I'm kind of hoping that the companions have their own, unique specialisations, like in DA2. I imagine Cullen is probably the one to talk to for Templar skills, though.

Same. I really liked that. "Artificer" Dagna probably teaches the Artificer specialization.

Besides, DHMG is clearly some sort of sex wizard.

It's possible Viv doesn't teach us anything, cause Solas as the Fade expert sounds more like a "Rift Mage", and I'm willing to bet Viv doesn't teach Necromancy.

Also, Knight Enchanter reads, "Among the Circles of Magi, only a few mages have the strength of will necessary to focus their energy inward. Wrapped in protective magics and wielding blades of arcane force, the Knight Enchanters are rare, but inspiring sights as they lead the charge into enemy ranks." Ergo, it sounds like KE is more of a Circle thing than a magister thing...then again, Tevinter has Circles too...

And the Circles under the White Divine only seme to teach passive magics. And, in all the art he has a spear and sword.

I'd go as high as forty.

And as low as his waist.

God I love you lmfao.

Me too, I feel like I can get away with writing dirtier things when he's posting in the same thread :P

And it would make some sort of sense if Ser Michel teaches the Champion spec.

I thought the Scribe Girl was a Chevalier because of her green and gold uniform. Or, do they wear purple and gold?

God, why isn't it October already???

To be honest, I wonder what the Rift Mage IS.... is it our healer? Do all mages get access to healing power? I dunno. Necromancy is self explanatory, and KE has been explained to us.

By the by, I meant that Dorian would fight like a KE, not necessarily act or call himself as one. The sword thing gave me that idea. (Plus I don't see him as a Necromancer. Because he is too pretty. I am biased.)

I think all mages will have access to healing abilities, hence the lack of specialization.

Rift mage is a spec that I believe manipulates local space and encompasses localized teleportation and other such magic. Perhaps it's innately connected to our Fade mark.

I know the yellow feather is kind of the chevalier symbol but I don't know about any uniform.  I'm not sure where right now but I believe someone said the three NPC advisers are wearing colors representing other factions already.

The companions could always have specializations that are similar to the Inquisitor's that differ slightly and have more personalized names.  For instance Solas could be something similar to a Rift Mage but his spec could be titled something else, maybe simply "Fade Expert" (yeah the creative juices were flowing for that one).

Yeah, I expect something similar to this.

Hmmm, perhaps Solas could be... "Dream Walker"

If Dorian is a Necromancer...."Life Bringer"?

I love these ideas!  They're very different yet still plausible interpretations of the specializations.

Maybe she's just their receptionist. Or accountant.

I could live with that. As long as she didn't partake in their Chevalier...things then I have no issues.

And what if the snakes just turn out to some kind of curlicue. I kind of like the Regalyan theory because we have no news on the new healer.

There probably won't be a dedicated healing mage this time. The health system is changing too much.

And what evidence is there for him being anyone other than Dorian? Aside from the visual cues like the dragon in the clothing, there is an entire bio that talks about a Tevinter magister companion :P
