centuries... I've been used, and I've used others... and I know enough to tell when I had things kept from me." He said as he walked over slowly, leaning a bit down to be eye level with the Asari, his face deathly serious.

"This doesn't change things, I'm still going to fight the collectors, and I'll still make sure I help watch your men's back. But I'm keeping an eye out now, and if I find out there's anything up with this mission, anything more then stopping these humans from disappearing that I'm not brought up on... we'll be having another of these chats." He said as he stood straight once more, looking from Naleena to Deidrus and back, "You, me, and the Spectre in charge."

"Fair enough," Naleena maintained her eye contact. She didn't flinch. There was a hardness evident in her eyes. Vayne knew the look. "I also want to make something clear. I've been around for going on four centuries. I too have been used by people, have used people, and I've killed a lot. I've kept nothing else from you. I've no quarrel with you. Let's keep it that way. Good hunting." She turned and walked away casually.

When the shuttles landed there were just under thirty Turians arranging themselves. Eighteen of them were in Armiger gear, Raptor rifles and Mattocks on their back as they readied themselves for combat, their minds locked into what the next while should look like. The other Eleven were fingering their Phaestons and carnifexes as they tried to loosen up a bit to fit the Blue Sun's image more.

The last Turian to round out the thirty was Eteon, her normally red angular armor painted a deep blue to match the others. She was walking over to Deidrus who was busy looking over the men that were here. There would be an odd proportion of Turians here but ingrained Turian instincts told him that when it came to conflict have overwhelming force at your back. The Armigers would be out of sight until the time to strike was right, some Ghost units outfitted with cloaking to remain near while Havoc units would intervene for a shock attack if need be. Two had outfitted themselves with Saboteur gear, something which would be useful should things go FUBAR and they need to effectively nuke the dock. He was hopeful that wouldn't happen.

"Sir, all units have arrived. Only a couple of individuals are still readying up." Eteon hated the formal language but used it anyways, if only for the sake of being able to ignore a disapproving glare from behind the visor. Chain of command and all that crap. "Most are still interested in what exactly is going on. Some words about Collectors is about it."

"Allegedly." Though honestly, hopefully not. "Aria and Vayne have both come into contact with them before so they would know more about their appearances and abilities. Rumors say that they are like Galshu, scales and wings... Or rachni in a way. But those are Terminus myths and could be inaccurate."

Aria popped the copy of the audio from the data disk Naleena had given her into her omni-tool and was listening to it privately while Naleena was speaking with the Krogan. She had trusted Naleena thusfar about the intel but thought it might be a good idea to check it anyway. When Naleena returned to her, she patted her on the shoulder and returned the disk.

"I recognized the noise at the end, and the voices. Be ready. They usually bring a Praetorian with them, and they're a b*tch," Aria said.

"What's a Praetorian?"

"It's the big ugly thing. You'll know it when you see it."

"Biotic combos and AP rounds?" Naleena asked.

"You read my mind," Aria said, "We'd better find a hiding place. We don't want to be seen."

"Sir?" The three group leaders under Deidrus approached the Spectre once he was finished speaking to Eteon. "Course of action?"

Deidrus paused to think of what needed to happen before nodding to himself. "We have a couple hundred humans in stasis at the end of this dock that the Suns were going to transport to a group of Collectors, a reclusive and somewhat mythical race that has been operating out of the Terminus for as long as anyone remembers. The group posing as Suns members are going to fake the deal when the Collectors first arrive so we can get an idea of numbers and what they might have in terms of ordinance. Eteon will fake running the operation and as she is showing whoever is in charge of whatever pickup group is coming I need the rest of you to prepare for a standoff. Patrol the crates as if you're looking for rats to give yourself cover so that when the trigger is pulled you are out of direct fire."

