Morgan was comfortable at the table with Miss Priss wrapped around him, finding the seems under his plates when he saw Dahlia motion to come over to the bar with her.  Sit down, get up, sit down, get up; how many directions am I going to be pulled in?  Morgan thought.  He gave a glance to Naleena and said with a bit of mirth in his voice, “I’m not taking over your job, so you know.”  He left his drink for Miss Priss and then directed his next sentence quietly to her, “Toss one back, save my seat, and I’ll be right back.  Don’t go anywhere.”

“For what your darlin’ partner is talking about over here with my darlin’ partner, you best believe I’ll keep your seat warm, handsome.”

Untwisting himself, Morgan got up and pulled out the chair for Miss Priss.  Once she was set, he took a walk over to the bar, being sure to stay clear of the batarians.  He came up next to Dahlia and leaned in as Gullet put two shots down near the asari.

“We’ve got to work on your signals,” Morgan said.  “Nice jackpot, by the way.  I wish I were that lucky.  Go ahead and talk to me. I shouldn’t stay up here long.”

Vayne took a step out of the station as he looked out at the town of dellous, seeing the dirty streets of unpaved or built dust and natural soil, to the mostly untreated buildings and the baking sun above them. His metallic and plain armor looked like it could easily have come from the stock metal buildings that made up the town, giving a chuckle, which turned into a cough, from vayne. The air here was thin, and for a krogan whose body was still in rough shape, it made him feel like he was back home again.

"Back in my old armor, on a place that reminds me of home..." Vayne muttered to himself as he stopped, looking at what seemed to be some machine modeled off of a hideously deformed, long legged varren. "....mostly home." He amended, as he stepped into the street and began his journey, careful this time to not drop his guard in case anyone were to try and set up an ambush. Normally not a concern for him, except that it had already happened once and nearly killed him.

Getting morgans message, vayne couldn't help but give a small and hearty chuckle, A hot and dry world in outdated armor meeting at some sleezy bar, this whole trip was like one long voyage down memory lane, only he hoped he wouldn't need to rip anyone's jaws off like he normally would have back in the day. As he walked pass, he noticed a drell staring at him, a few others with him as well. Vayne looked at him from across the street, single eye trained on him for a good few seconds before he smiled, and gave a nod, continuing on his way. He had nothing to hide with jorgah law of the backwater, so wasn't too concerned as he made it to the bar in question, seeing the wooden door at the entrance way.

"How cute..." He commented, stepping through the entrance way and into the saloon, looking for where the others might be in this place.

Dahlia was playing with her drink. "The Batarian with his back to us is named Tardek. He knows Jess. He worked with Griff, and he's got some kind of beef with her. He's been drinking too much and he's on a losing streak. Did you serve in the Alliance on Elysium? He thinks he saw you there. Watch out for him. Buy another bottle and head back to your table. I don't want that ass**** to think we're together. I'm just going to sit here. Oh, and thanks for the tip on the hand signals. I'll be a little more subtle next time." She downed her shot.

Morgan grabbed the other shot in front of Dahlia, which turned out to be the whiskey.  He spoke just loud enough for her to hear him.  “I’m dead broke, so I can’t purchase another bottle.  That means you just bought this right here for me.”  Morgan tossed back the whiskey, and put the glass upside down on the bar.  “The good news is if this Tardek’s been paying attention, he already knows we got up from the same table.  I get the suspicion he does, so no need to concern ourselves with hiding that.  It doesn’t mean he knows what we’re talking about, though.

“I did do time on that hell hole called Elysium,” Morgan went on, “But I don’t recognize either of those two batarians.”  He waved off Gullet as he came by to do another pour and the krogan went away to another customer.  Morgan curled a brief smile, “You’re all right, Dahlia, even if there are some kinks to work out. Got to get back now and let Jess know that other bit you overheard.”

With a turn on his boot heel, Morgan started back to the table with the rest of the Audron’s party.  He passed closer to the batarians this time, however, and Tardek glared up at Morgan from his seat.

“Do I know you, outsider?”  Tardek’s voice was antagonistic and raspy.

Morgan stopped, and slowly spun his head in Tardek’s direction.  He made sure the Phalanx at his side caught the light streaming through the saloon’s windows.  Tardek couldn’t help but notice the pistol and how close Morgan’s hand was to it.  The batarian’s brow raised in surprise and anger.  Tardek gulped and his hand nervously went to his own gun.

The move caused Morgan to coolly watch Tardek’s hand, and then he squinted with a gritty expression on his face.  Tardek’s batarian card opponent shook his head, which caught the aggressor’s attention.

