Morgan looked at the container.  He wasn't a pharmacist, but he had a pretty good idea.

"I would imagine Essul should accompany us back to the Janiri and join us once he has another look over Jrudek.  I want to share whatever I find on this Omni-tool with him as well.  But I have a good guess that this, since it hasn't been used, was either some sort of combat drug, or...was the antidote for whatever poison killed him.  Maybe it couldn't help him by the time he intended to use it.  Or maybe Jrudek never intended to use it at all."

Naleena spoke in a low voice. "I don't trust C-sec. I've assigned him to stay with Jrudek's corpse through the autopsy and report back to me with the findings. All tests are priority rushed and funded on my account," Naleena replied as they walked. "He seemed to know what to look for. Remember he's former BSIU, and he's earned the place as my second. I owe him my life. I never thought that person would be a Batarian."

After coming up with a cred chit. A few thermal clips. A bottle of eye drops and a pass key to some unknown thing, Jess stood and followed after the others. Casually palming the key before the C-Sec and moved along towards the Janiri's airlock.

"Ahhh, my people in the K&Q don't use QEC's. Just a regular channel will be fine. I need to touch base. See if anyone's heard anything. Every Captain on the four ships is supposed to have a cube with instructions to never open it.... Unless you have to. I need to speak with the other Captains".

Jess kept the cube in hand as she went with the others and boarded the Janiri along with them. Following Naleena to the conference room where she took a seat around a table. She glanced up and around the room.

"Cosy.... Does it come with a Sherie"?

Morgan slipped the Mockingbird chip to Jess, and whispered a quick explanation to her.  "You'll want to hang onto that.  And nobody drinks Sherry anymore do they?"

Jess was rubbing off on Morgan, with the jokes after a firefight.

"I can have some tea brought up if you would like, Jess," Naleena said. "In fact I could use some myself. VERA, would you please have the kitchen send up some Earl Grey tea and see if Grak can make some scones."

"Will do, Boss."

"Let's get to it, shall we?" Naleena asked as she stood before the group. "Morgan, I believe you know a ship called the Khukuri, and an Asari commander with dark facial markings of a hawk named Xhuan. I uncovered memories of you on serving on that ship with Jrudek. Jrudek apparently loved Xhuan like a warrior, but they had carnal experience together. Both thrived on brutality, worked singularly for a purpose, and were willing to die for that purpose. Xhuan seems to be very important. Is there anything you can tell us about her? Who is she?"

Morgan looked across at Naleena, who seemed all right after the whole experience they had gone through.  But he remembered her reaction to the meld she enacted, and at the point they were at, was certain about her abilities.  He started the conversation, adding what she said she had seen to his recollections to give as clear a picture as he could to Naleena, to Jess, and to VERA who could record, and perhaps even sort, any bits of information out.  As they talked, Morgan went over parts of his dossier, particularly some points that were missing about Xhuan.

"I couldn't uncover parts of Xhuan's service in the Serrice Guard, of course, and I was not around her much. I knew the Khukuri was hers to command, and never caught her much other than to see her on the ship.  We never talked.  The information I had put together came from digging.  So what relationship she had to Jrudek is new to me, but I suppose it makes sense.  Xhuan...seemed hard.  And she carried a lot of the weight of Iyana's tasks personally, from what I gathered.  Not being around her much, I do remember one time seeing a maiden around her, and the maiden knew who she was without introduction."

There was a quick detour Morgan made about Jrudek, about the Mockingbird chip which he explained to everyone present, and showed his own chip as well.  "I presume Iyana's people have access to these, or have them for anyone who needs them.  Absolutely illegal and very expensive."

Morgan then pulled out another chip.  Knowing Frank wasn't around, but with Anika, Jess and Naleena present, he thought it was as good a time as any to play the message that was forwarded to him for them, and for anyone involved with hunting down Iyana to access. "VERA," Morgan asked, "I'm going to link my Omni-tool with you and have you play the hologram in this message full size. It's probably the right time to show this."  Morgan then inserted the second chip into his tool and linked.