He took a breath before motioning to the sub-leader of the Armigers. "Teams one and half-two are going to take up suppression and sniping positions along the walkways that make up prime right, with north being the fall dock wall, as well as the walkways which cross overhead. Ghosts units will provide continued sniping support while Havoc units start providing closer support for people in the direct line of fire. Don't be stingy with stimpacks should you be taking too much fire, you're better alive and accidentally wasting a pack than dead and saving one to be salvaged from your corpse."

"I'm told that the Collectors may be able to fly, should they start putting pressure on units tanking from the ground I'm going to need the Havocs to relocate to the lowest tiers of platforms so that they can provide intervention. Should things go FUBAR I'm going to need us to play Predator and have a shock-strip set up with our ghost units to keep the Collectors pinned."

Jess stood up from the grisely task of prying the dead Sun out of her armour and stood with her hands on her hips as she gave the man in front of her the once over.

She'd heard him called Morgan, and right now he was looking slightly uncertain compared to how he had approached her in the beginning. Jess raised her eyebrows and blew out some air. "Well now.....". She began looking at him impassively before her face split into a grin. "...... Ain't you a darling. Hold the dead weight down by the legs luv. I need to yank this armour off the body". She made to turn but abruptly swung back towards him. "And it's Captain Stone luv. I'm a little far apart from her but I run my own ship when I'm not temping for Spectre's without a cause.....". She raised her voice and called out over his shoulder. ".....Or homesick Asari trying to dress us up as a blue chorus of Can-Can Line Dancers"!

Returning her gaze to Morgan she gave him a frank look. "But it's otherwise Jess luv. Now help a girl out and be quick...... and I'll let you join in throwing paint at my bodyguard".

Morgan got down and held the legs of the Blue Suns merc while Stone unceremoniously pried off the armor. The last phrase he had ever been called was 'darling'. Morgan chalked it up to Stone's personality, and admittedly a disarming approach had its benefits. Still, there were too many uncertainties with what was about to happen, with both the Collectors and his interview of Androkan for Morgan to get comfortable with anyone. Besides, Morgan could never match an amicable outward appearance. Instead, he went with his own strong suit, being direct.

"Don't you think the business prospects are better with Aria or someone else on Omega than a Spectre?" Morgan was generally curious why the captain of a vessel would be without either her crew or her ship. Once the body was removed of its armor, Morgan picked it up roughly. He went to a large utility crate only a meter or two away and kicked off the top. There were some tools inside, but enough space for the corpse. Morgan dropped it in, pulled the top on the crate closed, and brushed himself off without too much care. "Sorry," Morgan commented as he looked down and saw a small smear of blood left behind on his abdomen plate, "Pretending to be a merc always worked better for me if I looked like an *ssh*le who didn't care about anything but money."

Jess examined the armour she had appropriated before and tossed away the helmet that had a large hole where the mercs brains had been turned to jelly.

"Businesswise, if I had sense, I'd be off making credits with a daily grind of shifting cargo luv. But what hits the galaxy hits my profits. What hit's my profit's hits my ship. From ship to the crew, to the crew that comes down to me. And call me paranoid luv. But I don't much fancy having my crew around when Spectre's are prowling. their kind'll go to any length to do what it is they do. And if that means ruining a life or two...... well, I'm sure the math seems like a no brainer. For the two who got screwed over.....". Jess stopped suddenly. Looking up and seeing no one but Morgan nearby she looked over.

"Look luv. Aria's screwed me and mine in the past. The Spectre? I know the type enough to know to be cautious. Even when they try to put you over a barrel. But my own business relies on colonies that these collector types are destroying. So my interest is purely in and of myself". She made a fist and bumped Morgan in the shoulder. "Doesn't mean I can't enjoy the ride though. Even if the best options are the one's I'd rather not take. Captains lot luv. We do what we have to. To get the job done".

"Now grab a tool and help me into this hunk of rubbish. I swear.... My toaster's got more setting's than this piece of tin".