Tardek moved his hand away from his gun, “Thought I’d seen you somewhere before.”

“No,” Morgan said, ice in his words, “You don’t know me.”

Tardek grunted and picked up his cards, trying to get himself back into his game.  Morgan kept him in his peripheral vision and returned to the table, where Miss Priss made to fawn over him again.  Morgan noticed Priss left the arm and side his pistol was on free and clear.

“Tardek Razr’s a bad egg, handsome,” Miss Priss remarked, “But you seem to have put him in his place.”

“Did I?” Morgan wondered aloud.  “You don’t have to keep flattering me.  That troublemaker’s the kind of wound that tends to fester.” He turned to Jess, “I have it on good source that the batarian claims he’s seen you with someone named Griff.  Maybe an old friend of yours?”

At that point Morgan spotted a krogan clanking through the entrance in metal armor.  He wouldn’t have recognized Vayne if his visor wasn’t up.  Morgan waited until Vayne turned his way, then caught the krogan’s attention with a quick wave.

Dahlia smiled at Morgan and spoke quietly. "That's okay. I understand about not having stuff. I'll buy that bottle for you. Perhaps we can have lunch sometime?"

Morgan didn't give any real acknowledgement. Maybe he heard her. Maybe he didn't. She was just a kid, but she liked Morgan. The man is tough, but he's honest. I don't think he'd play games. I don't want to play games. He's a lot older than I am in terms of years, but I don't care about that. Goddess, I hope he doesn't think I'm looking for a father figure. She thought, and continued to sit at the bar and started chatting up small talk with Gullet. It was pretty uninteresting, but she was mostly paying attention to the comings and goings in the bar and the group of Batarians, and doing so in a discreet manner.

Meanwhile Naleena was sitting with Anika and both of them were people watching and listening. Naleena had an eye on Dahlia just to make sure no one got the drop on her.

Vayne looked around the bar, taking in all the faces and sounds as a movement caught his attention. Looking over, he was morgan waving to him, the others nearby as the krogan walked his way over towards their table, careful not to get too close to anyone should he end up bumping into them. A few people looked at the krogan, not more then a curious glance or two. From the corner of his eye, vayne noticed a pair of batarians nearby, watching him as he made his way towards the group and whispering amongst themselves. Vayne turned his head to get a good look at them, and they in turn stopped their whispering and watched him. Vayne stood still a moment before cracking a grin, tilting his head to the right, a batarian gesture showing good tiding, before he continued on to the group. No need to be causing waves so soon as he'd gotten on his two feet.

"Don't any of you say a damn word." Vayne said as he came to their table, taking a seat as his grin turned into a frown, "This was the only suit of armor I had, lets just leave it at that." he stated as he looked to each of his traveling companions, making sure they understood. A Tomkah armor was a rare sight to see now a days, considered outdated circa 80 years ago when ceramic tech really started to take off, it also had the notorious history of being a go to armor brand and design for pirates back in the old 1900's, famous folk like Obsidian Osgray, The Baron of Ismar, Lady Adaya Baskaren, and of course, the never positively identified Captain Sangar, captain of the Scarlet Rangers. Made from Nassau by pirates, for pirates, and customized by almost everyone who owned one, it was rare to see one not painted and pristine in some museum or private collectors display case. Certainly not looking like someone had done everyone to scrap it clean and beat it up a bit, or wearing a set for that matter.

"So...how you all doing? Got into any trouble yet?" Vayne asked as he leaned in his seat a bit, letting out a sigh of relief to have some weight taken off his body for a bit.

Jess looked over Shiana's form at Vayne. "Hey luv! Good that your back on your feet...... Where'd you get that rig? I haven't seen armour like that except in collector's showrooms...... it was alot better kept too".

"Jess"! Anika admonished.

"I'm just saying I can probably tune it up and give it a spit of oil. Much as the older armours were good for their time..... the part's just wear out eventually. Plus I've always wanted to try and kit a Krogan with a jet rocket on their back.....".

With Shiana and Priss hanging over the table, Morgan suspected it would be difficult for some to talk about business, so that was the first item to bring up and put people to ease with.  “Ladies,” Morgan addressed Priss and Shiana, “Would you be so kind as to go over and bring our asari friend at the bar back over to us?”

“Don’t be leading us on, handsome,” Priss said with an enticing growl.

“I wouldn’t do such a thing.”

“Be back in just a blink,” Shiana said, got up, and walked off with Priss in her arm.

Morgan moved in so only the others at the table could here.  “Sorry to pull the conversation away from rocket powered krogan, but those two women can be bought with the money we are talking about here. So when they come back, I’m going to start bringing up where we’re going.  It isn’t so sensitive that overhearing it is going to hurt.  And Dahlia, I think needs to be in the conversation.”