A life sized hologram of Molly Hagen appeared.  She was dressed in her typical raincoat and the armor she had worn recently.  Her distinctive features such as the hair that fell in her face constantly, or the beauty mark above her lip, were tugging reminders of her lost presence. She looked concerned, somewhat resigned, but determined.  And then she started speaking.

"Hi Naleena, Jess, Anika my favorite superhero, and Frank...Frank Eli..."  Molly curled a smile briefly.  "...if you are there.  Hi everyone.  This is one of those messages, the one that only gets played if things go very, very wrong.  I'll save the personals for the end, but I have to do my job.  Yeah, always the job, I know.  That's what I've always been about.  We're all those kinds of people though, in a way, aren't we?  And my job, not to mention yours, are more than just about us.  My job, with you, is to hunt down that killer that's out there.  That is far more dangerous than I ever imagined.  If you have nightmares about it, like me, this is nightmare worthy stuff.  The investigation is now in your hands, since I can't continue it any longer.  On the chip is my data, but it is also backed up by VERA.  But I am going to sum up what I have put together, or where to go I should say, so you can put an end to that white haired witch.  You can go out there and put an end to Iyana.

"Remember, first of all, the investigation into the L2 program is important, in that people who were in that program take a bit of hunting down, but you can access them with Spectre authority.  VERA and I narrowed down the search to three candidates that are easiest to locate and I believe have the most likelihood of providing you information.  Remember, also, for the connection between Geda Setura, who removes a pilot from the Alliance who is likely Iyana, despite her young age for a program, and that there is a blank for Geda, likely only to be lifted by a Republics Matriarch.  I do think Iyana was some sort of prodigy pilot, with privileged access to a training program, then removed from that training program to attend the L2 program, for reasons that make sense, even if we don't know what they are.

"Her history starts before all of that and I'd keep it in mind.  There must be something unique about her to have her history, and I believe Morgan was right when he talked about a cover up.  You find it and I think you'll not only come to understand what happened to her, but maybe find a way of getting at her.  And my instinct tells me she was definitely after Jen Severn...There's more, I know there's more, beyond her psychology.  There's some sort of history...those strange people she had with her, the ones you fought.  Those prison breaks that were performed to get them to her side..."

Molly's holograph looked down.  "Sorry, that's me being my detective self, going on, never happy until I got my target.  I know you have other problems, other interests to pursue.  I was helping with this one, and, well, I gave it my all.  So long and who knows, maybe you just found this recording in my locker and lifted it.  Here's to hoping we see each other soon.  You're great people.  The best I ever worked with."

The hologram of Molly gave a friendly smile, then winked out.  A set of scrolling names appeared with links to private messages:

Frank
Anika
Jess and Morgan
VERA

There was silence in the room. VERA's avatar appeared on her terminal. She stood in an empty office: no desk, no props, just her and a white light on her from above. She looked up at the others in the room and blinked. It appeared that a line from the inside of her eye following the contour of her face glistened in the light as she stood with stoic poise. She had read Molly's private message.

"Has Molly become non-functional?" she asked.

Naleena took a deep breath. "No, but she came very close. It doesn't appear that she'll be joining us again. She has a very long recovery ahead of her."

"Then I would like to visit her when we have time and when it is safe. She is my friend," VERA said.

Naleena smiled. "I'm sure we can arrange that."

"Thank you." VERA replied.

"While we're discussing Molly, I saw the image of the C-sec officer whom Jrudek had made contact. His name is William Lang. He made arrangements for the informant with whom Molly had worked to be killed. Morgan, you knew her as Lena, but her real name was Jill Lodge, a mother of two and a Shadow Broker courier," Naleena said while pacing in the room. "She blew your cover and that's how Molly tracked you down. Molly didn't know about Lang. Lang arranged for Lodge's assassination by hiring a Turian, someone going by the alias Broken Fang. Lang also helped Jrudek track down the Medusa so that the data cube could be returned along with a message: Tell her I'm keeping the mask. His visions of Iyana were different. She was glittering in silver, beautiful and goddess like, a vision to be feared only if misunderstood."

