The same sex male companion is now narrowed down between Solas and Dorian now. Either one will make me a happy guy.

Unless of course, the gay character doesn't actually exist. Though that would reinforce the idea that male homosexuality = lowest common denominator.

What makes you think it's narrowed down to that? I suppose Varric is out and IB sounds bi, but basically anyone else is still on the table.

Because it makes him sound too vain in my opinion. The first part was nice, but the second part ruined it for me. I mean, the VA may be able to make it endearing like how Robert Downey Jr. made Tony Stark vain yet still awesome, but I don't get the feeling it will work nearly as well. 

 

I like the vain part. Its a nice change.

 

It will also most likely create fun banter and dialogue.

He's arrogant and kinda self absorbed about hisl ooks, that's good. If he was just a moral I WANT TO SAVE MY COUNTRY with no other aspects, he would be a horrible character.