Morgan waited for the women to come back with Dahlia, whom he pulled an extra chair in for.  Priss and Shiana went back to fawning.

“Here’s what I think,” he started while Miss Priss moved to sit on one leg so he had room.  “This place is as fine as any to work from, unless we have to fall back to the Audron, where we’ll rally if needed.  I’m going to suggest splitting up three ways:  One is to find out about that armor for the ship, and since we’re talking asari, I would think Naleena, you could handle that with Anika or me.  You could use the extra guard.  Whoever doesn’t go with you, goes with the Captain, since she’s got the lead on the Drowned Aspire.  Anyone left can take a look around, find out more about the people we need, and see what there is to buy around here.  We can always use guns, armor and upgrades.”

“You big guns can ask myself or Miss Priss here anything you want to know about these parts,” Miss Shiana offered, “Since the pretty lady in green and I came to our agreement.”  She brushed Jess’ cheek gently.  “We’re going to need half up front, beautiful.  And the other half, you know, when we’re done.”

Hopping back into Jess's lap Shiana drew Jess's face back to her's. "We were talking sweetheart".

"That we were luv. Tell me.... what do you mine here"?

"Oh, this and that".

"And this and that gets council interest becauuuuse"?

Shiana smiled. "I suppose I could tell you. But it's not on the Extranet is it".

"No it isn't".

"You know why"?

Jess rolled her eye's. "Because it's secret".

"That's right hun. The biggest kept secret. You ever wonder why a council world with this much credit thrown at it has problems communicating with the outside world? What they dig here is worth alot to the right people".

"Who"?

Shiana smiled sweetly once more. "Forty thousand".

"We agreed, Eighteen and half".

"For the groups sweetheart. This is something the council thinks is worth killing for..... Who do you think the Sheriff answers to"?

"I can ask the miner's".

"They'd tell you hun, for a price.... then they'd report you. Then you'd become another skeleton on the mile limit".

"Harsh treatment".

"Welcome to Duellos sweetheart".

Jess chewed her lip. "So what am I paying for? Exactly"?

Shiana brought her face close to Jess's ear. "A room where no one can hear us talk for starters. After that.....". She drew back. "Like I said, I know people like you. Trouble witha capital Tee. You arrived on the Spectre ship. Those are two very dangerous element's to have attached to your name around here".

Jess looked over at the group. "Okay". She said. "But first..... I need to know where they manufacture the Asari hull armour on this planet".

"The what now"?

"Luv.... You have your talents.... I have mine. Name your price".

Shiana's eye's went wide, then settled as she looked over at Priss who nodded. "Twenty five".

"Done".

Shiana opened her mouth. "No haggling"?

"I appreciate what it'll cost you in the short term luv. Plus..... If I'm going to screw you it's only fair you screw me back".

Shiana chuckled. "What your looking for isn't in town. It's far away, closer to the central mines. they ship it here by mass rail. Those Asari Commando's have a post there to keep people away. If you go, make sure you have a reason they think is good enough".

"We're buyer's".

"It's earmarked..... Everything that comes out of that place goes onto Asari cargo ships and goes to their ship yards. It's effectively bought already".

"The council.....".

"Sweetie.... The council paid for this colony and everything in it.... But they don't share here. They have their interests and the status quo is enforced so no one thinks to step out of line".

"Well..... There's more than one place to get the armour we're looking for". Jess said looking pointedly at the others. "What about the cult"?

"What about them"? Shiana laughed. "Their a cult! They have these great ideals of protecting humanity from the danger's of the frontier but........". Shiana sighed. "Look. They sell their pitch..... but the goods aren't exactly what you or I would call a good investment. Protection means guns. And I never heard of a religous group with enough guns to protect anyone but themselves".

"We just need a location".

Shiana groaned in exasperation and brought her Omni-Tool up. Shooting the location to them all. "It's no secret. Consider that one a freebie".

Jess ran her free hand up to her shoulder, feeling the heat of her eminating through the material. "You think it isn't odd"?

"Odd"?

"A pro human defence cult willing to take in people like Pug back there"?

Shiana's vocie held an edge. "I don't concern myself with imagining what those people might think. Their a group of the easily led. Simple and straight forward. Now..... Anything else? Or shall we go upstair's and see whose screwed who the most"?

Jess held Shiana's gaze as she called across the table. "Morgan..... I want you with me. Anika...... stay with Naleena. If you get the chance ask those Asari about the armour". Jess turned to look at Naleena. "She knows how I found out so if they give you grief, tell them how. Last thing I want is for them to think they've got spies handing out their secrets".

