It was awesome of Gaider to come in and confirm his eye color as green/hazel.

I really hope for green. Hazel is fine, but haven't all of the male LI's have hazel or brown eyes so far?
Yup. And it looks like they aren't stopping anytime soon (unless Solas is an exception).

Solas is supposedly Violet (similar to Felassan), but that's second hand information, I didn't see any direct references to this statement.

You can see the color of Solas's eyes in his screenshot. They're definitely blue/violet.
Also, I LOVE the idea of DHMG having green eyes! That's still that dark hair, light eyes combo that I love!
The entire game is still in pre-Alpha.
that's a tad worrisome

It's alpha as of today! Do you feel better now? >.>
I don't understand what these terms even mean. 'Alpha', 'Pre-Alpha'. They don't tell me if the game is on track to be released by the currently announced launch date.
It is. Alpha just means that they're no longer changing or adding things. Now they're finishing and polishing what they have so it looks as good as possible when we play it.
On the subject of DHMG, that means his hazel/green eyes are probably canon, as it's unlikely that they've changed something like that so close to Alpha. Yay!
When swooping ends badly.
Awesoooooooome!
That is amazing! How long did it take you to paint that?

Oh! Someone should put it in the Solas and Sera threads, too! (I don't know how.)

A three mage and one rogue party taking on a high dragon? Gangsta!
Not sure how it'll be like in DA:I, but it doesn't feel like it matters what team I use in da2. Not counting nightmare.

I love that they don't need no stinking tank!

http://en.wikipedia....Waterfall_model
Pre-Alpha means the game has not reached the Verification/Testing stage. This means they are still adding assets to the game, or at the very latest stages unit testing the final assets before moving fully into the testing phase.
Alpha means it is at the Testing phase no further assets are added to the game, it is considered functionally complete, assets are fixed and potentially expanded upon, but no new ones added without great cause. Alpha tests are characterized by being tested internally, by in house developers and quality assurance team members.
Beta is still the testing phase, but testers are now people no longer directly involved in the software development. This is often done using independent organizations whose sole job is to test software.
Note: the Waterfall model is never actually used in practice, I am simply referencing it because it is the easiest model for non-Software Engineers to understand.
In a real software development life cycle these categories overlap quite a bit. For example an iterative process (most common is Agile) contains a miniture testing phase in every sprint, where QA tests each story (unit of software functionality) before that story can be accepted by the Product Owner (Project Manager).

Holy damn that is lovely
That is fantastic artwork!
