Many people found Sebastian attractive, then peeled off when he turned out to be so... Andrastian. I'll admit that he has a pleasant voice, but I've only been able to convince one Hawke to romance him, mainly to put her evil bloodmage butt on the Starkhaven throne. I assume she did daily blood rituals to make him fall for a maleficar, so it can hardly be termed a "romance" at all.
Pretty sure everyone in this thread gonna drop their panties when they meet Dorian before he utters a word.
It does irk me when people bring this point up that Blackwall shouldn't be the first, "proper" m/m BW romance because he's gonna die soon. He isn't the first, anyway.

I honestly don't mind it if Blackwall turns out to be the m/m LI. In fact I would love it as he is my "type" if he were a little younger
As far as his character goes, I love his personality and attitude towards his duty. I find it attractive in a man.
So yeah... Blackwall or Dorian is fine in my book.

If his personality is what I think, then he wouldn't allow himself to have a love interest because he'd care too much about whoever has mutual feelings for him and won't want to hurt him/her. And he will be able to resist, he's a man who knows his priorities. Kinda a person I hope I could be.

Not really. There's nothing inherently selfish about it. Not to mention selflessness is not always a good thing.

When someone like Blackwall has a very short life to live, he develops an ideal that committing and pursuing something he craves - love - only to inevitably break his partner's heart once he passes, then such is a selfish pursuit, because you don't know whoever you're committing to really does have the ability to move on, even if the person himself/herself claim they can. And sometimes some people find joy in knowing they're doing the right thing, in knowing they haven't hurt anyone, when seeing whoever they love be with someone who can actually be there for him/her for the rest of his/her life, it makes them happy instead of jealous. That's what I think anyway.
I'd be interested if Blackwall was the m/m option. I expect it to be Dorian, but Blackwall seems to be the other likely option. Solas, if a romance at all, will be het or bi (due to Sera being the lesbian option, 2 elves seems unlikely). Cullen, from his comments to F!Mages in Origins and lack of comments to M!Mages would seem to be straight. IB, if a romance, is almost certainly bisexual. Varric, who knows. I'm not sure if he will be at all, regardless of how much of a fan base he has, and given his history is clearly into woman (and thus bisexual at most).
That leaves Dorian and Blackwall. Dorian seems like the safer option, since he's smokin' hot and would appeal to the broadest demographic (which I assume will consist mostly of gay men and female slash fans). Blackwall is the bear, however, which as far as I know hasn't really been represented at all in Bioware games, and at least not in DA ones. Nonetheless, as the big, burly warrior he overlaps with IB, and since IB is almost definitely a/the bi male option, I think its plausible Blackwall isn't a romance at all.
Which means the m/m option is Dorian, maybe, probably. Unless they throw a curve-ball and it turns out to be Cullen.

It seems to me that so much of the speculation also rests on some assumptions from previous games ("there'll be a female mage LI", "elves are always [X]", etc), even though we have no idea whether that will still hold true for DA:I - and in some respects, the devs have made a point of saying they want to try new things as far as romance goes.
They probably won't be able to incorporate all the previous "Dragon Age Romance Tropes" even if they wanted to. And they've shown that they are moving past those by having Cassandra ( 
) as their first Female Warrior LI in a DA game, and of course by having exclusively s/s romance options. (Anyways, I wonder what the rest of these "new things" are.)
I really have no idea what race/class to choose for a potential femquisitor/Dorian playthrough... Maybe Female Qunari Warrior.
Anyways, back to the D, I think I'm gonna go with a Female Dwarven Warrior/Dorian instead... She'll have long-ish red hair and either green or grey eyes. She'll be tough and try to protect Dorian all the time. They'll probably bicker and argue about stuff too.
Anyways I'll just wait and see what his personality really is like.

Well, like others said, speculation fills the time, and quite frankly, we're all kinda bored. We've been thriving off pure speculation for the past 3 and a half years, with a few big spikes of information every couple of months.