Shiana hopped off Jess's lap and hung onto her arm as Jess rose and placed a hand over her's. "Actually..... you lot do what you like. But Anika..... I'd appreciate.....".

"Keeping an eye out..... I know. Anything happens I'll alert you". She looked over at Naleena. "You go with her if you want. After all, this is business".

"Your business, sugar......". Shiana purred as she began to drag Jess towards the stairs. ".....Is our pleasure".

"What did I say about saying stuff? Pretty sure it covered talking about my armor..." Vayne said as he let out a sigh, wondering if it was too late to get a drink, "This suits mine, I used to run it back in the day. Got a bit of sentimental value to it, you might say. It's kept me alive well enough, and I keep it well maintained in return. Course the upper chest mounts are a pain to slide into place, always have been..." at the mention of mounting a rocket on him, vayne looked to jess a good long while in silence before speaking.

"Captain...do I look like an elcor to you? This mission would need to pay a lot more for me to strap a bomb on my back." he said, laughing a bit at the thought of himself carrying one of those massive elcor guns.

His thoughts were interrupted by news of a cult, firefights, and investigations, "Seems I missed a bit." he said as he looked between the others, keeping his mouth shut as he listened up.

"This cult of the drown aspire..." Vayne said after a good long while, looking to naleena, "They ever operate a chapter out of omega?" he asked, rememebring something from a long while ago. That girl zenon, the one he was tasked with rescuing, and the blue suns protecting some pro-humanity event she'd planned on going to. Two pro-humanity organizations, operating in two places they were investigating?

Something was wrong with this scene, vayne thought, and he had a very bad feeling over it.

At the mention of gathering supplies though, vayne gave a nod, "I think I'll take to looking around the town. Try to find a nice place to stock up the armory, maybe find some nice toys for all of us to use as well." He said as he gave a chuckle, "And here I thought us splitting up and getting into gunfights was a one time deal." grinning pretty brightly as he almost looked forward to this.

Jess gave Vayne an impish grin. "Not to be blunt luv.....Nah heck with it. Your too heavy for one of those Turian jet packs..... Now a shoulder mounted canon on the other hand...... I like how you think luv! You could be the ultimate predator"!

Tugging back at Shiana Jess paused her enough to turn back to Vayne. "Far as I know the DA use Omega as a stop over and run a few clerics to pick up new initiates. Same everywhere they go. They recruit, they find, they take somewhere. I doubt this is the only church they run. It's just the oneI found in the DA computer system before they wiped their system clean. Whatever they were trying to hide.... It's got me curious".

Shiana tugged insistantly on Jess arm. "Time is money".

Jess looked back at Vayne and grinned. "You change you mind just come looking and knock on the door".

Shiana rolled her eye's. "I tried a Krogan once honey..... Never again"!

From across the bar they heard a air cycler.. "<Hiss>..... I wouldn't mind. <Hiss>".

Anika leaned back in her chair and rolled her eye's. "She's serious". She said to Vayne. "I don't know how or why but that woman is utterly blind to race or species". Anika then turned and looked at Vayne, running her eye's down his armored body before turning away. "It's just...... I find it hard..... to follow that example".

"Well okay then, terrific." The krogan said as he suddenly found his hand tapping on the table quiet fascinating, and not talking about what may or may not be his sexual proclivities, nor that of the others. "The case that brought me here, the missing persons report. One of the leads I had was that there was some sort of prohumanity event on omega, where the blue suns were working security...I'm thinking this cult had something to do with it."

"Not sure if that helps, but I figured you could use the heads up...assuming the leads are connected." Vayne said as his eyes drifted up to the volus for a second, before quickly darting down again, a slight reddening of his scales taking place. "Yup...that's all I had to say on that."

Morgan raised an eyebrow at the bit of ‘captain’ that came through Jess’ voice.  Miss Priss smiled broadly with full lips and pulled at Morgan’s arm to lift him out of the chair.

“Your friend there likes taking charge?” Priss asked leadingly, “I hope she’s just like that in private.”

Allowing himself to be guided up and away from the table, Morgan paused and turned to Vayne before he left.  “I’ll help you with whatever you need Vanye.”

Then Priss tugged him. “I like the helpful types, handsome.  Maybe you don’t give the orders but you look like you could take charge to me.”

As Morgan was led upstairs, just behind Jess and Shiana, he kept his senses about him.  “Miss, like I said, you don’t have to flatter me.  I know I’m not much to look at and you don’t have to build me up.”

