That's probably going to be a little more insulting to Vivienne, I have to say.

Why's that?

Oh yeah, that's the way it struck me too. Now I have to justify having three mages in the party...damn.

We'll see. If not, I definitely want a chance to go on the same rant in-game.

I can't get the mental image out of my head of a Solas-Dorian-Vivienne party, with Vivienne and Dorian having the time of their life getting making fun of Solas' outfit, who just glares the Inquisitor, and meanwhile they're getting defensive ("What? Don't look at me like that! I-I just really wanted my full-mage party!") while they're internally thinking 'I have made a terrible terrible mistake' and regretting their life and their choices.

What, no chance for the Inquisitor to flare into rage? I like that option far more...

That, too, is an possible option! I just, uh, didn't think it was as funny as the mental image of the Inquisitor getting timid under Solas' intimidating glare. And because "I have made a terrible mistake I fucked up and regret everything" is a very common emotion among people who play video games, and probably especially strong in people who play Bioware video games and especially people who play Bioware video games for the first time, and since the Inquisitor is the PC who we make these decisions that we regret for... yeah. Kind of a super meta silly joke there.

Forgive the sidenote, but I wanted to compliment you on your Sylvanas Windrunner avatar.  She was, to me, the only strong female character left in WoW after the events of Cataclysm that didn't go extremely wishy-washy and indecisive all of the place.

Such as my former favorite WoW character, Jania Proudmoore.

I feel your pain, only I've been trying to justify having four rogues in the party (me plus Varric, Cole and Sera.)  However, Dorian's personality alone is motivating me to add him into the party and replacing Cole.

Yes, fall for that magister!

Oh, thank you. Unfortunately, her strength hasn't been exactly well-used as of late... I frankly have no idea what Blizzard wants to do with her.

So you do not think that Dorian will do anything deserving of my prior rage, then?

Haha, well my Cadash Quizzy isn't going to feel romantic towards him, and not because he's gay.  My dwarf isn't going to be attracted at all to humans or elves, which I know may leave me out of a romance.  That's something I'm willing to risk.

My future male Elf Quizzy is going to be a different matter. ;)  However, that's close to a year out; the game needs to come out first, then I want to play as my lady Cadash and see the story through my favorite race's eyes.

Though depending on the inquisitor, they could be sympathetic, or join the crowed and continue to make solas's life more difficult ultimately gaining +100 rival pointsXD

Possibly, but I have no clue. To be honest, we are all taking stabs in the dark about each character's personality. I do think he'd make fun of Sera and Solas's clothing options, but I don't think it's meant to be malicious, which is what makes the difference for me.

I think they wrote themselves into a corner with her.  Speaking of which, did you hear about Blizzard's comments about better representation of LGBTQ and woman characters for WoW?  They said flat out that they aren't concerning themselves with that and "most of the guys that write for WoW read comics growing up, so it's the way things just are." Nice way to throw all male comic book readers into one unfortunate stereotype.

Meanwhile, they continually marginalize female characters and dress them in increasingly skimpy ways.  I know of a lot of women that could tell long before that recent interview that Blizzard could care less about the harassment complaints.  That was one of the biggest reasons why I stopped playing over a year ago.

Sorry for the side tangent, but they used to be one of my favorite companies.

Then I'd try to point the issue out in a calmer manner. Although I do kind of, at some point, want a chance to cut loose with sheer fury on something. Maybe Vivienne.

There are... several ways in which that makes no sense. I would have had material for even more rage then I'd been exulting in today thus far, but I stopped playing WoW a while back and it's no longer as sharp as it might have been.

Trust me, if it ever got to serious harassment, I'd just fireball the offender in the face, no questions asked.

I'm just glad that BioWare isn't Blizzard and I'll leave it at that.  ;)

Apparently, Matt Rhodes dubbed the team Vivienne/Sera/Dorian 'don't make me turn this Inquisition over' as well  (the other was Cole/Cassandra/Sera).
If I have to guess, it's for the relationship between Sera and Vivienne. Though it Could be possible that she doesn't like Dorian as well.

So I went back to Gaider's interview on Dorian and I find the part about Dorian and Iron Bull interesting. Is it possible there could be tension or is what has been said about him imply differently?

It seems like Iron Bull is too lax to argue, but maybe him still holding to the qun will make this likely.

I think the opposite. A magister and a qunari would generally hate each other, but since they're not your typical magister or qunari, their relationship will be different from the normal one.
Granted, there might be tension if they talk about the relationship between Tevinter and the Qun.

Who knows, maybe Dorian and IB will get together and start an unholy alliance between the Qun and the Imperium to invade the rest of Thedas .

Sera doesn't like nobles or complicated things. In other word, Dorian is probably everything Sera doesn't like.

Dorian isn't your typical Noble though, and he's trying to change Tevinter. And Luke's interview mentioned that she appreciates people trying.

I'm thinking at first , it's Dorian who's goingto well tease the Bull.

I can imagine he has no respect for the Qun , but since they have stuff in common...they're leading a life very different from what their people would approve...I think they are going to be strange friends.

I think they will question each others goal and motivation...

Dorian wants to change his country , but it sounds a bit crazy.

I don't think the Iron Bull wants to change the Qun , but his current lifestyle also would make him a pariah.
