Do you guys think his cockiness will come off as arrogance?  I mean, it'd be unfair if they made him 100% perfect and lovable in every way.

Getting a Tevinter citizen and having him be morally uptight and stand against the ways of countries sounds like the most boring possible thing they could have done with that type of character.

 

I think it is literally the most interesting thing they could do with that character.

 

Dorian is a walking affront to everything that Tevinter stands for - he opposes its politics, its traditions and probably parts of his own family. He's an exile who by rights should be powerful in his own country, but refuses to accept that power.

 

That's a fascinating basis for a character.

He's... okay. Nothing really to write home about, IMO. Let's just say that before seeing these images, I desperately wanted him to be m/m, now, I wouldn't mind him being bi and Solas being m/m.

I see Vivienne's arrogance as being cold and a bit judgmental.  Dorian seems... hotter... to me >.>  I could see his arrogance as more of a personal thing, like a kid who does really well in high school and thinks he's hot ****, then goes to college and realizes there are a lot of other really smart people out there.

 

Would Sera and Dorian get along because they both take pride in being different?

Sera doesn't like people who got power easily , Dorian was born a mage in a powerful Tevinter familly.