Shiana hit the top of the steps and called over to the turian who had tossed Pug.  “You don’t have to worry about them, they’ve got plenty of clock…yes I said clock.”  The turian nodded and looked the other way.

Miss Priss suddenly pushed Morgan to the wall half way up the stairs, just out of sight of most people in the saloon.  She pretended to play with his neck while whispering to him.

“I need the kind of man who can help with a problem.  A man like you.”

Morgan watched as Shiana and Jess made their way along the balcony, likely to a corner room.  He responded under his breath.  “I’m not sure what you mean.”

“Let me lay it out for you, quiet like, handsome,” Miss Priss replied, and then put her lips to Morgan’s ear and whispered a tale.

When she was finished, Morgan peered down at Priss.  “That’s a problem all right.  You tell me what it’s worth.”

Priss whispered in Morgan’s ear again.

“Well, you are certainly a business woman,” Morgan said and nodded.  “I can take care of it.  Let’s catch up now.”

Miss Priss practically raced up the rest of the distance to the corner room door that Shiana hadn’t even had a chance to close.  Morgan entered last, not quite ready to go running to his fate.  When he crossed the threshold, he saw a chamber cast in red with plush curtains pulled.  There was a wide bed, and Shiana was setting the lights low.  The asari pulled out a tray with a collection of tall, whitish cylinders on it.

“Are those?...” Morgan began to ask in amazement.

“Candles!” Shiana and Priss answered at the same time.

Miss Priss put her hands on her hips, arched her back and threw back her hair.  Earings sparkled and she grabbed Morgan by an armor plate.  “You tell me what you’re hiding under there…Oh, just one moment!”

Reaching past her dress to roll down the top of one of her high pink boots, Priss revealed a small holdout pistol, and holster (also colored pink) on her lower leg.  She unfastened the leg holster and tossed the gun on the floor to the side of the bed.

“We’re gonna set off plenty, handsome.  No need to get that caught up in the mix.”

Shiana drew the tip of her finger over Bernard. "Speaking of big guns.....".

Jess caught her hand. "I like to handle that one myself luv". She said as she pulled Bernard off his hard point and set it down on the bedside before straightening. Shiana was there to meet her.

"Let's help you out of these". She mummered as she found the top of the zipper of Jess's sleeveless top. "My.....". She said as she ran a hand over Jess's arm. "...... If the rest of you is the same I think we're......".

Jess reached up and closed her hand around Shiana's. "You said we could talk here".

"After".

"After you'll probably be to tired".

Shiana raised an eyebrow. "My! Did you hear that Miss Priss"?

"I surely did Miss Shiana". Priss replied. "Mayhaps we have two catches who are all to sure of themselves".

Shiana looked Jess in the eye's as Jess remained quiet. "We don't have to discuss it now surely"?

"I want to know luv. What are they mining here that's so secret".

"They mine alot of things on Duellos".

"I know. It's listed".

"It's not all listed".

"What"?

Shiana glanced at the door. "One of the commando's let it slip. To much entertainment. To much substance. She boasted the whole thing".

"What"?

"Eezo".

Jess waited. Then when she realised nothing more was forthcoming she asked. "Eezo"?

Shiana nodded.

Jess rocked her head back and laughed. "Luv.... That's not..... Ee.....".

Shiana clasped a hand over Jess's mouth. "Shhhh". She hissed. "Not so loud"!

The earnest tone in her warning penetrated her mind as she pulled Shiana's hand away. "Luv..... Eezo's not so rare that they hide it.... Wait..... Eezo on this planet? That's wrong. You don't get the stuff on worlds. It takes a supernova to form it's......".

"It's pure".

Jess abruptly stopped talking. "Pure"?

"Refined. It's already processed. The council have a deal. They don't let it slip that processed Eezo is on world and they share it to produce more and more ships".

"Ships.....".

Shiana nodded. "Don't ask me the details. But when the human survey team found the planet they used probes to take samples. One of them spiked in Eezo and the council sent a team to investigate. A planet with such a large quantity of Eezo? They knew it was to good to be true. But it turned out it was what the probes said. Refined Eezo sitting under the planet. They hid the results from the humans and began pushing for mining rights. Of course, your people were suspicious but they couldn't know about the Eezo so in the end, they settled for joint partnership".

Jess's mouth was fixed into a frown. "The council screwed us".

"They saw an opportunity to bypass the big mining companies. They hold a monopoly. All the companies working to keep raising the price. The council keep having to spend more and more to keep their militaries from shrinking while their opponent's use the increased spending to argue for changes in government. Mining this Eezo themselves, they cut spending. This colony costs alot less than Eezo's going market price".

