I've always imagined Oberyn, and by always I mean since I saw the GoT tv show version of Oberyn. Charismatic, just, usually pretty amicable with most people he meets, but not above using foul play to accomplish his goals. Similar accent too, but that's just because I like that accent.

I could definitely support an Oberyn-esque Dorian. One of my favorite characters in season 4 - just behind Petyr and Arya. 

Honestly, now that I think about it, that's probably similar to how I viewed him - Charismatic, amicable, charming, somewhat rogueish, but with more gravitas than someone like Zev.

 

I very nearly cried at Oberyn's "I will be your champion" line, and later in that episode.... but for wholly different reasons.

I think Gaider wrote him , think he said he was writing two romances ...can't be Cole , and one is Cassandra.

And if I remember correctly he said in his blog he did something in Inquisition he always wanted to do but never had the opportunity before.

So I'm thinking m/m romance.

Indeed. I feel bad being disappointed... I shouldn't be because I can always make a male Inquisitor. I just tend to not play as a male if I have the opportunity not to.

Yeah... looking through Dorian's concepts, he was handsome, but he also had a quirkiness to him that defied traditional standards of beauty. The Dorian we saw in game... well let's just say "heartthrob" doesn't even begin to cover it.

 

I can see him being the character Gaider was referring to.

I personally love Tywin Lannister... he's such a conniving bastard but his little quips are priceless. Charles Dance is an acting god.

Of all the new 'followers' Dorian is the one who intrigues me the most. I've found that the mage characters tend to be the ones I like the most and Dorian seems to be conforming to the pattern. *Scuttles back into corner to lurk*

Certain things cannot be denied. 
Funny though, a few people figured that the tentacle thing on the tarot card was from a squid. I suppose that won't be revealed until release. So whether or not he can summon a squid into the bedroom, we won't know for sure until the 7th.

People keep mentioning the tarot cards, where are they seeing them? Have any of them been shown to us somewhere, or are people zooming in super close to the promotional picture of the Inquisitor's Edition? People keep mentioning the Dorian tarot card and I WANT TO SEE IT.

DEAR GOD THERE IS A TENTACLE. I haven't seen this before. I pre ordered the spiffy edition, so, yay! I get this! I'll lay it under my pillow and kiss it goodn-okay no that's creepy.