Naleena stopped pacing, faced the group, and leaned on the table. "That's why I sent Essul to observe the autopsy. Lang will avoid the place. I'll pay Lang a visit this evening after his shift. I intend to get some information and do some house cleaning. I need someone to watch my back. Morgan, are you in?"

Jess's eye's narrowed as the data Molly had collected came up and she went back in her timeline. As far back as her recorded history allowed. The notes though were a mess and in the end she gave up and asked.

"Vera? Is there any mention of family? Brother? A sister maybe? When do her records begin exactly"?

As she waited for the answer she opened the message to her and was surprised by what she read. She looked up at Morgan who himself looked distracted.

Seeing Morgan attention taken by Naleena Jess moved a hand down to begin typing a message out.

To: Cap't Fox. Cap't Scarlett. Cap't XXX

From: Cap't Stone

An event has occured that requires your attention. The data cube under the care of the Medusa was taken during it's capture. It has subsequently been returned.

If any of you have had cause to open your cubes in the past please contact me immediately on receipt of this message.

JS

Jess hit send and sat back as she reached for the cube and set it down on the table. She pondered it, sitting there innocently as Jess tried to think.

Just open it.

Rasgul said not to open it.

Rasgul's dead. It's your call.

..... He never would have told me not to if he hadn't had good reason.

Jess frowned as she came back to the conversation going on as the door opened and Anika stepped through the door.

"Sorry. Had to make sure someone on the Medusa is keeping Mr Bojangles feeding schedule..... What did I miss"?

Morgan was reading his own personal message.  He shoved back in the chair he was sitting in, and even though he was next to Jess, she watched him clear his throat, and then put a finger around the inside of his collar as if he had to let an unbearable amount of heat out.  Even though Morgan was a pro at hiding his emotions, Jess saw the message landed.  And if he weren't Morgan, he'd be red as an emergency light.

In fact, this pretty much was Morgan as embarrassed as he got.

One second's glance from Morgan to Jess and he knew she'd gotten the message too.  And had seen him.  He flashed a smirk like he'd been busted, and then launched into an entire change of subject.

"I'd be in, but I had this...well,"  uncomfortable as it was, Morgan broke out the old fashioned business card.  "Someone wanted to meet me from the press conference.  Probably a good idea if we want to find out more of what's going on with Terra Firma."

Morgan flipped the front of the card in the direction of Jess so she could see the name on it:  Amy Babylon

VERA responded to Jess' question then.  "Detective Hagen had given me many paths to investigate and I have run them all.  There is no mention of family in the past of anyone named Iyana.  In fact, the name Iyana does not show up anywhere.  So to directly answer your question, Iyana's records do not show up until she is a discovered criminal, which occurs here, with us, with Morgan.  The pilot who was pulled for the L2 program's name is buried under the protective order that we must have a Matriarch clear.  But I do have my instincts for lack of a better word.  Detective Hagen has trained me in what she calls suspicion and probably cause.  It seems that there is a loose letter in regards to the pilot, a request for information on another possible candidate, with a memo returned with no names mentioned, however an answer of 'Possible, but too young at this time.'  I have run a thorough delve into the information and to go further, the protective order must be lifted."

Iole

"Frank, seriously, sometimes...you know what?  I can't save you from yourself."  Iole was joking at that point, as she grabbed the Hahne-Kedar armor and started making the appropriate adjustments for it.  "The great thing about this suit is it is pretty much adjustable to my size...and that's because I'm fairly within normal height ranges.  So let's see how this thing looks."

Without a single moment of pause, Iole began stripping off her clothes.

Alrighty, then.

At first, Frank rotated a bit to give her a little privacy. And then he thought about it.

You know what? I ain’t even gonna…” Frank shook his head.  “I’m just gonna sit here…” He backed up, and took a seat on the crate,  slouching forward as to not bump his head on the ceiling again. “I’m going to sit here, and… well, watch ya get naked.” He shrugged.

Is that cool? I mean, ‘cause at this point, I just kinda expect it. I mean like, no matter where I go, ya’ll be takin’ your clothes off, just like it ain’t no thing.” Frank chuckled. “Between you and Kira… It’s whatever though. I-I'm not uh... heh. Complainin' or n-nothin' about uh..." He bit his knuckle to prevent more words.

