I'm pretty positive Dorian will be available for s/s romance, but I'm really hoping he's gonna be available for females as well because I'd hate for my femquisitor to end up with Cullen (no offense)

Yeah... maybe he's got a cute romance buuutt his freaky obsession with MageWarden and his effed up repression freaks me out. He's a fantastic character, but romance? Eeehhhhh. Depends on what kind of character I create, though. Not sure what kind of route i'll take because (obv) don't know enough about the PC deets.

Huh, that interview does make me wonder about the characters Cassandra really doesn't along with. I can see Sera offended her sense of propriety, but I think her biggest problem could be with Dorian (or Cole/Solas), seeing as she's with the Orlesian Chantry and he's a Tevinter mage.

 

I'm really curious as to which companions he'll get along with, and which will dislike him.

Oh, not to worry, I figured as much. I just know that in some instances these things can fly out of proportions, with hell fire and plague and pestilence, when there truly was quite an innocent explanation.

Mmmmm. How about suave and charming on the outside, but endearingly shy (at first) if you try to romance him?

If any of the LIs are shy, they'll likely be in the "look but don't touch" category for me.

I wish I knew how to get interested in shy LIs. People seem to love them, but after a while I just feel too pushy if the PC keeps flirting with them. Weirdly, I even had a hard time with the *Isabela* romance, because it requires explicitly pushing that boundary of one night stand -> feelings. Merrill is also difficult, and Alistair has been, so far, impossible for me.

Now, I don't have as much of a problem with shy-but-clearly-interested, like Fenris. But if they brush off the first few flirts, my PC is gone.

Personally, I'm really looking foward to his interactions with Iron Bull. Qunari and Tevinter Mage ought to be entertaining.

I feel like he'll be suave and charming like Zevran but not nearly as lusty or morally gray. I imagined he'd be a wisecracker with a strong penchant for mischief and light chaos, but then he'd have a moral code and a love for his country that's so strong not even the Inquisitor can shake him out of. I don't think he'd be too difficult with others, even if he does choose to butt heads with them every once in a while for the hell of it. 

 

As a romance, he'll probably go along with all the light and cute flirting at first, but once it starts to get hot and heavy he might hesitate and back away. He wouldn't be the type to get too serious about anything that doesn't concern himself or his country... until the Inquisitor shows him the other things anyway.  

 

Those are just my wild guesses though. Take it with a grain of salt since I have almost no info to go on. XD

The more I see of Dorian, the more I want him to be available for my little elf lady inquisitor!
I was going to go with the flow LI wise, but the demo has me intrigued. I just hope he is available!

I don't know if I think he will be suave and charming or more serious and brooding (though not in a Fenris way, more of a tortured genius).
