Okay, this will probably spoil stuff from previous games, so be warned:
I remember this and this concept art (look at the symbol on the doors), the second one of which had an accompanying phrase: "The Old Gods will call to you, from their ancient prisons will they sing". What if the Venatori are trying to find another of the Old Gods. What if they want to do what the Architect tried to do and make a disciple out of him/it? And then there's Corypheus, and the Grey Wardens, and... and...
I'm pretty excited about those strange doors!
So many possibilities.
If Dorian has some unknown Tevinter lore about Old gods , and the magisters trip to the Golden city...Oh joy!

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD
THOSE DOORS!!!!!!!!!
I admit I still think it's a bit odd any humans could find an old god before the Darkspawn do. They have sheer numbers on their side and they live underground.
Although if they go after the Old Gods in a specific order that would make sense. They're all headed toward one specific one while the humans look for another.
otp: mustache ride
I heard somewhere that the wardens already know where the old gods are, is that confirmed? It would make sense for them, since they've been generally organized for generations and the darkspawn are only really organized during blights. I wonder if this could relate to why we're fighting wardens.

Hmm, I remember there were speculations once that each of the Old Gods were imprisoned under an ancient Tevinter fortress. For example, Urthemiel was probably buried under Ostagar, and Andoral was probably under Andoral's Reach, etc. So one of the remaining Old Gods can be imprisoned underneath Adamant Fortress...

I don't know about that... The Architect was able to reach Urthemiel before the rest of the Darkspawn... And the Venatori have powerful magic at their command, so maybe they can locate it before the Darkspawn... Though I like your theory very much!

OMG, you're right, I remember that too!
Heh, what if we find Dorian while he is attempting to steal this information from the Wardens?!

Yeah, the Wardens know where they are, but only the most senior members of their order know their precise locations. Perhaps Blackwall knows as well.
True the architect found it before the darkspawn, but at that point would other darkspawn attack him? He could just walk to the front of the horde that was headed to the Old God, and not be attacked like the humans trying t get through the darkspawn would
I just realized that while Iron Bull and Dorian are my favorite prospective LIs, if they get together without my Quizzie romancing either of them I'll feel weird and guilty each time I do. Is that weird? I didn't feel that way any of the many, many times I romanced Garrus, and I genuinely like Tali.
It's not unusual. I had the same problem in harvest moon games with rivals (Although I feel more guilty in the ones without rivals because then no one ever gets married except who I pick)

And so, one of the first ships of DA: I is born. (Unless there has been other ships before which I missed somehow...)
I don't feel guilty breaking up companion couples. lol
Dorian and Iron Bull makes me super uncomfortable unless Bull leaves the Qun, though, so I would probably try to avoid it happening if possible.

I like companions couple , even if they do it just for science.
Warms my heart.
Well unless things would end up badly , of course.
I tend to feel guilty when there's some companion I don't want to romance , and I feel like maybe romancing someone would do them some good.
Like Merrill being alone for seven years , I'm happy Carver tries to flirt with her.
The worst is Anders , I can't romance him and the dude is all alone and losing it...
Sorry, Iron Bull. I love you, but it's my boy Inquisitor who'll be finding out what those magic fingers can do. ![]()

Cullen and Dorian? That just sounds... odd. Whatever floats your ship, though.

I usually like them, because they add some extra dimension. It's neat to see the companions developing relationships with each other outside of your character. At the same time, though, I don't feel bad romancing them instead. I'm just going to pick whichever content I like better.
Iron Bull and Dorian just specifically bothers me because it totally creeps me out that Bull could be in a relationship with a mage and still support the Qun knowing what they'd do to his partner. It's just really gross, to me. I can't believe he must actually care about Dorian and it seems a bit dim on Dorian's part. If Bull leaves the Qun, though, then it's fine.
Templars and mages aren't always on the best terms, but Cullen has never struck me as the barbaric type and it's not standard procedure to mutilate mages under templar control, so I can more easily stomach Cullen/Dorian than Iron Bull/Dorian. Cullen doesn't seem to be a templar now, anyway. He's an advisor for the Inquisition now.
I wonder how the writers feel about this little ship that seems to be starting up. Maybe someone with a twitter account should float it by them to see what they say?

I can understand thinking of Saarebas is a bit ...well uncomfortable.
But the Iron Bull broke down because he was hunting people for the Qun , so I think he's not a bad guy.
I think the Iron Bull probably a big softie , way bigger softie than Sten. And the Qun broke him.
But he's like Dorian , they both come from some shady culture but it seems they are still attached to it.
If Dorian would bring the Iron Bull to Tevinter , The Iron Bull would probably be turned into a slave.
They hate Qunari over there , and if they don't kill them , they enslave them.

They'd prbably have a grand ol' time trolling/joking about it. 'Cause that's what they do.

In my experience, people can strongly believe/support a religion (or school of thought) without necessarily agreeing with every single part of it. Maybe the Iron Bull doesn't agree with the whole sewing people's mouth shut when they didn't even choose to have magic.
