To me, Karin's tweet about 'trying' to romance Iron Bull sounded more like he could be race gated. I mean, it could go either way. At this point, we have: Cullen (not gay), Varric (not gay), Iron Bull (not gay), and Cole (out of the equation).
This would leave us with Blackwall, Solas, or Dorian as m/m only. After the reveal about Sera, I would find it difficult to believe that we don't have an exclusive same-sex romanceable male companion.
Yeah, out of that list, I really hope it's him. Solas seems more...asexual (and creepy). And Blackwall will die soon since he's a Grey Warden. That'd be...a short relationship.
Plus, with a name like Dorian (who, let's face it, is most likely named after Dorian Gray) kind of eludes to his potentially being a gay LI. That novel (and I mean the unedited novel) apparently has a lot of gay content as well.

Dorian Gray was bisexual if I recall but yeah, I can see Dorian P being the m/m. I was wondering if Tevinter society is more accepting of non-heterosexual orientations as well (though I guess orientation isn't an issue in the verse of the games?? Not sure, not a scholar.) The sooner we find out that, the better. Then the reactions will have months to cool off.

There was an interview with Cameron a few days ago that seemed to strongly suggest that this quote was talking about Morrigan, actually. He basically confirmed that Morrigan joins the Inquisition, and that her personality clashes with Vivienne because they're polar opposites.
Yeah, but the question was about "fellow companions". Unless they meant companion as something other than party member.

Looks like Count Montesquiou, who was posted many pages ago in this thread also had connection to a peacock (that is if Dorian is still Pavus) in a few instances and wrote a poem about them. I really want Dorian to have a dandy vibe, maybe frivolous, oh I don't know.
Too many cute gents with silly mustaches!
Can't wait until I run my mage-extravaganza character and walk into places with Dorian and Vivienne. It will be a travelling fashion show.

I was surprised when I heard his voice because it sounded different from what little you can hear in the demo. But seriously, I applaud his work. The strain he has to put on his muscles in order to make his voice like that is simply unimaginable.
I sort of hope his normal voice is used for the American Male inquisitor voice. They probably won't, but hey...

Rather than anticipating his sexuality based on his looks or perceived character, I am going on what that Dev said about the problems associated with having a character available to all races viz a viz the number of cinematics required. If you assume that there will be one male and one female heterosexual romance but available to all races and that the male romance is Cullen, then I think you are left with Dorian being either a gay romance but available to all races (I'm assuming the same is the case with Sera) or a bisexual romance but race gated to humans/elves. Alternatively he is one of only two bisexual romances that is available to all races.
Otherwise the number of cinematics required would be too unwieldy. I personally think they will opt for have more race-gated bisexual romances. So you'd have Iron Bull restricted to qunari, Solar restricted to humans/elves and possibly Varric restricted to dwarfs. That would cover as many bases as possible.
However, that's assuming that there is a gay male option available to all. Knock that out and you could have Dorian as bisexual human or human/elf only.
Let's hope they issue that Chart David Gaider was talking about before too long and put everyone out of the misery.