Citadel NewsNet

A few hours ago, street workers made a shocking discovery in an alleway of Zakera Ward; the corpse of a human, cut in two, as well as the body of another man, who, after recent reports from Zakera General Hospital, has only suffered light injuries. According to the witness' report, the murder was committed by a tall turian in unusual red armor and a Typhoon machine gun, and a hooded person, presumably human, in light, black armor, armed with a large sword. C-Sec already started the search for the two main suspects, yet nothing is known about the motives or the circumstances of the crime.

At the moment it is also unclear, whether this incident is somehow connected to the murder of two humans at the TerF Rally yesterday...

"I know a Matriarch who might help us especially since she profited from our last venture," Naleena said, "Aria T'loak. Because of what we did she has gained influence due to increased commerce."

That raised some eyebrows.

"Do not underestimate the power she has in the Asari Republics. With increasing commerce, her criminal organization has taken on a more legitimate appearance. Appearances count for a lot in the Republics, but make no mistake. If I know Aria it is in appearance only," Naleena said.

She paused for a second as her thoughts drifted back to the evening. "VERA, did Irina ever run the new candidate through the combat sim? How did he do?"

"irina gave him a passing grade," VERA replied.

"I sense hesitation."

"He died," VERA said and Naleena raised her brow. "Irina said that I presented them with an unrealistic test."

"What was unrealistic about it?"

VERA tipped her head down and looked up with her eyes. "My recent experience in a mobile platform and remote piloting the shuttle provided me with sufficient data to create a modified YMIR with shoulder mounted missile launchers and jump jets. I wanted to test it. It was successful. However, Irina Sloane is correct. Under normal circumstances Jonathan Daniels would have passed."

"And where is Jonathan Daniels?"

"He is in his quarters putting away his gear."

"Would you please inform Mr. Daniels to report to the Conference Room?" Naleena asked, "We have a little mission."

"At once, Your Highness."

Cabin 9, for the first time in months, was livable again. Still had that smell though.  Johnny took a step back to admire his work.  Satisfied, he pulled the chair from the table to sit, but was interrupted by the ship's VI. He was needed in the conference room.

It didn't take him long to find it, but it did take a moment to gather himself before he could enter.  Taking a deep breath, he stepped through the door, and stopped near the end of the table.

Johnny looked calm, and collected, although on the inside he was far from it."Y-you needed to see me, ma'am?" He asked, his voice cracking ever so slightly.

Naleena smiled. "Have a seat, Johnny. This is Johnny Daniels. He's a new member of the team. This is Morgan, Jess, Anika, and of course you met VERA. It seems like the rest of the team will be occupied this evening so you and I have a little job to do. Besides, it'll give us a chance to get to know each other, and work side by side. I just wanted to make sure you didn't run off anywhere, and besides, what we're discussing is related."

She turned her attention back to the others. "There's one last piece I need to mention. During my meld with Jrudek, just before he passed, he tried to block me again. He told me that 'Iyana is everywhere.... I felt a thought before the mind guiding me.... Then Iyana was there, first a business woman in a violet dress, then the woman in violet armor, and then finally someone gleaming in silvery light, shining like a knight, no an angel, no, a Queen!  Terrible and great, she walked amongst predators, beasts and the downfallen. There was a place of fertile land that she would rise from, somewhere in the Terminus Systems...but that is too vague. How many garden worlds are there in the Terminus? She had gone somewhere else and returned. Jrudek did not know the other location and the second place confused me. I saw there were guards, the color red, and then I had to leave the meld.

"It is difficult for me to make sense of these images. If he only had not fought the meld I would have gotten more, but then what could I expect?"

Morgan had his head in his omni-tool, reading the newsfeed and wondering about the turian he'd seen working with Naleena.

"You'll probably want to replay the message from Molly," Morgan said to Anika while he read the feed.  "There's also a personal message for you.  And we've been talking about Iyana amongst other things."

The thought about VERA's reaction to Molly's message was also on his mind.  Something else he wanted to find out more about when he had a chance.

