Seeing the anticipation today, my inner voice said "Ah, they are going to post Vivienne today aren't they." 
Had to laugh a little when I saw it.

So far she's had a cosplay costume and information, Follower Friday that included an interview with her writer and an in-universe letter from Vivienne, plus three or four screenshots and now this image and quote.

 

I know it sounds petty to complain, but I've been *pretty* dissatisfied with the way they're handling the character reveals and marketing.

While I'm not a massive "Dorian" fan, I'm really intrigued by him and was hoping for his reveal, or Cole. Not someone we've already had a tonne of info and screenshots of *SIGH*

I thought they were getting back on track with Blackwall, Sera, and Iron Bull this week, but this just threw a wrench into that for me.

Hmm. If they were still doing FF, we'd have got by the end of June three characters (April, May and June). They shown three new companions. It's possible they'll show those three only to 'even' the loss of FF.

Nah, they stated that the reason to cancel FF was that they didn't have enough time to Show everyone. They'll show them before launch.

When someone asked about character reveals Dave Hulegaard did talk about there being a well-planned timeline.

 

So yes, it could be weeks or months before they reveal the rest of the characters.

 

Since they're clearly announcing everybody again (including Vivienne), they've only really unveiled four companions.

 

There are more than enough that they can do a whole week some time later on.

Go on! Fight your good fight! And dang, I really hope you get more info because I'd like to know more about this character.

Advisor Reveal:  Leliana, Cullen, Scribe Girl (right before release)

 

Could make sense.  Although it would be awful......

I'm kinda bummed they essentially punted today (I love Vivienne, but that's not even a new shot of her   ), someone new would've made their not-Dorian-ness a bit easier to deal with.
