He looks better in later seasons. His bouncy curls are phenomenal. That wig on season 1 is an abomination (actually pretty much all the wigs used during the season).

Yeah, I've seen other pictures of him. I don't watch it, but I do visit the internet, so I've seen most of the characters repeatedly. lol

Did anyone else think the last season was really not that good? There were only really two episodes I actually enjoyed but other than that it was just kinda boring tbh but it seems to have been really popular so I think I am in a minority.

Probably the slower pace? And the whole focus on Jon Snow knowing nothing goddamnit he knows where to put it.

Only a few of the shocking things were actually shocking, I have read the books so non of it shocks me but I liked the first three seasons. The whole thing with the wall was just as dull as dishwater and Tyrion wasn't in it enough. Also Daenerys is starting to irritate me now.

Pretty sure it's the same guy, since someone told me in another thread that they just have the three gay/bi dudes. yeah the blonde guy is gay (i think) the "take off your clothes" guy is bi and the light brown haired guy and the dark brown haired guy are both gay.

I'll probably romance Dorian with a human mage on my first run.
Because of Dorian I am going to do something I have never done before; play as a male character in DA game and romance him.

As for culture shock, Orlais probably wont be too rough on Dorian, I think, but both Dorian and Vivienne are not going to love Ferelden, I think.
My elfquisitor will be the first to romance him, It should be interesting. My elfquizy will have a hard time trusting humans at first but he will fall for dorian and maybe even end up changing his views a bit.
I quite frankly am getting damn tired of it. Why would they need to be subtle? They can flat out say Felix was like a brother to Dorian. And to reveal his romance, all they have to do is have him flirt with a male protagonist, once. Not hard.
I guess what I mean is, given constraints of time and resources, combining things as much as possible is more efficient. Alexius is presumably a member of the Venatori, Dorian's old master, Leliana's kidnapper and a big threat in the Redcliffe area. This one scene ties into all of those storylines.
Making Felix Dorian's old flame accomplishes something else, it gives him pathos, and presents an opportunity to talk about that relationship before and after the confrontation. When we're getting ready to rescue Leliana, Dorian might have a whole spiel about how he had to flee Tevinter and leave behind a man he cared about. He might have more content afterwards.
They create characters and scenes very specifically. I can't see a reason for Felix to exist as a character if he were just an old friend of Dorian. Again, I could be wrong, but if this scene wasn't designed to show off Dorian's past relationship then I doubt it would have been written in the first place. Alexius and Felix are part of other storylines, but the "efficiency" might come in the way they form a part of Dorian's character arc.

Exactly. It was only mentioned in the writer interview, and they are solely focusing on it as if that was the point of his character. Like always, it looks like the haters are making this a bigger deal than the fans themselves. Ridiculous.
What really annoyed me about the media coverage is the comments from people attacking Bioware for "making a big deal out of the gay character".
David's line about Dorian being gay is buried two thirds of the way down the page. It's not in the headline, it's not the main focus of the interview, and it is absolutely not what they're focusing on with the character. We found out so much more about Dorian and his personality before they ever mentioned his sexual orientation.
The games media were the ones putting "gay" in the headline, and if I didn't know better it was for ridiculous clickbait-y reasons anyway. Some of the articles mention nothing about his status as a magister, or his opposition to Tevinter!

Dorian being gay and my favorite companion couldnt have worked out any better for me (love and thanks to bioware as usual). Now if I can romance Solas and Cullen as a male then 
. Also with David Gaider writing Dorian it will resonate deeply and be virtually real.
