Dorians name and a demo with him talking  way before Coles info on the site, not to mention Solas still has little info then him(heck we don't even know what he sounds like) and Scribbles who's name has not even been announced.

On another note, I am hurting for more info on Dorian. And Scribbles. I'm a greedy, greedy fan, I am. (Though I'm not really one to talk because I am pretty much in love with every companion and adviser except for Cullen, so I'm happy with any info I can get on anybody).

Since we don't know the extent of Dorian's disdain for Tevinter society, I think it could go either way. Maybe he disapproves of pacts with demons and sacrificial blood magic. Maybe he just wants to overturn the corrupt magocracy in favor of a more egalitarian society free of slavery. Maybe he is okay with fade spirits because he understands they aren't malevolent, but isn't quite sure WHAT Cole is and wants to know.

My point is, I'm also looking forward to his interaction with Cole, whatever it ends up being. I'm half expecting him and Solas to occasionally start poking at him in fascination, like "If we could just study you for a couple days..." and the Inquisitor just glaring them down until they stop and sheepishly back away.

He didn't say anything of the sort, whether he was implying it, is something you cannot tell from a comment. He could simply mean that other companions had way less info about them (Cole & Solas) compared to Dorian, which is a fact, and that's why we didn't get our Dorian profile yet. No need to take things personally, we're all in the same boat here

I didn't take it personally, I was just surprised at the response. Also we have more info on Cole now, and let's not forget that Cole already has content in Asunder (he was a main character there). Thinking about it, Cole had more content than most of the companions due to the book.

I think Dorian will likely be alright with Cole. I think he'll have a more lenient view of spirits. Somehow, I imagine Tevinter is more in line with the way Merrill sees spirits/demons as all just individuals of another race that can be dealt with like people, for better or worse. I think he will be alright with Cole on the basis that Cole has good intentions and isn't malicious. We'll see, though.

I keep wondering about if the mages are going to pester Cole and poke him. Unfortunately with my sense of humor I keep thinking the dog scenes in DAO, lol, which I know won't be the case! Dorian poking him with a stick or something then Cole cuts his mustache ends off nooo

Does this mean I'm not alone in my desire of putting Cole in a plaid shirt, patch pant and vest, and use that hat to dress him up as the scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz. I know he 16 to 18 years old, but he is still a little kid to me.

Does this mean I'm not alone in my desire of putting Cole in a plaid shirt, patch pant and vest, and use that hat to dress him up as the scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz. I know he 16 to 18 years old, but he is still a little kid to me. 

Will we dress Blackwall in head to toe armor? And have Solas have a huge fur coat that gives him a mane look around his neck?