At that point, Johnny came into the room.  Morgan stood to shake his hand and gave him a quick, "Welcome."  Then he was going to mention something about Iyana in response to Naleena but VERA interjected.

"Boss, I have closely examined the order issued covering the information on the pilot.  While it is possible Aria may help, it may cause yet another route of appeals against her that may take a very long time to process.  Her influence is great, but may I suggest a more direct route, such as someone sitting directly on the senate.  There would be no need for review; a sitting senate matriarch could simply rescind the order on one command.  Perhaps you could make such a contact.  Or perhaps finding such a senator through Aria, or even Xanthe Remi, would provide a more rapid solution."

"I'm not sure about all that imagery," Morgan said, going back to the topic of what Naleena had seen.  "Maybe it is some sort of insight to how someone like Jrudek is influenced by Iyana.  It's abstract; I don't know that he consciously thought of her in the way you describe, but you'd understand surreal versus literate imagery better than me.  Your description sounds like it has dreamlike qualities is all I can say about it.  Her way, however, I'm sure had something to do with the way Jrudek acted.  She could have commanded him directly, or maybe she simply made a suggestion, or used the long standing influence she had over him."

Contemplating a bit further, Morgan said, "I'm sure there has to be some meaning to this for her, and something Molly said to me has made me think."  He turned to look at Jess.  "I think she sees you as her main adversary, for whatever reason.  And she may be attempting to accomplish  multiple goals.  A message, perhaps some sort of capitulatioin.  A way of saying she doesn't need you anymore or things are different."  Morgan paused.  "I worry that there might be some additional goal that she's accomplishing with this, but I couldn't tell you what it is.

"Maybe Lang can shed some light.  It's no mystery anymore why he seemed nervous."

Morgan looked down at the card again, curiously.  "This meeting, by the way," he said to Jess, "I don't have to go alone.  But someone would have to tell me if showing up with another would be the right move."

Naleena thought about what had been said. "We sold the Collector vessel to Matriarch Alestia, and I'm certain her corporations and the Asari Military have benefited from having first crack at the technology. I could perhaps contact her for a referral to a receptive senate Matriarch. Thoughts?

"And you're right, Morgan, the imagery has almost dreamlike qualities to it. It was like he was trying to keep me away from the truth, and the poison was aiding him by breaking down the nervous system. But melds are often dreamlike. This one was very difficult. Iyana did wear an outlandish purple outfit when we saw her. Jess threw her the silver mask. One of the messages was Tell her I'm keeping the mask. Now the image is bathed in silvery light. The image has to be Iyana in silver armor. She has settled somewhere in the Terminus where she is ruling as a Queen, but where? Then there was another location that Jrudek was giving up before he died: one with guards and red. What was that? Jess, do you have any ideas?

"Something to remember is that I received intel prior to heading to Illium that the Shadow Broker has declared Iyana rogue for the actions aboard the Medusa and other extreme measures. I've lived a long time. The Shadow Broker network is normally run like a business selling information. Enforcers like me got called in when people crossed the Shadow Broker or when operatives crossed the line. People doing things like Iyana would normally not be tolerated. What makes Iyana so dangerous is the loyalty she seems to inspire in people. The images I saw suggest that she's set up shop elsewhere and has taken her resources with her. Resources that belonged to the Broker. I cannot imagine that the Broker is pleased."

Naleena turned back to Morgan. "If Jess doesn't feel comfortable going to meet Amy with you, perhaps Dahlia then? People see her as just another Asari. She has such little presence."

Naleena noticed Johnny looked lost, but she understood and would explain things to him later.

-C-Sec Headquarters-

"...." Essul said as he stood with his arms folded, staring at William Lang as he preformed the scans on the suspects armor.

"...." William Lang retorted as he tried not to focus on the large batarian standing in the corner of the room, boring holes into his back with his gaze.

"...." Interjected Jrudek, still very much dead as his cadaver lay on an morgue table, stripped and in a body bag.

"You're not gonna leave me alone? Even for a second?" Lang asked as he did the scan, sighing as essul simply stayed quiet. "Could you at least not stare? I'm just trying to do my job. What I'm paid for, you know?" he asked.

