Can we Rival bang? Them rival bangs were awesome in 2. Will Dorian be a woobie-swoony scene or an angsty and fierce scene? Maybe a mix? Hmmmmmmmm... Maybe it's like rival and friend paths?
MUCH SPECULATION. VERY THOUGHTS. LOTS QUESTION MARK.
Angst. So much feels. Firm, sinewy arms. Accent. Moustache.
I just realised 85.632% of my posts are of this nature. And I do not regret a thing.
That's a shame. I was really looking forward to "go back to party city where you belong" from Dorian type confrontation where I of course counter by calling him a "tired-ass showgirl"
If rivalry isn't present, what's the new system we have to try and wrangle? Are we back to approval, or is it something less mechanical and more like Mass Effect, with loyalty and such?

Approval is back, but different from DAO.
One example, you won't be locked out of specific dialogues becuase of approval, but the latter will change that particular dialogue.

It's a more dynamic relationship where your actions and choices can affect the relationship you're developing with your companions/LIs.

There's some kind of approval but it seems a lot of things are related to event.
Stuff like Alistair having a fit at camp , or being happy depending on what happened in Redcliffe, for example
There's still some kind of rivalry , they'll stay if they don't approve and I guess tell you "you suck".
But they have breaking points. If you go to far they leave you
I'm kind of shocked by how quickly my Dorian romancer is coming together. Human. Rogue. Will prefer a political approach. The kind of guy who believes having to resort to military force is a failure of some kind. Smartest guy in the room and bloody well knows it. Unafraid of magic and doesn't believe on dark arts, only dark applications. Not a greater good sort, partly out of benevolence and partly because submitting to the greater good is suggesting he's somehow incompetent.
Totally unrelated to the topic but related to Dorian, just another news/thought piece on him but it's actually pretty cool, unbiased and positive. 2:17 on was pretty much made my morning, i love destructoid XD
Also I'm glad we're doing approval again, I want to be able to ****** of people enough so that they'd want to leave so I can beg them to stay hahah. Honestly, I'm surprised Aveline was still my friend after all the **** i put her through in one of my playthroughs, it's like no matter what you do they'll "respect" you in DA2, something I didn't like.
If i were to have it my way I think that it should've been approval +/- all the way and depending on your choices determine how the relationship would go but that's also complicated.
I just wonder what other Necro stuff he can do other than summon zombies, if he can summon zombies.

I think they could do something like death magic where you can use the corpses in a different way like giving health and other bonuses by using whatever energy are in the corpses around you.
Am I the only one who doesn't consider those images to be nswf? If I can see see female butt printed on a tabloid at work I sure as hell can see a male one too
I kind of like Cullen, but there's a good chance he'll be straight, so I'm not going to get attached. Also, I thought he'd be prettier. He looked prettier at the war table. lol