Together with Morgan Jess stripped out of her striped armour and with Morgan holding the bulky sections in place, got it fixed on. They were done when Anika reappeared with two buckets in each hand. She took one look at Jess.

"You look terrible".

Jess smirked as she saw the dried blue paint that dribbled over the sides of the cans. "Your about to know the feeling luv".

Deidrus approached Naleena and Aria as his Armiger Turians began climbing their way up the side of the wall with their rocket-assisted armor, the normally quiet sound made much more noticeable by the fact they were all using their units at once. The sound and appearance were very dissonant as all the Ghost units had cloaked for the climb to check systems, the only evidence of their movement the faint trails of smoke.

"I've briefed my men and they are going to take tiered positions on the walkways and platforms on our right at different elevations so they have a better overall covering of the area. All are armed with Marksman rifles and will be able to provide effective cover from there. Once the battle begins there is a group of Havoc soldiers which can provide shock assistance should things get heated from the ground." He reached over his shoulder to tap the Black Widow Naleena had entrusted to him. "Anything else will be determined from my scope. Assuming too many things about an enemy I have never fought before is not high on my list of mistakes to make. I will keep the two of you updated on their movements so you know where your cover is."

Naleena nodded. "Aria and I will stay close. We'll be rolling in odd movements to make it difficult for the enemy to lock. I know Turians are used to more straight up fighting."

"Be ready for anything. Although I've fought Collectors before, this doesn't feel the same. The Collectors usually deal in information and samples. Nothing like this. Those pods give me the creeps." Aria said, "I'm expecting one maybe two Praetorians. They're a b*tch to take down. If I give the word, have your team focus fire on them, is that understood?"

Deidrus nodded."I'll be sure to relay the information to my units." Deidrus affirmed, nodding his head. "Eteon, a member of my crew, can work directly with the Collectors until we are certain of their numbers. I chose her because she is one of those individuals who finds it easy to lie their way through fire. The ruse won't hold for long but she should be able to sustain it until we know what the numbers are like."

He nodded his head back over his shoulder at the aforementioned woman who was currently keeping her eyes closed in concentration as she ran through what she knew of the Suns in her head. She had experience negotiating with them as all 'special ambassadors' within the Hierarchy did, it did not make things much nicer for her. She opened her eyes and rolled her shoulders before turning to look directly at Deidrus and nodding that she was ready.

"Who's mark should we begin on?" Deidrus asked as he turned back to them. He would have the better vantage point if the two Asari had to remain hidden, Eteon or Bray would know exactly when the ruse was up... There were options there.

"Eteon is going to be in the thick of it. She'll have the best idea. Let her be option number one," Naleena said and she caught a glare from Aria, "Bray can watch for any odd movement from the others from his position, and should be her backup. Unless Aria has a better idea."

"I've never met Eteon. If she is as good as you say she is, Androkan, then yes, she should be the first option," Aria agreed, "Otherwise I'd have gone with Bray."

"Bottoms up luv"! Jess crowed as she upended a tin of blue paint all over Anika who was now standing inside of another crate Morgan had opened for them. Turning to Morgan she called out. "Got a mop luv? We need something to spread this out"!

The fist in Morgan's shoulder had a peculiar feel, but Morgan couldn't place exactly what. While he helped the Captain with her armor, he noticed she was unabashed.  When she was done, Stone looked the part, and Morgan even recommended an extra few smears for good measure.  He looked the Captain in her eyes of mismatched colors, and was about to ask her if she thought Androkan was the kind of Spectre that would ruin a life or two to get his job done.  Morgan wanted badly to understand if Deidrus had changed at all, and if the assignment The Shadow Broker had given him was really unwarranted.  But then the tall, white armored bodyguard came over with two cans of blue paint.

Morgan had a hard time resisting the urge to stare, despite how much he knew looks often brought trouble.  Often a lot of it.  He broke back to business, “This is merc armor.  If it doesn’t look perfect, we’re going the right direction."  Morgan fished through another set of tools, lacking anything with a brush, but he found a flat spackling blade.  "Even better than a mop..."

