Doesn't 2/4/2 me two heterosexuals (1 of each gender), four bisexuals (2 of each gender) and 2 homosexuals (1 of each gender)? Wouldn't that make it 3 male companions romance-able by women?

TECHNICALLY, we have no idea if Cullen is an NPC yet or not, he hasn't been confirmed as either yet. There's still a chance he's our third warrior, and Grey Warden the Unnamed is our captain of Military Strategy.

This would mean our npcs could be brought into combat and be outfitted with our choice of armor. Considering previously seen footage.

This argument has been shot down numerous times.  I don't feel like getting into it again and this thread isn't about Cullen and his sexuality.

 

About the LI's, I suspect that DHMG will be an LI.  I have a hard time thinking that they are going to have 8 LIs, so I suspect that DHMG will be either the bisexual or gay option.  I have a feeling that Cullen will be the straight or bisexual option and Solas will be whatever is left over.  Just a gut feeling though.

How would it be a bad move? Making Cullen a romance at all already seems like fan service. As an NPC his romance shouldn't be expected to take the place of a companion romance.

Which place? So far we got 4 companions romances in the previous games. 4 LI will be likely present in the party. Cullen took nobody's place. You're assuming that Bioware, with the increase of LI numbers HAS to make them all companions.
It'd be a bad move because people are expecting a full romance. If it was a minor romance, It'd be stupid to announce it beforehand without clarifying it isn't a full romance.
And I don't think It's fanservice at all, coming from someone who isn't that interested in male LI.

I'm really hoping that we get a "Meet him at E3" image for him.  Based on the one of Sera, I think that they are going to release several of them and they'll have a moniker, since Sera is "The Wild Card".  I wonder what DHMG's will be?

I'm not assuming anything, I'm saying that if people are expecting a full companion-like romance from an NPC just because BIoware said he was romanceable, maybe they are expecting too much. You don't think popular demand had anything to do with Bioware making Cullen romanceable?
