"Yeah, tell me about it." Frank took one of the large pills, and swallowed it with a gulp of something he grabbed from the table. "I guess I should have contacted Naleena from the start..." He sighed. "Still, we got pretty damn far, considering. I'm just a civilian, and I nearly escaped with a scary 'terrorist'." He laughed.
Frank turned to Morgan. "I'll give you the details later, but right now, it's party time." Frank downed the rest of the bottle. Replacing the cap, he noticed it was red.
Well, f*ck.

"Frank!" Iole shouted in dismay as she saw the cup he had drunk out of. She put down whatever she was holding, grabbed him by the hand, and pulled him towards the nearest bathroom.

With several party goers looking on in surprise, Iole dragged Frank out of the common area, around a corner, and into the male levorotary. She threw open a stall door before shoving him in. Iole turned Frank around to face her, and briefly softened, a look of pity and compassion breaking across her golden eyed visage.
“I don’t think I’ve met anyone as accident prone as you, Frank. Except maybe Tallis. For what I’m about to do to you, I apologize up front. But I’m going to save you and whatever pants you are wearing, and you’ll thank me later. Maybe.” She glanced at his ribs while removing her white gloves and tossing them towards the sink. “Actually, this might hurt a whole lot. Do you have any questions for me?”
Frank opened his mouth to speak, but before he could say a word, Iole grabbed him by the back of his neck with one hand and jammed two fingers down his throat with the other. The reaction was instant. Iole spun Frank around and bent him forward as he vomited the contents of his stomach into the toilet.
“That’s it, let it out,”Iole encouraged. She shook her head sadly as Frank wretched. As he sounded like he was finishing, Iole kept his head down, reached in and pressed hard on his abdomen, causing Frank to instantly have another bout of tossing his stomach. It felt like it took forever to Frank for the contents of his innards to evacuate....

Irina finally decided to have something to eat. She walked back over to the table.
"Finally decided you were hungry? Or are you just socializing?" Mira asked.
"Well, actually a little of both. Looking at what's on the table here, I'd say about the only thing that's really safe to eat is that sauteed amonite, and we'll see how good the cook really is on this ship." Irina said.
"Yeah, that's about the only one I'd eat if I were you." Mira said.
"It's good good." Tallis said, and she handed Irina a bowl.
"Where's Iole? I saw her take off with that guy Frank." Irina asked.
"Oh him? He drank something that was meant for Turians and Quarians." Jenus said, "Iole took him to the lavatory. My guess is he's having a talk with ralph." Jenus said.
"Poor bastard." Irina laughed and she picked up a blue capped bottle.

"Red is dextro...good to know." Essul commented as he walked over towards the food table, looking about as he spotted the color coordinated sections of food and drink. He took a little bit of the food, unsure of what anything was per say, only that it was edible by non-dextros. Finally he grabbed himself a blue capped bottle, looking to the human and asari there as a gave a tilt to the left with his head, and left back to the space he'd been at with morgan and the others.

"How... how much is in there?" Frank managed to get out part of a laugh before ralphing another time. "Okay... I think I'm go--" He heaved again, but nothing came out. "Mission complete... Excellent work, commando." He reached up and flushed the toilet. "Shame. That stuff was actually pretty good."

Iole let Frank up. She took a fresh cloth from the sink, wet it, and wiped Frank’s face with it while feeling badly. She couldn’t hide the grimace on her face from what he had gone through, but relaxed as she finished helping him.
“Iole. Please. Don’t call me ‘commando’.” She hesitated with a bit of a smile, before she tossed the cloth, washed her hands and put her gloves back on. “Why don’t we get back to the party. I’ll put together a plate for you. There’s a knack I have in picking stuff out in the correctly colored containers. They taught it to me in training, I so swear it.”

