What happened to the daily companion updates?!?
My best theory is that since there's still like, 3 months until the game comes out, they want to take their time.
Either that or they just don't love us enough.
If Dorian IS the m/m romance like we're all theorising, there's a good 80% chance he'll get an official reveal and a LOT more attention come GaymerX.
Seemed strange that we didn't get a Varric profile though.

I can wait on companion info, personally. I really just wish they'd get the Keep out as soon as possible myself. Hope its not right before release.

I stared long at my screen while I was painting him. And then I narrowed my eyes thinking, "SOMETHING IS MISSINg. THIS CANNOT BE. THIS DOESN'T FEEL LIKE DORIAN." And then I had to scrawl a temporary moustache on another layer just to soothe my brain.

I often work on many things at the same time, so if something is left out for a while I forget that I was ever working on it. I did that with one of my Cole portraits, which is sort of funny. "Forgot Cole."

That may be why they showed him in the demo, to introduce him before a reveal. That, or it was a polished area/scene compared to other potential ones.
But yeah, I think mayhaps they're still working hard on the companions and perhaps still tweaking elements so they don't want to showcase them all yet. In all the screen we've seen of Cole, for instance, he looks like a total muppet. I reckon his face parts haven't been sorted yet. Same with Scribbles. The war table screenshot, half of the faces look more detailed/glossed than the others.