Deidrus made sure that he had connection to all four groups of Turians before he himself also made his way up towards the tiers of the dock. He enjoyed it fully, one of the few things he truly got some excitement out of after all the years had come to pass. Leaping from the 'ground floor' tot he first tear with the assistance of the rockets was something he always enjoyed, along with the leap to the second one. His cloak was active so anyone simply looking would not have seen him without an incredibly sharp eye. When he got to his place on the highest tier he pulled out the black widow and hefted it in his hands before setting the front brace on the railing in front of him. He looked through the Thermal scope and was pleased that the people on the ground were still clear in the half-gloom of the docks.

"I'm in position. Roll call." Deidrus commanded through to his Turian Armigers. All eighteen of them called out their positions in sequence without any of them being out of term. His eyes were closed as he spoke to create a mental map of where each of his units were. In the corner of his Helmet's HUD he knew he could check for them but when he was focused in combat he preferred to have an idea of where they were without having to take his focus off the targets.

By the end, Morgan had spread the paint around enough that Anika's armour looked like it had been painted deliberately rather than poured on from above. Stepping out of the container she looked down at herself and made to pop her helmet when Jess stopped her. "Dry it off first luv".

Anika sighed and took off jogging around the bay. She proppeled her large frame forward faster than most would feel comfortable and in under two minutes she'd passed the point where she'd started. Under two minutes later she did it again with no sign's that she was showing any strain. Then again. And again.

Jess looked over at Morgan. "Yeah..... she's special. You picking out something blue"? She asked bending over to pickup the parts of her armour that she threw onto the lid of the container. She looked up to see Morgan staring at Anika as she ran to quick dry the paint on her armour. Jess called out. "Oh stop showing off luv! We need you dry! Pick it up"!

Anika's body tilted forward as every fall of her heavy armoured foot became a slam that rattled out in quick succession as she broke into a run.

Morgan wasn't sure which he was more amazed by...the unbelievable display of physical prowess now lapping the dock, or the immediate obedience the tall woman gave to Stone's orders.  He looked back at Captain Stone and helped pick up the pieces of armor she still had to don.  "I admit, I'm not used to this kind of...distraction.  If you don't want to tell me about Androkan, that's fine."

These people can't have been together long,  Morgan thought.  This group is a glass bottled cyclone. Despite his doubts, however, Morgan began to feel positive about their chances.

"To be honest..... This is the first time I've seen him in the flesh..... So to speak". Jess admited. "He sent a proxy. Now her! I like! She's exactly what military types don't like. Independent. Strong streak of individualism. The kind who doesn't like boundaries. Lotta my crew tick the same boxes and screwed the pooch on something in their lives and ended up in the winds. Some come to me and if all their after is a second chance their prepared to work for then I take em on....... But Androkan"? Jess shrugged.

"He hides behind a helmet, sends a young junior into a potential dangerous situation with no backup to pull her out. Eteon, the girl he sent, had four rifles on her and wasn't any the wiser. I was ready to blow the whole cargo bay if anything untoward happened. My guy's had rebreathers. She did.....n't".

Jess's voice trailed off as she looked at the large hanger doors before looking down at the floor. "Naaaah". She glibbed. "I'd rather the collector ship bails than think of popping their engine core seals".

"Regardless luv. I don't know the man and his command styles fixed in rigid Turian Hierarchal thinking. So far I've managed to snag the XO's quarter's on his ship and turned it into a lounge. Haven't had a peep of complaint..... Apart from the XO. Which reminds me. When this is over, come on round. I've got chili on the stove".

Naleena took a breath and talked to the person whom she considered her only friend in the galaxy. "What do you think our chances really are?"

"If the Turian military isn't a bunch of rookies, and that Spectre isn't green under his crest we'll survive," Aria said, "I've no doubt you and I could come out of this alive, but we'd have to sacrifice the pods. However, I need to send a message to the Collectors."