Essul continued his wall of silence, not budging an inch as Will wiped the sweat from his brow. Why wouldn't this guy just let up? How was he supposed to do his job and wipe any evidence with someone breathing down his neck like this? As lang continued to scan with his omnitool, he picked up an unusual substance inside the armors medigel dispensers.

Silently, lang breathed a sigh of relief. 'Finally. Maybe this find will get this four-eyed freak off my back...' he thought to himself as he turned to look at essul, "Hey, looks like your hunch paid off, big guy. There's some sort of foreign agent in the medigel..." He scanned it, sending the information to essuls omnitool as essul looked it over.

"Dr. Tolus. I have a report for you. Foreign substance found in the medigel. I'm sending you it now..." He said as he sent out the scanned samples. He turned his attention back to lang, making it clear he wasn't going anywhere.

Lang stared at essul, then back to the dead batarians armor, holding his silence a few seconds before he spoke. "I think I'm going to need some fresh air..." He said as he walked to the exit, essul watching him leave as he continued to stand watch of the body. Nothing had been tampered with, but lang's nervousness was certainly odd. Essul made mental note to watch out for it.

William Lang meanwhile walked through the hall with his knuckles white, clenched tightly as he marched forth. He walked past the vending machines and bathroom, heading instead for the elevators. One thought going through his mind. 'This is too hot. This whole situations got too much damn attention. I can't risk my cover being made...I gotta get to the docks...' He thought to himself.

Fade, or Harkin as he was really named, had run operations on the citadel for years. Built connections and networks. And was given kickbacks in exchange for letting a select few in on his vast enterprise. Harkin had the means of getting off this station, getting a new life. At least, new enough to get off station undetected.

Lang had made sure to keep a few of these contacts for himself, letting them off and erasing them from any testimony Harkin might have given, under the condition they be ready if he ever needed a favor called in. And now, seemed like the perfect time for that call.

Dr Tolus meanwhile had scanned through the substance, contacting essul to discuss the findings. "The substance appears to be a neural agent, designed to bond to certain receptors in the brain and spine to send the body into an accelerated enhanced chemical state. Very fascinating, but also dangerous. It destroys the bodies various organs and especially the vascular system. Using this agent would be obviously deadly without some means of neutralizing the agents affect on the receptors..."

"I want you to do me a favor, Dr. Tolus. Run a simulation with  Di-Isolyn Neuropovayzene introduced into the body..." Essul said, having a feeling he knew where this was going.

" Di-Isolyn Neuropovayzene? Potentially..." There was the sound of working in the background as Tolus came back on the line, "Yes...that could work. The unique neural inhibition of DIN appears to cease the agents ability to affect the nervous system. The byproduct however is highly toxic, the combined chemicals could poison the bloodstream if left untreated, and cause massive decreases in the immune systesm ability to reproduce..."

"Thank you Doctor. Share your findings with Naleena and the others...tell them I need to talk with them as well..." He disconnected the call as he looked to Jdurek's corpse.

"Who are you...how could you get your hands on that?" He asked as he stared down at the dead man, as if the answers could come that way. All there was, was silence, and the strong scent of disinfectant wafting through the room.

Iole

Iole looked at Frank with a suggestive look, then she said with a voice that teased, "Aw, I'm sorry, did I make you feel uncomfortable?"

Then Iole hummed a tune and started picking up pieces of her armor to put on.  But she didn't just put them on...she started dancing as she put them on.  She started bopping adorably more than anything else, moving her hips one way, while tilting her chin the other to a rhythm.   Iole lowered her eyelids and smiled.  Then she got downright suggestive with her movements as she slipped on the protective under layer of her leggings.

"Too bad there's no one to help me with this and I'm all alone," Iole said seductively.

Jenus

While she helped herself to another piece of sushi, Jenus caught the news feed hanging above the sushi bar.  She nudged Irina and told both her and Vayne, "Doesn't the description of that turian sound familiar in the news?  Didn't Arian get his hands on a Typhoon lately or am I transplanting images of Anika in my mind?"