Jess nodded along. "And stealing this place out from under our noses was figured a good exchange for keeping their military number's up".

Shiana placed a hand on Jess's chest. "Now don't be mad".

Jess looked down at her hand. Then looking up into her eye's reached for her zipper and pulled down. Slipping her top off it fell to the floor with a thunk. The trauma plate's woven inside adding weight as Jess reached reached forwards and drew Shiana towards her. "I'm not mad. It's none of my business. For now". She said with a grin. Looking over at Morgan she sighed. "For goodness sake luv..... Three ladies, a candle lit room and your still...... armoured up"?

Releasing Shiana she drew her along by the hand till she was standing right in front of him. Her ebony skin providing low contrast in the low lights as she slipped her arms around his neck. Drawing him forward slightly she leaned in, raising herself on her toes slightly to bring her mouth to his ear. "Me first luv. Captain's pervogative. Whatever's holding you down.... in this room..... Let it go".

To Morgan's left Priss drew close reaching for his belt. "He's certainly stiff Miss Shiana".

To his right, Shiana slipped a hand up to unbuckle his torso plating. "Then let's show these two that we're worth every credit Miss Priss".

Jess smirked as she blew into Morgan's ear before settling back. Her hands wtill around his neck as her body pressed into his armoured form. "C'mon luv..... No illusion's. We both know where we are. But let go and I'll see if I haven't gone and lost my touch in casting a spell or two".

Morgan felt his belt slip away and Priss run a hand through his short, dark hair.  He couldn’t help but cast a cautious glance to make sure the door was locked as Shiana slipped the substantial torso armor plate over his head and off him.  Priss worked on herself next, displaying that her pink leather dress came off in parts, while Shiana went to task removing Morgan’s waist and leg armor skillfully.

The skin suit shirt Morgan rolled up and off himself, showing off his broad, cut and muscular physique.  What would have been a seamless landscape of tanned skin in his youth, however, was scarred and rugged, marked continuously by the wars and battles he’d been in.  Priss leaned in on him from the side, reaching down as Shiana began pulling everything off his waist.  But for Morgan, he wasn’t paying as much attention to the two.

With his hands, Morgan reached out to pull Jess in by the waist.  His brown eyes met her gaze and, without a word, he wondered at the woman in front of him.  It could have been anything for Stone, a fling, fun, Morgan couldn’t tell for her if it was something more.  But for him, the woman who chased after him on Omega, who inadvertently ruined his plans on putting an end to his tortured existence under The Shadow Broker…that woman was more.  And Morgan felt he was just at the tip of the iceberg with Jess.  There was a depth to her than even she wouldn’t show.

That was saying a lot.

Morgan felt a sensation from below and let one hand go to grab Miss Priss’.  He pulled her hand up to place it on Jess’ shoulder.  Morgan then stepped out of the remnants of his garb that Shiana had at his feet, boots and all, and then used his other hand to bring the asari up to Stone’s other side.

“I’ll get the rest of her clothes off.  Take care of her while I do.”

Priss and Shiana moved in from the sides with a rush, and put their lips on Jess’ neck.  They each placed their fingers through the Captain’s red-brown hair and gently tugged her head slightly backward to expose more of the neck, so they could nip at it with their teeth.  Morgan began to roll down Stone’s leggings, carefully, like he was unwrapping something precious.  He was fascinated with the unblemished surface of her form.  When he reached below the knee on the shimmering green suit leggings, he found they could be opened so they could be removed without taking off Jess’s boots.

Morgan liked the boots.  They stayed on.

When Morgan stood back up, he felt the animal in him want to go wild.  Shiana and Priss didn’t contain themselves, entangling their limbs around Stone and exploring her form with tense and prodding fingers.  It was as if they were trapping the Captain for him.  But when Morgan moved into Jess from the front, he put his hands on either side of her face, tilted it ever so slightly, and placed his mouth on hers.  Morgan took every bit of that animal that wanted to be released, focused it, and drank her with a kiss.

When Morgan had reached out to pull her in by the waist, she taken the moment to place her hands between him and her. His body was a map of his life and her finger's traced the scars he had accumulated. Running over the puckered surface of his flesh she found herself drawn to the rugged texture.

Life was pain. It shaped you. It built you from the blank slate you were when you were born. And eventually..... you learned to endure. Her scar's had been removed. Her physical deformity of two shots she'd caught when she was young, erased  and replaced with an illusion of perfection. What she would have been had she not had Rasgul to save her from that..... Her captain.

But he was gone and she remained. And now standing before her was someone who could have been her a long time ago. Searching for something but finding that his strength alone would not keep the wolves at bay.

