His hairstyle reeally bugging me from the beginning, could not put my finger what it is. I guess it is shaved sides. Is it just me? Really wish that he has full hair now.

I think its fine.

 

A lot of bad people have had a lot of different hairstyles. Many of them copied these styles from famous people of the time anyway.

That is simply an undercut you see it all the time as it's a very popular hairstyle right now. The picture is merely a few years old as well.

I had one for the past few years, very comfortable as they're easy to arrange. Switched to the one side shoven trend recently.