Jess groaned. "Great..... I've given that woman a silver makeover....". She sloached in her seat as she took the mocking chip Morgan gave her and flipped it across her fingers, back and forth. "All I did at the time was push my old makeshift personae onto her. Silver did some bad stuff in her time that dipped into unlawful, but never monstrous. Back then I figured if the galaxy heard what a monster Iyana was she'd be forgotten in a month. So the infamous Silver get's unmasked. The pirate everyone wants to bring home in the bag. It's an easier leap to monster from well known pirate than being someone no one ever heard of before.....". Jess's face turned thoughtful as she regarded the chip held in her knuckles. "Odd..... Jrudek seems to see her that way now. Like she hasn't tried to shed the personae. Like she's embracing what I gave her. I did it to hurt her, stop her operating openly by putting her face across the galaxy.... But it sounds like she's embraced it".

Sighing Jess sat up and tucked the chip into a pouch. "But anyway. Morgan?..... I.... guess I'll come with you. Amy's a handful and if your careful she'll back you into a corner".

Iole's display was so painfully asari, that it almost prompted an eyeroll from Frank. Almost.

"Hm." Frank smirked, while sliding off of the crate. "It guess it can be kind of a pain in the ass without an extra pair of hands..." He shrugged.

After collecting the remaining pieces of armor, he crouched and began working on her left leg. He was thankful for the subdued lighting of the holds, as he began to feel a little warmness in is face.

"It's much easier comin' off than it is... than it is goin' on." Frank looked up just as he finished his surprisingly unintentional sounding innuendo. He cleared his throat, and continued working. "But that depends on the set, I guess. The ones with the one-piece uppers can be difficult at times..."

Johnny

If Johnny looked lost, it's because he totally was.

Collector vessels? The Shadow Broker? Aria? Like, that Aria? Pirates?"

There was just so much crazy sh*t to take in.

Miss Priss

Dahlia seemd so focused as to perhaps Miss Priss coming up behind her as she waited.  Which was surprising, since Miss Priss' jingle was like a bell, always announcing her location.

"You seem to be waiting for someone, Gem Eyes?" Priss inquired of Dahlia in a leading fashion.  She was decked out in her pink cowgirl gear again, this time her holdout strapped to a belt holster which, of course, was made of pink leather.  "You mind if I wait with you?"

Miss Priss really wasn't asking much.  She leaned against a wall and folded her arms across her.  "You're waiting, I know, because of that alert.  But I have a tingling in my ear that says you're waiting for another reason.  You want to start asking me those questions, now that nobody's around?"

Priss was right.  The Medusa's crew had their hands full.  It was just the two of them with a private moment to talk.

Morgan

"Iyana has survived, and not just through force," Morgan said in response to Jess' remarks.  "She is a master manipulator, and the speed at which she thinks is far faster than an average person.  It's still a bit...odd, though, that she would so readily embrace the thing you intended to have thwart her."

With all the moving parts that had to be handled, Morgan was happy to settle on one, knowing others would handle the rest.  "With Amy, I do have this feeling I'm better off not going on my own," Morgan said to Jess.  He still had Molly's message running around his head. "If Lang is being handled, then I also feel a bit more free in going to see this...PR rep."

Jess hmphed before continuing. "Glad your not taking her lightly. Anyway, One thing the Silver personae has in abundance is freedom. Lately without Silver I have to toe the line since everything I do these days gets connected back to the ship. And by extension K&Q. Silver freed me to do things while protecting the parent company and I'm saying this in front of a Spectre aren't I.....". Jess's head half turned to look at Naleena before sketching a forced smile. Then she turned back. "..... Silver was always a larger than life character too. Maybe Iyana see's the benefit's.... Or maybe she really does want to be seen as a Queen. In which case she'll be looking for a King. And it looks to me like she sacrificed a pawn". She said referring to Jrudek.

"Uggh. So let's see what's outstanding. Meet with TerF. Get a Matriarch onboard to unlock data on Iyana's past. Chase this Lang down. Meet the new guy over there... Johnny right"? Jess turned, took a couple of steps and clapped him on the shoulder. "Pleased to meet you. Welcome aboard. Hope you checked your expectations at the airlock. Just baggage at this stage of the chase".
