Me too! I almost got the team right, (guessed the wrong class for the inquisitor) but that's all. Setting/ situation was wrong for me. Guess huge also meant dragon and not just the layer.
@ swaggerswag: Awesome picture mang, hope I can color/ background as well as you some day soon.

That's absolutely amazing, Swaggerswag. I like how DHMG is stroking the dragon.

Oh! Someone should put it in the Solas and Sera threads, too! (I don't know how.)
I posted it in the Sera thread.

- I use colour reference for all it's worth. I may know the colour scheme I want, but can't pick colours for the life of me without ref.
Thanks guys! =)

With the Halamshiral reveal, it looks like we can actually go to a masquerade. Looks like the DHMG/Viv dialogue someone wrote a while back is actually plausible. ![]()
If we actually see something similar in-game, I might just die of laughter.

I wonder though, it seems like areas will be unlocked as we go, and I'm just guessing here that companions will be a bit scattered, so perhaps we won't be able to attend the ball with every companion at disposal. Hope that's not the case.

I hope the intention is to unlock companions relatively early on.
(If DHMG is tied to the Venatori I expect him to pop up pretty early in the game, given that it seems the Venatori are one of the major enemy factions along with demons and the Red Templars.)

Agreed.
DA2 did a good job of getting everybody on board early on (other than Sebastian
) so I hope this continues.

That's fair game in my book. Well, thank you for the advice. I often have to pose or facial expression reference myself when drawing, but I failed to remember that one can find good color pallets out there to aid in the coloring aspect.

well, even in da 2 they dragged their feet on some, especially since you could go most of act 1 without getting fenris... plus only giving you acts 2 and 3 for sebastian was kind of a dick move

Then again Legion was a companion from one of the enemy factions(ignoring the Geth-Heretic thing since we didn't know that at the time) in the game and he didn't show up until near the end.

Dragon Age isn't Mass Effect, though - and the ME2 team already got a bit of criticism for leaving Legion so late.
I think with DHMG, too, he's not actually from the enemy faction. In my half-baked theory, he's working against them, and that's why he joins the Inquisition in the first place. I can't see a reason why that would mean we pick him up later in the game; on the contrary I think it means we'll get him earlier on. Introducing the Venatori and Dorian/DHMG at the same time does make sense.

They were such bro's man. Sharing and caring.
D1: Hey buddy, like your staff!
D2: Head up to Ollivanders, and we can have matching staffs, wouldn't that be great?
D1: Oh that is a marvellous idea my friend. Now if only the facial-
D2: No no, don't go there. This too fine to be messed with.

(Sorry, not sorry.)

I doubt they would leave some LIs out of a situation like a ball, since it's a prime opportunity for a bit of romancing. So Dorian's safe there, there's no way he's not an LI. It's possible that some of the others might miss out, but I hope not. I'd quite like a single Inquisitor to roll into the party with an unromanceable companion for amusing times, like I did with Shep and Wrex in ME3.

There is such talk about getting the opportunity to wear fancy dresses at the ball, I wonder if we can join in our fighting gear. Sticking out like an ugly sore thumb, receiving 100 rivalry with Vivienne.
Personally I'd think that be cool, I'm not expecting gta level of reaction to your actions in this game. But if we could, and the people around you would whisper amongst themselves in horror of this dreadful attire you've attended in. I would do it every time, dragging Iron Bull and Sera with me. I'll "daydream" about being able to use Sera like Dog,
Dog: "Find something?"
Sera: "Go steal something"

I would love it if my inquisitor/Sera had the options to react like Parker from Leverage at the ball- getting nervous, stabbing an important guest with a fork, and leaving via the balcony
It would amuse me.
I can imagine DHMG fitting in well at a ball, he looks very composed.
