My personal theory is that he is the mage Rhys. He generally fits physical description, was central to the events in Asunder and, having voted (albeit reluctantly) for Circle independence from the Chantry, would make a nice counterpart to the pro-Circle Vivienne. He knows Liliana and is almost a Dragon Age "legacy" of sorts through his connection with Wynne. Doubtful as a love interest though.

I just thought it contrasted nicely with his darker skin tone, that's all. Honestly, I just want him to have vibrant eyes, no matter the shade.
Last time I looked, his eyes were green (or maybe hazel). We don't really do the "vibrant" eye colors anymore, with Frostbite.

Maybe it's just me (plus the lighting isn't that great in the trailer) but DHMG looks like his had an olive tone to his skin (at least compared to Leliana), so lovely green/hazel eyes would definitely go.

Reminds me, I was thinking about how much I was looking forward to playing this game, getting the hang of how the new combat system works, getting to know the story and characters etc. And a thought hit me, I might even die before the game is out! The worst part of that notion was not getting to play, because priorities... So I decided I better drive more carefully, lest the fun would end too early.

I really hope for green. Hazel is fine, but haven't all of the male LI's have hazel or brown eyes so far?
Also, thanks for coming in and giving us this tidbit. Little things like this make me happy that the BSN is around!

Ander's was more of a gold color, but I've heard gold eyes described as hazel before, so basically yes. I'm hoping for a pale sort of green now.

Hazel is a type of eye colour that "changes" depending on the light and the dilation of the eye, can appear green, brown, grey, blue...