Ugh. I feel like a child.
Frank rolled his eyes as Iole wiped his face.
Although I prefer this over plummeting to my death.
"That sounds great, Iole." Frank smiled. He picked his hat from the ground, dusting it off before placing it back on his head. "Thanks... for whatever that was. Hands down, that was the most fun I've had while vomiting." He gave her a thumbs up. "I'll head back in shortly, I just need a minute."
-----------------------------------------------------------------
After Iole had left, Frank washed his hands and arms off in the sink. He looked at himself in the mirror, and shook his head.
He took a deep breath. "Let's try this again."
Some turned to look as he entered the common area. Those who did either shook their heads, or snickered to themselves.
He shrugged his shoulders, and made his way back to the food table.

A call request from Typhin alerted Avan's omni-tool. It caught him off-guard, but he answered. The small figure of the turian casually stood on the hologram waiting to talk.
"Hello, Typhin. Is there something I can do for you?"
"Avan! We got a new bounty for you! This one's a little dicey, though not really, for your standards. I talked about it with the Broker and they agreed to raise the pay from the Riso to 10%. It's taking candy from a baby, and getting a pay raise for it."
Avan laughed. "That's appreciated Typhin, but I'm already on a mission. This one's going to occupy a lot of my time, so I won't be able to take anymore bounties in the near future."
"Awww, that's a shame. Ah well, we'll get someone else. Someone that's less skilled and might die, but, eh, it's whatever. You seem to be doing well, by the way. Anyway, good luck with...whatever it is someone's got you doing. Typhin out."
Avan smirked and looked down at himself to dust his suit off, then used his omni tool for a holographic mirror. As he looked at it, he carefully fixed his gelled hair to make it perfect. Once ready, he made a few more steps forward out of the door and arrived to the common room's entrance.
"Welcome! Welcome!" Tallis smiled at him.
"Well, thank you. I was just wondering about, and decided to have a look." He lied, having spent 20 minutes in preparation. "Lovely party, it looks like a lot of work was put into it."
"Thank you! Thank you. Are you hungry hungry?"
Avan giggled a bit. Irina walked to the pair.
"Sorry, she's..."
"What? No it's fine." He shrugged. "Hey, some species don't hear as well as others, even with technology these days. Better to repeat yourself so no one clocks you in the face. hahaha."
"I could just shoot them them." Tallis grinned.
"Or that alternative!" He happliy agreed.

Frank took a seat on one of the couches, with the plate Iole had prepared. He didn't recognize all of the food in front of him, but it didn't stop him from wolfing it all down. It wasn't often that he got to eat real food. Back with the Alliance, it was all rations, and before that, nutrient paste.
"Okay. Blue." Frank opened his eyes wide, and stared closely at his bottle, checking the color again, to be sure. "BLUE." He placed another pill on his tongue, and swallowed it with a swig of the clear liquid. He let out a satisfying burp, and set his plate aside, before laying his head back against the couch. He looked around the room, at all of the attendees. He recognized most, save for a few commandos, and the hooded woman who had just entered the room.
Looks like we're still missing a few. I know Jess is somewhere on the ship...
Frank leaned forward, elbows resting on his thighs. "Eteon." he mumbled to himself.
Wonder if she made it aboard?

Avan saw Valkara sitting in the central area. He didn't know much about her, but Naleena told him the names of everyone.
"Hello." He greeted her. "Valkara, right? My name's Avan. I believe we're on the same mission now, and might be under the same ship for a while."
"Oh, hi." Valkara acknowledged.
Avan felt awkward, but didn't want her to know. "So, are you enjoying yourself?"

Eteon opened the door and walked into the room, taking a look at the assortment of scattered items on the floor and shaking her head. "I see that you two are already on to your remodeling."
"And thanks." She inclined her head to the two humans. "I don't have a lot of clothes so I wound up mostly bringing armor aboard. It's standard wear on Turian ships for a soldier so..." She trailed off, uncertain if the topic would lead to questions about the purchase of further articles of clothing on Illium. Being dragged through Omega was weird enough looking for dresses of all things. "So, black track-like pants?" She said, slightly louder. She lifted her arm to show the articles wrapped around her upper arm. "I have everything else I need."