She leaned forward and trailed her toungue across his collar bone. Tasting the salty sweat from the hot dry air of the world they stood on. She was a captain. She had a to protect her crew.

.............

Morgan wasn't her crew. None of those downstair's were. But still...... when Rasgul had saved her, she wasn't crew......

..........

Something was very wrong with her she decided in the back of her mind as she lifted her head to look into his eyes. Her resolve to do only what a pirate captain had to in order to keep her ship and crew afloat hadn't included picking up strays. But now she felt she had, she had to admit.... there was something deep inside her cheering. A little swell of elation. As she looked into once dead eye's and saw instead hunger the swell transformed into a burst of heat that threatened to double her over as she sighed, arching into him.

When Morgan told the girls to take care of her, she'd maintained her quiet reverie even as she felt the two ladies pull her away. Hand's enfolded her body, slipping around her as her skin welcomed the touch of the two stranger's. She felt their lips and teeth running up down her neck and slipped her arms over their shoulder's so that they were holding her between them as Morgan ran his hands over her legs, removing the rest of her clothes......

Except the boots?

Morgan must like the boots, she thought. She'd have to remember that in the future.

As he went about his work Jess slipped her hands over the scalp's of the two ladies. Priss's hair welcomed her finger's as they slid into the lush folds. Shiana on the other hand cooed as Jess circled the tip of one of her head tentacles before taking a firmer grip and guiding her mouth to hers. Raising a leg so that Morgan could remove her legging's she parted from Shiana with a pant before turning to Priss to give her the same as she felt Shiana's mouth run up her neck to lick her earlobe.

Morgan was done. But Priss was holding onto her leg by the back of the knee as they stood with her pinned between them. finger's began to work in places where their dance cast magic and she felt Morgan's hands grip her face to look at him, she knew she was out of the storm and moving into the path of a hurricane. With the leg Priss gripped she motioned and managed to get it around Morgan above his hip and pulled him in, even as he captured her mouth with his.

From the side she could hear the two ladies mummering. "It's been awhile since we had a couple who knew what they were doing, hasn't it Miss Shiana".

"Yeeees. I think this will be one to remember Miss Priss".

She pulled up on her Starstreamer and parked it outside of Gullet’s and then walked to the joint like she owned the place. Once through the doors she removed her helmet. She was about 5’ 7” tall with stringy fire-engine red hair and wore black leather pants, black leather vest, and walked with authority. She carried had a Phalanx in a waist holster and a sawed-off shotgun in a magnetic leg holster. The latter she kept for close encounters. She was dirty, sweaty, and showed years of experience in the few lines on her face. Her deep brown eyes still had a deceptive innocence about them.

She walked up to the bar and ordered a drink. “Vodka! Vodka and a bottled water.” She shoved her credits toward Gullet.

“So, Irina, I thought you were headed off-world?” Gullet asked.

Irina set her helmet on the bar, ran her fingers through her stringy hair and shook her locks. “You know how it is, Gullet. F***ing assh***s from the DA stole some tools I need to fix my bike, and you know how expensive those things are.”

“I thought you had a security system.”

“Yeah, well, I do, but it’s only if they actually try to steal the f***ing thing,” she replied, “Looks like I’ll have to make some adjustments to keep the sh**s out of it. Know of any work around this place that’s not a lifelong contract? Or do I have to rob a f***ing bank?”

“Ha! You’d even try with our sheriff?” Gullet looked her in the eyes. “Yeah, I think you would, and for that your next drink is on me.”

“Now if I could get my tools back….”

Dahlia thought this might be important. She walked away from the bar and went upstairs to where the prostitutes took Jess and Morgan.

Anika called out, “Remember, don’t stare.”

Dahlia turned her head. “I grew up on Omega, remember?” She continued up the stairs.

Irina shook her head at Gullet. “That Asari is a snitch, isn’t she?”

“I don’t know. She and her group just got here,” Gullet replied, “All I know is that she hit a jackpot on the slots. Her group has been spending money.”

“Well she listened long enough to get some information, and now she heads upstairs to where I’m going to guess her group leaders are,” Irina said, “And that Asari b*tch with the Amazon sitting at the table? She thinks she’s hot sh*t. Who is she?”

Gullet wiped down the bar. “I don’t know. She came in with the group. She just keeps watching people.”

“Probably one of the underlings. Those Asari think they’re so great. I guess they’re alright though. They run 1/3 of the galaxy. Better than some f***ing Batarians.”

                                                            ***

Dahlia arrived at the room where Morgan and Jess were. She could hear them inside. Do I open the door or not? This is important. Or should I wait for the proper sounds? I think I’ll wait.

