I love Anders rivalmance pro templar almost more than friendship myself. In fact that's my canon. I preferred Fenris rivaled as well....and Isabela. O_o guess I'm seeing a pattern here.

 

Didn't romance Merril...never will. A bit too...cute. She's super cute.

From what I understand, you can romance Fenris then when he breaks it off between... I think it's Act 2 and 3, you can then romance Anders. Apparently Anders then rubs Fenris's nose in the fact he lost out on Hawke.

They get into a bit of a tiff, as usual. Which is not all that surprising given they fight all the time. I found that just a bit tiring tbh.

In Act 3, Fenris asks if they are living together. Anders says "what's it to you" and Fenris says something about killing him if he hurts her. (LOL uhoh)

 

In act 2 Anders says that Fenris was an idiot to leave her/him, to which he responds that he was fast to replace him. Anders says that he loves her and Fenris has no idea what that means. Fenris responds that he shouldn't open his heart to him unless he wants him to rip it out.

I did the Anders romance on my first playthrough of DA2 and thought it was okay. That particular Hawke let him live. On my third attempt at the game with my snarky mage Indigo, I decided not to do any of the romances (except flirting with Varric) and was much happier. Of course she also let most of her companions die off if she didn't outright kill them...

I hope the romance options are not so...extreme in DAI? Idk, Alistair, Zevran, Kaidan...they were all "normal" to an extent. They felt like real normal relationships.  Anders and Fenris are just a bit too tied to the whole m v t, on top of just being extreme in their views themselves.

 

Oh and the fandoms sucked. Bad.

Right now I hate FedEx with a thousand suns' worth of burning rage. I ordered a replacement processor and after market heat sink. I paid for over night delivery. They f*cked up somewhere and now I won't get it until Friday and just kept going "sorry, nothing we can do"
