So glad to see something old on this new BSN - it's so confusing!  It's not very social either, as far asI can tell, we can't do status updates and see what everyone is up to.  As many of you probably know, I got married in November - yeay!!!  How's everyone else's long winter going??

Hi Hi, I am so lost with this new BSN (or what ever they call it now)  It's not really social over here.  Missed seeing what everyone post and pic and all.

Not doing too much this winter but to stay warm lol  and now waiting for spring to really kick in

I am going to try to get everyone back into here like old times.I am giving everyone mod privileges to invite people. So invite away .Also make whatever forum subject you want

 

A lot has been going on here with me. My mom is 57 and has Alzheimer's , She has also shut all of us out. Doesn't think anything is wrong with her . Also thinks we are trying to get rid of her and wants to go to her parents in Colorado. (her mum passed away 11 years ago and her father is my grampa who is downstairs.) . I have now become a home care provider who doesn't get paid .  I take care of my parents , my grampa and try to raise my son. Though I will say my sisters have been helpful . 

 

Have a ton of games I been trying out here and there

I'm so sorry to hear that, Bri - she is still very young.  I know how hard it is, I watched my mom take care of my gramps - it drained everything out of her.

I'm not to worried. I have friends that give me morale support and advice. I just keep trying to remain positive.

Ok , I am trying to get invites out to everyone on my friendslist . Please let me know if I have missed anyone.

It's a slow process ....cause I can't just go to my friendslist and invite everyone like I use to. I have Tori, Yankee, Bettak, Zaleen, Catspaw, etc etc etc ....if they accept the group invites.

Sorry to hear about your mom, Bri. My family went through that with my grandmother. Always important to have support. It's not easy, to put it mildly, and I have to hand it to you for taking in the responsibility.

I happened to catch your news on the old BSN friend page. It's wonderful news! Congrats to both of you

 

So sorry Bri. We had a few conversations about that awhile back, I'm sorry that she's gotten worse. That is such a difficult disease.

 

I'm still trying to build my house....the never-ending story, working a lot more and got my oldest graduated from college and into the big bad world. She is now an unemployed actor (I hope not for long). So yeah, we still support her.

 

Schratty, that bunny is the bomb!!! Sick cute!

Yeah , I just try to make it a day to day thing . Right now she is going thru a horrible phase . She has blocked out the last 37 years of her life and is living in some fantasy world . The things she remembers is baffling and if you try to correct her ......well if you're my dad you're a stupid ******* . I am now apparently her sister . She was never married and never had kids. Some days are good and some days are bad . I know my grampa is ready to put her in a home and my father, bless him, doesn't want to give up. 

 

It's rough. But hey , that's why I'm here ! To bring bad news and witty one liners !