Vayne sat at the table with his eye closed, listening in on the conversations around him as he rested his hands on the table. The newcomer in the bar was talkative, that was good. Getting a beat on the locals was an important job in his field, and could usually spell the difference between life and death when working on a new colony. You came in, you figured out who was who and what was what, and then you decided if the risk of the job was worth the reward. Hearing the bar tender's exchange though, made him raise a brow.

'So the lawmans not liked much around here, huh? Not too out of place, given how most colonies feel about their independence and all...' Vayne thought to himself as he opened his eye, looking to naleena and anita, 'Still though, you usually see that sort of sentiment on human colonies. Not some multiracial construction project like this. Let's see what my comrades know.'

"So things got a little out of hand on omega..." he said, looking between the two with a bit of a smile, "Not really what I'm normally used to working these cases, but whatever. How have things been since we left? Run into any trouble while on this place?" he asked as he raised a brow, "Cause to me, it seems I have some catching up to do, to get up to speed and all. Keep myself from getting anymore shot up then I already have been." he said with a toothy grin, giving a light chuckle as he leaned back in his seat.

"Jokin aside though, are we still doing okay?" he asked, still smiling, though sounding like there was more concern in his voice this time, his eyes showing genuine interest in his question.

Anika leaned forward. "Well now...... I can't say we've seen much action on world here. It's just been the Deputy so far. As for Omega". Anika paused.

"Something happened there. The Captain came back to the ship and told me. Something about a Varren and a pyscho b*tch from hell and Morgan......". She looked up at the next level. "She said Morgan's been acting wierd. I can only imagine what Jess is doing to him up there".

Anika looked over at Vayne. "As for us here. We've been talking to some of the 'ladies'". She said, using her finger's to highlight the lady part. "They seem to know things about the town".

"Probably Moran's trying to get his shotgun back from the captain, the fun way..." vayne said simply, looking over to the bar as he thought to himself, "I'd heard about that part. That news was about the only reason I'm still breathing right about now." he commented, looking to the others as he stood up carefully, using the chair to steady himself.

"I'm going to want to hear about this deputy later on. Want to know anyone who might be causing trouble for us." he said as he began to walk to the bar, looking the bar tender up and down as he reached for his credit chit, "Got any local ales?" He asked as he rested an arm on the bar, feeling like he could use a drink.

After Vayne had passed the agitated batarian playing cards, the batarian said to his companion.  "I've had enough of paying for lousy luck today."  He got up and threw his hand down upon the table.  "You've certainly earned enough off me to clean up.  Somebody's got to work a real job around here."  With that, he made his way out of Gullet's saloon.

The batarian who was left watched, shrugged his shoulders, and picked up his winnings from the table.  He softly whistled a happy tune after his opponent was gone.

Irina saw and heard Vayne approach. She'd never seen any armor like that on a Krogan before. She liked Gullet and didn't have anything against Krogan, but Irina was a smart ass with a thick Aussie accent.

Irina slammed down her vodka and tapped her glass for a refill. "What the hell kind of tin can are you wearing, Krogan? I never seen anything like that before."

Naleena turned to Anika and smiled. "Looks like we've got a human with a big mouth in this joint."

Upstairs, the noise stopped. Dahlia tested cracked open the door. The prostitutes were getting dressed. Jess and Morgan were spooning on the bed, and the stench of what took place permeated the room. It wasn't anything that Dahlia hadn't seen or smelled before having been on Omega... or even done before.

Shiana saw the door crack open. "Come on in. Don't be shy. We was just leaving, hon."

Dahlia entered as the girls left the room.

"Now do you have something important? Did you come up to join in? Or did you want to watch, luv?" Stone asked.

"Actually I have something that might be kind of important," Dahlia acted a bit embarrassed.

"Well spit it out." Jess said.

"While you were up here, a red headed woman came in and sat down at the bar next to me. She started talking to Gullet about how some 'sh*ts from the DA stole some of her tools for her Starstreamer.'" Dahlia said, "From what I remember that's a very expensive bike. Not the top of the line model which is the Starscreamer, but it's very expensive nonetheless. She needs to get them back, and she's also looking for some work. She looks like she can handle herself. She has a funny accent, too. Like yours, Jess, but not quite right."

Vayne looked to the human, growling a bit with a frown. "This tin can is a old classic in armor. You should learn to respect old hunks of junk like this. Show you how lucky your generation is for fully ceramic non-tungsten plating." He said as he looks to gullet, "So how about that drink? Anything worth a few credits drinkable here?"
