They did this to me with SamaraI know we're all assuming he's a love interest because he is a gorgeous human male with what looks like a lot of personality, but what if he isn't? Maybe he's the companion that came out prettier than specified and all this fanfare has the writers going, "Oh, no! They want him! Prepare the riot defenses!"

As for Mr. Mage not being a love interest? According to the wisdom and/or assumptions of the greater BSN, I will be unlikely to romance him anyway as I play mostly female characters but that does not stop me from admiring from afar! Or he may be the sole reason I finally finish a Dragon Age play through with a male character. (I do start them, I just never finish them) I also suspect he is going to make a great friend and companion either way.

I'm still kind of hoping he's bi, so that everyone gets a chance to stroke his moustache

The more fan art I see of this character, the more interesting he becomes to me. What I like most about him is that he doesn't look like a "traditional mage" (if that makes sense).

If he looks remotely the same in game or emotes the way he does in your drawings then I'll play any Inquisitor I have to in order to romance him on my first playthrough. This is why we need to know LIs before the game comes out, I need to plan

I'm bad at planning, no matter what it is. I can have a plan now for what class and race to pick etc, but that will probably all change when I'm starting up the game and work the character creator. I hope we get Companion trailers.

I had never even heard of DHMG until a couple days ago. Started reading this thread, and ended up reading it all the way through (which is rare for me).
Just from the information and speculation here, I will be shocked if he's not Dorian.
He's easily my most anticipated companion (and hopefully LI) now. Sorry Beardy Warden..
