Your hope is not going to be dashed this time!
Cheer up!
Well maybe if you keep doubting you'll be happier when you'll get the good news.

The entire concept of bros is mystifying to me.
(And if anyone tries to draw Dorian in a backwards baseball cap I will probably kick something)
but bro with dorian is everything I want (+scribbles LI) ;-;
+ I'd finally be bro with someone who's close to my type, contrary to popular belief there are guys (or maybe just me) who would rather be with someone who's creative, charming and won't talk all day about beer, sports and women.

OK, but I still don't get why that works for the team-up?

I think Sera, The Iron Bull , and Dorian are very impulsive.
Sera is the type of girl , if her hair tickles her ear , she stop and cut her hair with a dagger.
The Iron Bull overdo everything.
And well Dorian just left his entire life behind and his country to chase after a bunch of magisters who are up to no good.
When they do something , they all do it BIG.
So I think they're going to be fun.

If Dorian is a necromancer I wander what his skill set will be. I know we'll get some kind of corpse summon. What number of summons do you think we can have once? I could see him with some kind of A.O.E spell that gives him a health or manna boost for the dead in one spot. Maybe, some kind of revive or health drain spell. I could also see the black cloud spell in DAO (sorry can't remember the name) making a come back. What do you think his skill will be like?
I'm also curious about that. From the interview, it sounds like Dorian specializes in Death and Spirit, so maybe some evolved/upgraded spells from the spirit school could be in order. Maybe the entropy school as well.
An Entropy+Spirit+Arcane Warrior build was my favorite mage build for DAO. I'll be so overwhelmed with feelings if I can do something similar to that again!

The interview also mentioned elemental spells...and there is a screenshot were he is casting lighting.

It is going to fun to see he's skill play out. The Spirit and Entropy schools are passive, but key to any mage build. I think it will be fun to see how summoning is going to play out. If Dorian gets and summon and the Inquisitor gets a dog summon we could be looking at our first four plus party.

Hmm, yeah, I had forgotten about that, though I think elemental spells will be available to all of our mages. Necromancy, I think, is an evolved combination of the Spirit and the Entropy schools. I think there's a whole group of powerful mages in Nevarra who have dedicated their lives to it.

I think they said we won't have a mabari this time around. Don't know about pets/war-pets in general, but I sort of think that mounts have replaced them.
(And I'm creepy, but I loved my undead summon in DAO to bits. I nicknamed him Shaun, and I would be so pissed if he "died". I hope I can summon one again in DA I.)

Indeed. Samara
.
I'm still not over Samara, but I took comfort in her becoming my femshep's hot space guru grandma. I sense Dorian wouldn't fill that role as well with my Inquisitor...

Hmm, nice! I need to actually get down to reading WoT properly, rather than staring at all the pretty pictures and only skimming the texts! Anyways, I think there's a concept art of a Tevene mage in there that is wearing robes that have some similarity to that of Alexius.
Speaking of whom, do you guys think that Alexius and the Venatori have maybe somehow caused the whole Breach thing?! There's this video GamerMD83 has done, in which she talks about the demo they showed behind the closed door at E3. And she says that Alexius says something about the Elder One's (or some such) coming. And I'm reminded of that prophecy of Sandal's, in which he says something like "When He rises, everyone will see". And then in the Digiexpo demo, the Venatori Conjurer yells something like "He will rise!" Maybe that's what Dorian is trying to stop? Maybe he's trying to stop whoever this Elder One person is from assuming power/entering the world via the Breach/whatever?!

Probably.
It seems Leliana is also pretty pissed at Dorian.
So ...maybe some Tevinter dudes are responsible for the BOOM at the peace talk.
Or maybe people think that they are , because well Magisters have a reputation when it comes to big magical catastrophe.
But it's someone else.
And Dorian is just trying to prove Tevinter is innocent about the Breach , and to keep the Venatori/Tevinter mages from doing something really stupid.

On top of that, I wonder if the Venatori are a well known cult in Tevinter. We did have an image of one of their gladiators in the World of Thedas.

Hmm, yeah. But he might be wrong too. Anyways, I think this Elder One, whoever he (or she) is, is probably related to that mysterious person who appears at the end of The Masked Empire.

I think that it's entirely possible. Maybe we'll find him in the Western Approach, too? In the Digiecpo demo, they said something about the Venatori digging about in the sands for something, though I might be wrong.
I also wonder if the Venatori can be related to Aurelian Titus from the comics...

Okay, this will probably spoil stuff from previous games, so be warned:
I remember this and this concept art (look at the symbol on the doors), the second one of which had an accompanying phrase: "The Old Gods will call to you, from their ancient prisons will they sing". What if the Venatori are trying to find another of the Old Gods. What if they want to do what the Architect tried to do and make a disciple out of him/it? And then there's Corypheus, and the Grey Wardens, and... and...
