God, I hope not.  I can't stand that trope and I really, really like what I see of DHMG and will be utterly disappointed if that's his character type.

I get more of a witty, suave, "thinks-he's-the-Maker's-gift" gentleman swashbuckler vibe, actually. With a hint of "doesn't-realize-how-absolutely-ridiculous-he-looks-when-he's-preening-like-that-but-somehow-is-still-charming-damn-the-gorgeous-twit".

(And by "get more of", I mean "set myself up for soul-crushing dissapointment by dreaming up headcanons where he has".)

Logically, DHMG seems like the most likely choice for a m/m romance, since Cullen seems likely for m/f, and Solas could be a non-human choice for either gender (of course, assuming 2/2/2), but I propose this instead: 

 

Males: m/f = Cullen, both = DHMG, m/m = Solas

Females: m/f = Cass, both = Sera, f/f = Scribbles

 

This way, either gender could have a non-human LI and that maker-blessed 'stache.

Yeah the stache would be nice, but I'm not digging the male inquisitors getting all companion LI's and the female ones only getting two. I'd trade a femquisitor/DHMG romance for a more even distribution of LI's.

Ah, you have a point... Could swap Cass and Scribbles, making one NPC LI for male inquisitors, and one for female.

So long as DHMG is even a tiny bit as amazing as he is in my headcanon, I shall be satisfied, even if my femquisitor can only admire him from afar.

I hope DHMG is a little more subtle than Zevran in some ways.  I don't think I could handle listening to Mr. Mustachio tell an old lady he wants to motorboat her rack.

Yeah, it might be nice to have someone like Zevran or Isabela, but without the promiscuity. It's possible to be mischievous and flirtatious and fun without defining oneself by how much one likes sex. I'm rather hoping that he skips the whole "over sexualized bisexual companion" thing.

Also, I agree that DHMG needs so be more subtle than Zev, though, if he's Dorian, his description does say that he's brazen. Still not quite certain what they mean by that. Zev is quite brazen, in his way.

I'm hoping it's more like he has an outspoken personality and lots of opinions and a fighting style that's less "stab them in the back" and more "EXPLOSIONS AND FIREWORKS!" I can see DHMG deflecting certain questions the way Zevran deflected Wynne with the magic bosom nonsense, but I can't see him feeling the need to be quite so over-the-top (like Zevran was to help shield himself from attachment and Crowesque treachery, and like Isabela was in part because that was the space she felt most at ease and useful). After all, if he was born into a magisterial tradition, he probably grew up wealthy and respected. I can see him being more self-possessed than either Zev or Isabela, and more...adept at navigating difficult conversations without regressing into a persona, but doing so anyway because it's just more entertaining to make the Enchanter think that a full set of restraints and a stretching rack are de rigueur in every magisterial bedchamber.

stitches suck after gettin hit with a puck, cause its usually right on top of a big bruise that has swollen after getting hit....  i was lucky though, played goalie most of career.

 

DHMG might not be as over the top as zev and isabella, but im pretty sure hes gonna be the sex character....  i really cant see anyone else besides maybe sera being that one