Naleena received a message from Vera over a secure channel. "Mistress, in the data you had me duplicate there was some biometric data on the occupants of the stasis pods. I thought you should know just in case it might be important to your current mission."

"Thank you. It could be useful. Hold on one minute," Naleena replied and opened a channel to Deidrus, "Who is going to be liaison with the Collectors?"

"Captain Stone will be handling that duty," Deidrus replied.

"Thank you. That's all I needed," Naleena said, "Vera, open a three way with Jess. Jess, my ship's VI, Vera, is going to upload some biometric data on the occupants of the stasis pods. She thinks it might be important."

"Are you ready Jess?" Vera asked.

"Go ahead."

"Transmitting data," Vera replied. The operation took 10 seconds.

"Got it."

"Thank you, Vera. You may close the connection," Naleena said, "Are you going to be doing anything else, Jess?"

"Well...... Omega's extranet says several places deliver food. So we could order lunch now and have it arrive after we turn out the trash. Might want to point them towards the Collie ship though luv..... I'm going to try and sneak aboard and disable it. Guns and engines, anything that might give us all a bad day if they decide the situation is worth the risk. Can't imagine anything that monster can do will be good for us."

"Vera has been analyzing what I think may be Collector tech, and she may have some insight into it. I could...."

"Vera's awefully chatty for a VI luv." Jess interrupted. "Not that I mind. but is it.....?" Jess interrupted.

"Shush, young lady! As I was going to say, I could have her assist you with the hack," Naleena said.

"Any help will do. I think everyone's feeling chipper about me just gonig off and disabling the ship. But if they pause to wonder how I'm going to disable a ship of unknown engineering and tech, on top of fighting off any crew still aboard her in time to stop them opengin fire on the bay. Not to mention I don't even know the ships layout so trying to find the vital spots could be tricky...... Well. I'm going to be hungry by days end. Fancy Chilli? I've got some cooking back on the Audron. Ration packs be damned a pirate queen should eat like a queen and your both invited to join me after!"

"Vera, open a standby connection with Jess' omni-tool. Triple tap. Three-Alpha-Mike," Naleena said, "Jess, do you have that? When you're ready for to open the connection just hit 3-A-M on your omni-tool. Vera is standing by. She'll assist you with your hack."

"Standby connection enabled," Vera said.

"Got it, Luv," Jess said, "Remember about those drinks."

Anika finished her laps and halted in front of Jess who had finished donnig her new Sun's armour. "All dry". She informed her. Her breathing as steady as if she'd taken a short walk. "What's the plan"?

Jess shrugged. "No idea luv. But I figure I'll meet a collector face to face and make it up from there".

Anika bristled. "Captain.....".

"This is bigger than just me". Jess told her. "And I'll have snipers protecting me, pulling fire. After that? I'll just improvise". Jess slipped an arm around Morgan. "And I think we've got a new partner in crime tagging along for the ride".

Oh, so brazen, Morgan thought, though he did nothing to stop the Captain.  This is the sort of thing she enjoys, getting under people's skin.  He refused to crack a smile, though, regardless of the sheer humor.  "Sticking together will only help," he said dryly.  "I'll vouch for Vayne, the krogan who isn't with Aria.  He's more than capable."

Morgan pulled the Kovalyov assault rifle from his back with the arm not pinned by Captain Stone, and made sure it was ready to go.  Waiting normally bothered him, but there was nothing like a good banter to blow off all the pre-battle anxiety.

With all the Armigers in place and the Turians suited up in appropriate gear all that was left for the Audron's crew was to get in place and wait for the collectors to arrive. Despite knowing that members of the Hierarchy's elite military branch were in attendance and watching the situation Eteon was still a bit nervous though she was working her way through it. Her simple explanation to the crew she was 'leading' (much to the chagrin of most) was that they were mercs, but Suns at that. Be cautious, look as if everything has some profit to you, as if you have unseen motives but they're on the heel of your employer... for now. The Suns were shrewd in their dealings with customers and liked their trade deals defined in their favor. It was this confidence that the group would have to show.