The last team of commandos aboard the Janiri as well as XO Tollan Linra, a salarian, who was taking the opportunity to stop by while Alana Selani was commanding. Mira pardoned herself to greet the newcomers while Tallis swept over to Dahlia, Morgan and Essul.
Tallis’ facial expressions were often emphasized by her natural arrangement of blue facial patterns. She was pleased at the way things had started. For a moment, she opened her mouth, as if ready to say something incredibly complex and important.
Instead, what came out was, “Very nice outfits. Very nice outfits.”
Tallis then smiled embarrassedly.
Morgan was slightly taken aback, and cast a questioning look at his own attire. It reminded him that he might have to speak to someone about the possibility of adjusting his store of casual clothes, which in return reminded him he definitely had to speak to someone in charge about something much more important. “Pardon me a moment.”
With a quick glance around, Morgan spotted Naleena and headed over to her. One of the commandos he hadn’t seen had just finished speaking with her and Morgan caught Naleena at a moment she wasn’t busy.
“Spectre, a pleasure to see you again. I wanted to talk to you about what you had said when we were on the Audron,” Morgan opened. “I know you offered to extend your assistance in going after the Medusa, but I wanted to ask if that is what you had in store next for the Janiri, after the stop at Illium.”

"Actually, if anything, I think the more time that passes in regard to the Medusa, the worse it will be." The side of Morgan's mouth twitched. "It's the nature of this woman. She's probably after something that goes beyond Jess, though I have no doubt it coincides with the revenge she's looking to inflict.
"You know I've dealt with her in the past, though nobody could pretend to be an expert on whatever goes on inside that mind."

Anika looked up as she clipped a set of earrings to her lobes. "Your in luck. I have something Jess picked up. She actually found a place that sells unirace clothing. They look to big but hit the stud and they'll conform to the person wearing them. It's trackwear but their brand new".
Jess shrugged. "What can I say. I look ahead".
"And waste money on clothes you'll probably never wear".
"Better to have something for the right occasion luv..... You look stunning by the way".
"You look like you just came back from offworld".
"Touche". Jess drawled as she clambered over the bed and went rummaging. A moment later she came up with some fabric still wrapped in it's packaging. "Here you go"! Jess tossed it towards Eteon. "Shame your not wearing the dress though luv. Anika could use the wing man".
Anika's jaw twitched but looked over at Eteon and drew in a deep breath. "Sure. Except you know she won't".
Jess, not to be defeated, knee walked off the bed towards the Turian. "Seriously luv. Why don't you like the dress? I know there's a..... adhered to fashion in Turian society but that's no reason to conform. I think you'd look good".

"Hey."
Frank looked up to see a pair of commandos standing over him, both with identical facial markings.
"Hi." He glanced between them.
"We're getting to know the new arrivals. Looks like you might have a story to tell." She touched above her eye, in reference to Frank's stitches. The second asari nodded quietly.
"I guess you could say that." Frank shrugged, and motioned for them to sit.
"I'm Lusia." One took a seat to his right.
"Asteria." The other to his left.
"Frank. Frank Eli." He held out a hand to both of them. "Your names sound awfully familiar..."
"Our mother named us after asari colony worlds." Lusia smiled.
"Ah. So, you're sisters, then?"
"Twins, actually." Asteria responded.
"You don't say?" Frank raised an eyebrow.
"Identical." Lusia looked to her sister. "Although I'm sure you'll find that our personalities are very different... once you get to know us."
I am so never getting off this ship.
"That, I am looking forward to." Frank nodded with a smile.
"So, Frank Eli. Tell us, how did you end up on the Janiri in the first place?"
"It's kind of a long story." He leaned back on the couch. "It all started in a bar on Ontarom. I had been drinking..."

