The DA social media re-revealed the Iron Bull voice actor video, for anyone who missed it. That's likely the only thing that's gonna happen today.

A re-reveal? That's a THING? They've spoiled us with these daily updates.
Good news is that we are less than four months out. We are so close! It's pretty cool to see how far we have come.
I remember E3 last year , when we thought the game was so close...and then...the main DAI info was the fact the game has been pushed back a year. ![]()
Good times.
I have reached a state of calm, which is surprising because usually I am hungry for any scrap of information I can get. I know he'll get his proper reveal sooner or later, and it will please me (and/or possibly break my poor dwarf girl's heart) (although if she gets to have Varric, the heartbreak will be extremely brief). My disappointment today was more "aw, but I already saw that :(" than "RARGH," so I guess the fact they've been putting out info at a decent pace since E3 has mellowed me. I mean ****, if they had new stuff to say about Vivienne, I'd be okay with that too!
104 days to go till October 7th! I remember when it was over 200, aaah bad times
It's not as if marketing has everything ready to go for every character and is flinging darts at the pictures, trying to decide what to show and what to hide. Many things need to come together from various departments in order to show something publicly--the art has to be 100% ready, various managers need to agree on the particular screenshot or the quotes or the schedule, things need to be written and edited, etc... all by people who are in the middle of heavy crunch.
They're well aware you guys want to know everything now. As soon as they can, they'll put stuff up.
Got the impression they were just upset with how much anticipation and hope we get out of interpretations made, only to see it fall short, rather than as a stab at the marketing folk.
I might be off, but I do think most people here are aware that there is a good reason for it all, rather than BW wanting to torture their fans.
We're just shooting ourselves in the foot with hype and hope.
Dorian, Dorian, where for art thou Dorian.
Ah, my magister boyfriend.

Thank you for this explanation, it all make sense now.

I guess my question is why introduce characters when the whole isn't ready? Or introduce follower friday when only three or four were ready at the time? Of course, this sounds like I'm being harsh but I'm not trying to be. I'm genuinely curious why they thought it would have been a good marketing strategy.
I'd have been fine with no information from the past few months - if this allows them to get everything in order. I'm not a fan of the sporadic marketing. But that's just my two cents. Whatever is easiest for you guys while still providing the community the information they're craving for.
Or, you know, if it means you guys get more of the game finished than working on getting character information out there, I'm fine with that too.
I just can't wait to learn more about him. We know some, but I'm curious about how he joins the Inquisition/why

You think that's surprising just check out Allan's "sneak peak" of Dorian over in the twitter thread.

Dragon Age fans - what do you want to see next from us, post-E3? #UnscientificPoll
I've said it before and we all know why - they haven't polished things up enough on all the companions to reveal them. Remember Muppet Cole? Blackwall looks like he might need some work done, too. That is the only logical reason as to why the, "companion" trailer had 3 characters in it and why Scribbles and Solas have no info save a couple photos.
eeeddeeet: Oops, didn't see DG posted that...

Maybe they're still trying to decide which concept art hair to give Solas. =p
Dorian let Solas borrow his livelihood for the magazine article.
I just realized... are his ears CROOKED?
God damn. Someone posted a side by side of Nicolas Cage and Solas..it's all I see now. I hope to god his voice sounds nothing like NC.
Yeah, Solas will forever be associated with Nicholas Cage in my mind. I think the resemblance is absolutely uncanny.
