Seeing as non-companion has less contents, even David Gaider stated it in early threads, I don't think they make the straight option to be a non-companion, especially if we only have 1-1-1, so Cullen most likely bi. The other 2 options would likely be Nicolas Cage and Dorian. If there are 1-2-1 then Sasha Braus' distribution would be ideal for me.

With the recent information that Cullen has a huge story arc (there was a twitter about it a while ago) and the news that Leliana is apparently involved in quests outside the briefing room (primarily with the Venatori it looks like), I'd say its fairly likely that we'll end up with plenty of face time with npc advisors.

Did they? Can you show me a quote? Last time David Gaider stated that he doesn't like NPC romance that much due to them being less significant, but if they can make NPC to be more fulfilled, I wouldn't mind NPC romance then.

Yeah hopefully the devs will try to make them interesting in their own rights to give them more equal footing with the companions. I wasn't overly optimistic at first but I'm slowly creeping there XD

If I remember correctly, Allan himself doesn't involve with the development of the game or storyline, so I'm guessing it's just his impression, so it's basically your impression of his impression. I'm not saying you're wrong, but you could be reading too much into his posts.

Do you have a link to the quote where Gaider said NPC romances were inferior? It could be he meant the amount of effort put into them (thus less significant). The NPCs in DAI are clearly going to have influence on the plot so that probably won't be an issue.

I have been super, super, super not even thinking about that as an option because I don't want to break my own heart. It's been hard enough trying to steel myself for the thought that DHMG isn't into chicks. I have been failing pretty miserably at that.

I think i'm gonna have a heart attack before that demo. I wanna know all companions names and everything about them.

And Dorian he seems to be one of my most anticipated companions, he looks amazing plus he probably is from Tevinter so hell yeah!