She wasn't altogether sure how well the acting skills of the noticeably rigid would play into the ploy but it was what she had to work with. The glint in their eyes was good, Turian predatory mentality. They were all in a state of mind where they could analyze their prey for weaknesses. Many of the other races didn't quite understand that state as anything more than determination... Krogan, on the other hand, especially the attentive ones, were known to make comment. Then again many of that species didn't enjoy relating to Turians...

Eteon broke from her thinking, pondering too many things wouldn't help right now. She saw Jess standing with what looked to be her bodyguard along with a Human she hadn't met before. She knew it was coming down to the wire so to speak before game time so she wandered over.

"Part of the Blue Suns ruse I see?" Eteon nearly drawled when she was a few feet away from them. She crossed her arms and tilted her head slightly. "Not quite the performances you're used to I assume. Unfortunately I don't think we could... Shock? the Collectors into submission. We're stuck with me playing host to them."

Morgan shook his head in agreement with the turian who approached, while thinking, Another tall one. For crying out loud...  This turian, though, seemed different, less bound by doctrine.  "The Collectors will have to see through the ruse at some point.  But if anyone has something to say that could fool them longer, they can take the lead on the conversation."

"Rest assured that I know a bit about how the Suns trade. It's 20% sincerity, 30% stolen, the rest is bravado and trying to get it out of your hands so it can't be traced back to you. Especially when it's human trafficking." Eteon replied, waving off some of the concern if only to reassure herself. "I don't know much about Coilectors but I doubt that the Suns had much of an idea either meaning that any confusion I have should be covered by that at least. We're only pulling their attention until we know exactly what we are dealing with on the ground. When that's certain... Be in the right place at the right time and hope you can tear some heads all the same. Our 'air support' will deal with the rest."

Jess pursed her lips and waited for a break in the conversation. When it came she jumped in.

"Morgan? Eteon. Eteon? Morgan. And while your here luv....". Jess said to Eteon. "Maybe you can tell me what the plan is regarding our rules of engagement. And while your at it.... What exactly are we looking to acheive here beyond killing"? Jess tiltied her head. "Rule of the hunt. Let the prey lead you back to it's lair. Or cut off it's skin and trick your way in past the guards and kill the cubs. This whole scenario has potential to give us some critically needed returns if we play the right parts for the right performance".

Jess nudged Morgan with her shoulder. "Gimme a shot at getting on whatever ship they bring and I have a shot at disabling it from inside. Anika and Mister Marble face here can watch my back while we cut off their control. Last thing we want is them in control of a ship here".

Vayne finished his checks for his suit, now fully restocked in clips and in explosives. With little else to do the krogan set about helping the batarian and krogan clear the dead, looking for something to keep his mind occupied.

"Mind If I help?" He asked them as they continued to move the dead out of the area, bray and krath both giving a nonchelant shrug. "Suit yourself. Faster we do this, the faster we can get to actual work."

Vayne worked mostly by himself, finding picking up and moving the bodies pretty easy with his strength. Clearing the dead wasn't something he was a stranger towards, and it felt like any other type of dirty job as he picked up the burnt corpse and carried it bridle style towards the others whose armors were too damaged to be of use, into a large container, most likely to be dumped into space later.

"Better get paid extra for this work. I'm a solider, not some vorcha maid." krath mumbled as he dropped the dead blue sun into another container, pushing it down with a few hard shoves, before closing the lid on it, "Keep talking and you'll be the one they clean up. This is arias orders, and when she gives an order, you follow it. That's it." Bray said as he finished packing another container full of dead body, closing it up as well. Vayne stayed silent as he looked at the burned remains he held, thinking for a moment if it had been one of his kills or not. Things had been a bit chaotic, and it was a little hard to tell what was his incendiary damage, and what might have been simply collateral.

