But we don't know yet who can romance Cullen.

Me, I'm a bit sad I really don't feel like romancing Cullen ...

I look at Dorian and I'm like "Woaw , much charisma , so dashing"

I look at Cullen and just think "Well , he's ok ."

lol, don't get me wrong, I like both, but it would be nice if Cullen is the bi option, so I can make alternating playthrough without making a female file.

I hope he's bi, but I'd rather have Dorian if it's between the two. It's not bad, though. A lot of girls wanted Dorian and a lot of people want others that wont be LIs at all. lol

That's how I feel, too, but I still like Cullen. I'd still romance him.

 

I also like the idea of a Cullen/Dorian NPC relationship in-game, if Cullen is bi.

 

Even though I would probably never see it, consider the chances of a third option I'd like is almost zero. YouTube, though! lol

I know some people wanted a magister that actually supported slavery and everything in Tevinter.

 

More of a figurative mustache twirler, I suppose.

No worries   I'm not super serious. I don't really even have an opinion on Cullen. 

 

I don't really know what to think of Dorian. At least not enough to critique him. I have very limited knowledge about Tevinter so I don't want to judge him too harshly. I mean, he wants to make a change so I'm curious to see what exactly he wants to change.

I mean I like characters I sometimes want to strangle.

I like Carver much more than Bethany for example.

Of course it's not an universal law .

In honesty, asides from Cullen and Dorian, none of the guys I find attractive. If Cullen is bi, this would be the first game where I like both m/m LI options.

I know how you feel. They're definitely the most attractive guys in the lineup, imo. I think I could get used to Solas, just because I really, really like how his personality sound. I'm really hoping I'll like at least two choices this time. I think there's a better chance, since I'm thinking everyone might get 3 options with 2 being bi.

I like Carver better because Bethany is kind of boring, to me. She just agrees with everything and is way too nice and "pure", for me. lol

 

But I think Carver works well as a sibling. As a romance, someone like that would NEVER work for me, and even as a friend it would annoy me, honestly.

We don't know if he has skewed views, though. Like Merrill, some of his views may be really WTF and I want to see that so badly. He's a necromancer for one. That's something wtf - defiling a dead body. I mean, I personally think a soul is gone and should be given back to the earth and not shoved in preservatives in a wooden case in a plot of land but I don't think reviving a body is cool at all. It's so disrespectful. I hope he isn't wishy-washy about it because I want to argue with him about it.

Well, Tevinter is a pretty screwed up place, so that's interest enough for me, personally.

I like my companions having strong opinions that might not be a popular one. I love rivalling with Fenris, for instance. His opinions aren't as improved as if you friend him but I like him being all grump. I want Dorian grump. Lol.

It's hard to critique Dorian because, so far, he sounds just about perfect? I imagine that once we actually witness his arrogance and hear how he responds to the inevitable (*fingers crossed*) questions Sera and/or Solas have for him, we'll have more to discuss. The one thing I could see bothering me about him is if he's too shallow (as an individual, not a character).

It's extremely interesting to me that he's into necromancy despite being described as an outgoing, charming person. You'd think if someone was proud and upbeat about necromancy, defiling bodies and whatnot, it would insinuate something sinister about his character.

But I get the impression that it isnt the case and he'll try to make a point out of it. It's still a bit of an oxymoron to me so I definitely want to hear more about it from him.

You can be charming and idealistic and still have morally skewed opinions. He may have grown up with Alexius so it could stem from his youth, if you grow up amongst it, you may be detached to seeing it as anything but normal. Zev is like that.

I'll probably play a female inquisitor on a second or third play through for Sera.   Because 1+1=2.

I think people assume he'll be against slavery and the worse parts of Tevinter because of how he's been pitched so far. I mean, like his profile says that he opposes everything his country has come to stand for. What do we associate with Tevinter, if not slavery? So, it may not be the case, but I see why people assume it.

 

I think he'll be for mage independence and against the circle, though, because the interview mentions that he and Vivienne are on opposite sides of things.

Me too. I'm actually planning the exact same thing. Unless Vivienne is an LI... I want to romance her. She's awesome.

Different taste and opinions?

I mean if you think Cullen looks wonderful and Dorian not so much...both will be romanceable.

Maybe not with the gender you'd like but still.

In the end , everybody wins!