Eteon snatched the pants out of the air and held them up by their waistband. She nodded to herself, finding them to be just about what she wanted before answering the question.
"Dresses just aren't my... Particular style?" She stated as a question before pulling at the knot which held her clothes to her arm. You wear dresses to formal events to enhance your 'femininity'. Not my thing. Though that was a 'is what it is' explanation so she didn't say that aloud. "But, I guess there is no particular reason. It's just an article I don't usually wear. Or haven't worn at all for that matter."
I suppose there are occasions for everything. But not today, she decided. "You can go on ahead if you like. I need to do up a dozen or so zippers."

Iole was fixing a plate for the XO and the asari from the terminus systems, when she spotted Frank with the twins across the room and overheard a conversation between the twins’ two commando teammates who were closer to her.
“Lool at Lusia and Asteria. They have the human cornered.”
“What is it about injuries that gets that kind of attention?”
“Oh, please, these are the twins we’re talking about,” the commando chuckled quietly.
“You’re right. Hey, there, you serving. Can you get me a plate of those human red oval things in bread?”
Iole mumbled something under her breath, turned up the music1 again with her omni-tool, and went to get another plate.

Jess nodded. "Use the room. Hit the lock on the way out. You ready luv"?
Anika stepped towards the door, all seven foot of regal and refinement. "Yes".
Jess grinned back at Eteon. "Catch you at the party". And with that, both left and headed for the common area.

Eteon chuckled to herself as she pulled off her slacks and shirt, then unzipped the sleeves which held the rest of her clothing. Those two are as energetic as always.
Taking her black hood she attached it to the shirt before slipping it on along with the track pants. She pulled the legs of the pants up over her knee spike, folding the material so that it wouldn't bunch, then grabbed her sleeves and zipped them onto the undershirt. When a full rotation had been made she turned the tab of the zipper straight down and used it to seal the side of her shirt. It was an awkward process, but with the body formation of a Turian modular clothing was a must, and getting both sleeves on only took Eteon a couple minutes. Interspersed with a bit of swearing.
Rolling her sleeves up to her elbows she pulled at the epaulettes to pull them back over her shoulders giving a bit more tone to her shirt. Finished with the big stuff she played around with the collar of her shirt until it was comfortable, then her boots, then her sleeves. She ignored her hood because it was just there for aesthetic more than anything.
Boots, tracks above the spike, fitted shirt to meet the tracks, mod-sleeves that thanks to the epaulettes reached from her neck down to her elbows, and a hood sitting at her back. It wasn't fancy, but for Eteon it was good enough. She didn't particularly want to be in a dress and between wearing a battle-worn tunic or casual wear this was much more likely to pass glancing social inspection.
Wait. As she walked to the door she looked up the the ceiling in thought as her mandibles clicked. When was the last time I was at a party?
She honestly couldn't remember. Probably graduation from Cabal training, but that was more ceremonial than anything. Basically just the Cabalim and some family, along with the mentor. I'm going to turn into Deidrus if I don't start getting into tune with the Aliens. She thought to herself with mock horror, locking the door as she exited into the hall.

"I put it down. Hard." Frank slammed his fist into his palm, making sure to make eye contact with each of the twins. "Hit at a bad angle, caught a few rocks, and rolled it over a few times." He reenacted his shuttle crash with his hand. "Had to bust my way out of it." He stomped his foot.
"One of the turians found me, and brought me back to the Audron. That's how I got involved with the train job..."

Eteon wandered into the common room to find that the meet-n-greet had already started. She could see the her aliens crewmates strewn about the room, along with an assortment of Asari and a Batarian she didn't recognize. Frank was apparently entertaining a couple Asari, Morgan was chatting with Naleena, and Vayne was eating... Meat.
Meat.
I haven't eaten anything in hours.
Meat.
Eteon started towards the food table, talons scratching against one another as she started to hope someone had left something out for the Turian.
