Tere will be no. Has to be disbalance- no party from mages. 5 warriors, 2 rogues, 2 mages (like in DAO) or 4 warriors, 3 rogues and 2 mages. I think secon is better.
huh

I hope Dramatic Hands Moustache Guy's stache is available for the CC.
Can you imagine the feats the Inq could achieve with that thing?
huh
ok well regardless of all of that I just find it a lot more straightforward to, when I see a mysterious guy who dresses like a mage and read a desription of a mage, assume they are the same dude, instead of bringing formulas and such into the mix
and also, from an artist perspective, if he's really a chevalier, they missed the boat
but yeah a healthy dose of skepticism is always called for when you're working with fragments of prerelease info and stuff

Give me one good bloody reason for a need for a lack of balance. There hasn't been an unbalanced party to really speak of since Origins.
Awakening:
Oghren and Justice = two warriors
Nate and Sigrun = 2 rogues
Velanna and Anders = 2 mages.
DA2
Varric and Isabella = 2 rogues. Sebastian does make 3 rogues, even still, that's only one extra.
Tallis would make 4, but she's a temporary character and therefore doesn't count.
Carver and Bethany are both gone by the end of Act 1, so I have discounted them. They won't be a deciding factor with your party make-up throughout most of the game.
Merril and Anders = 2 mages.
Fenris and Aveline = 2 warriors.
So, why a need to keep things unbalanced again? Other than your fixation on warriors? I'm looking forward to meet DHMG and I'm hoping he's a mage at this point.
Even though he was dlc, Seb technically does still count

I never discounted him, unlike Tallis, Bethany or Carver. He counts, but even then, it isn't a huge unbalance in the party. One extra rogue, which is a far cry from what Ladyofpayne wanted.
Edit: Modified my previous post to clarify what I meant.
Sound like our mustached friend much?
(snipped the spoilers)
I don't see it at all, to be honest. DHMG has scrolls and pouches and stuff - and he's basically wearing robes in the recent bits of concept art, not even light armour.
For all that the Masked Empire character you mentioned *can* fight in a variety of styles, his most iconic - and probably most preferred - method is in full plate armour with a sword and shield, which is nothing like how DHMG has been portrayed.

Some people see Baelish, but I see Remus and Sirius Black.
I get the feeling i'll like this guy though (regardless of the above).

I had a big long post a few pages back, which rambled and probably made no sense, on how DHMG looks like a painting of a famous French dandy who inspired Oscar Wilde to write Dorian Gray, and after a whole lot of crazy leaps of logic I think it's quite likely that this mage is Dorian from the survey.
(this portrait on the left is from 1897, btw)

thread has reached critical dandy mass
My eyes are playing tricks on me. I keep seeing him with a hair piece, but I guess that is his pinky, not a bald spot.

smh
it's gonna be like this
warriors: iron bull, cassandra, cullen, bearded warden
mages: vivienne, solas, DHMG
rogues: sera, varric
just trust me i'm psychic.
nah cullen isn't a companion.

Yes.
And any companion that inspires a thread to hit critical dandy mass is by far the best. Screw this "temper your expectations" bs: DHMG is Dorian and he will be the best companion and there will be lots and lots of awesome fanart featuring his flawless mustache.
I like the fact that most of the companions have unique hair (or lack thereof):
- DHMG with fabulous mustache
- Bearded Warden with epic beard
- Solas much bald wow mage
- Cassandra with her short hair (fits her personality just too well in my opinion!)
- Vivienne with shaven head under the Maleficent crown (which I like on her too), quite unique for a female companion before
...and of course Varric with his overly manly chest hair.

Gone are the days of your average jock haircuts, boring bobbed styles w/ braids, and straight hair pulled back into simple buns
Dragon Age: Inquisition is turning the style dial to 11

I am way ahead of you.

Well, allow me to indulge...
why are you not the lead concept artist? clearly BioWare has an artist they've been sleeping on...
I think your interpretation may overcompensating for something, Allan.