'What's done is done...' vayne thought with a sigh, dumping the body in a new container as they got back to it 'The dead don't get to carry out a grudge. And if someone else wants to do it for them, i'll be happy to oblige.'. It didn't take long to clear the rest of the corpses out, and vayne nodded. The hanger was still in pretty good shape, and any sort of damage could be explained away as simply the conditions of omega. It wasn't like it'd be a lie either, given how things went.

Vayne walked towards his new comrades to see if anything had come up with their plan. Overhearing the conversation, he decided he might as well give his two cents as he gave morgan a courtesy nod.

"Getting a read on their numbers would be good. Seeing how they travel would also be good to know. And there's the tech the blue suns was suppose to get that the collectors will have on them. Back in my day we'd have called that an exploratory scouts prize." Vayne said as he glanced towards eteon, jess, and anika, "How much hits you think you could take before your shields give?" he asked curiously, hoping it was a lot. "Collector rifles don't hit hard, but they hit fast, and constant. You should be good a few hits before you really get in trouble." he commented, hoping it might do some good for them to know.

"As to my knowledge Babe our part is to be the effective bait. It's a rough way of putting it but we're here to make sure that we can draw out the Collectors from whatever hole they like residing within so that the rest can deal with them. Once the fighting starts we can provide support since we will be in the thick of it but if need be we can duck behind some crates..." Eteon shrugged. "The end-game? Don't know. Androkan didn't feel like explaining that bit. If I had to guess I would say it is so we can get some more information on the Collectors since there is a high probability we will be running into them in the future."

She rolled the thought of Jess trying to go onto the ship in her head and tried to think of whether that would be a good idea... While she pondered that she remembered to actually say 'Hi' to Morgan. "Eteon Draiken at your service." She inclined her head again in meeting before reaching out for a human handshake.

And she blinked before turning to Vayne who had moved surprisingly quietly for a Krogan. That or she had been lost in thought... Get you head in the moment. She scolded herself. "My shields should be fine, I have decoys and cloaks to live with so I should be able to stay out of harm's way through misdirection..."  At least, that's what had been working for her in the past. She wasn't the all-out combat type, she was the person to get in, stop something, and barring that be able to get out of the way quickly.

Jess nodded. Deep in thought. When she popped her head back up there was a glint in her eye.

"Okay. I'm not saying we do it.... But I want whatever comes in this hanger grounded and neutralised as a threat. Much as I like the idea of a huge ship sized engine being blown up on Aria's station there's so much wrong with that idea that I'm not going to give the Collies the option if things turn bad for them".

Jess pointed to several of the load lifters sat in their charging bays. "I'll slave the VI's in those things to my Omni-Tool. If we have to move and need cover.... they can give it. Hell, if we need to ram the S.O.B.'s into each other I can make these things dance the Fandango before they bring the pain. That's what? Four? Five tonnes of machinery for heavy create lifting? They'll be good mobile cover in case we get pinned and need to move".

She was forgetting something she knew. She clicked her fingers a few times and the memory returned. "Oh..... that's it..... Eteon, Sweetie. Hope you don't mind. But that seamstress I told you about? I sent Anika to her with your vitals and she's got a balloon skirt ball gown on the way over for you...... And Aelias". Jess paused. "Actually now I think of it.... I might get one for Androkan as well".

Her Omnitool buzzed and she brought it up. "Traffic control. Well would you believe? Looks like my sources fingered it right". Jess looked up. "Giant flying asteroid is actually flying it's way to us. Time's slipping. Get everyone ready. and fer crying out loud.... Make sure there's a go signal. Everyone forget's the go signal. We need a go signal". She paused. "Mind you..... the first shots usually a good signal to go with". With that, Jess hurried over to the loader's and started playing with their interface.
