I'm gonna go with friendly only because the idea that Felix was Dorian's lover would mirror Anders and Karl's story too closely. I imagine Dorian would've developed some kind of friendship with his mentor's son, at the very least. Don't know if it would've been a friendly rivalry though. It's possible, given that Dorian was apparently so gifted that he became envied by his peers.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dorian and Alexius's son were lovers and maybe even that Alexius blames Dorian for however his son died, originally.

I think they were in a relationship, because the part of the demo we haven't seen yet sees the Inquisitor consoling Dorian over someone's death, and the context of the situation made it sound like they were talking about Felix.

I remember someone who's played the full demo at E3 describing the exchange along the lines of the Inquisitor telling Dorian that he cared deeply for him (Felix). I'll try to dig it up if I can.

This, of course, isn't concrete evidence of anything. The Inquisitor could be referring to Alexius, but the line saying "he died a long time ago" could be referring to Felix.

I wonder how Felix died, also, though. I mean, he looks very young, to me. He looks younger than Dorian, but he could have been dead for some time. I really doubt it was natural causes that caused him to be brought back. Maybe some kind of experiment gone wrong, or something.

And you know what, I'm warming up to the idea a bit... it's just... Anders and Karl <-< and then you got your Walking Dead season 2's >-> ... kinda didn't want it to be the case with Dorian but I'll be fine either way

One can only imagine (or wait 90 days) what they did to ****** her off so much, you know, besides the whole torture thing

And suffering horrific torture at the hands of people you know are the bad guys wouldn't be enough to make you a bit ****** with them?!!   I'm just impressed how she stands up to them in the trailer.   You do know that hanging by the arms is excruciating?   Hollywood movies make light of this - they seem to have heroes suffering it all the time without any ill effects.    Even Bioware haven't got the facts entirely right because if Leliana had been kept like that for any length of time, she wouldn't be capable of holding a knife, much less using it.   It was the standard torture used by Topcliffe in Elizabethan England.     Mind you, he made sure the feet didn't quite touch the ground, so then it virtually mimicked crucifixion.   He would hang them until they passed out from the pain, then revive them and repeat until they broke, or died (although if you let your victim die, essentially you had failed).   More than one person suffered internal injuries as a result.   Every person who underwent it could barely move and could not even feed themselves in the immediate aftermath.    If Alexius ordered that done to Leliana, I'll be pretty ******* with him.

Thing is Leliana seems pissed off at something else the Venatori and co did.("I want the world back")

And we don't know exactly what.But  I can imagine people think they are responsible for the Blast.

I mean mages from Tevinter around?The fade suddenly breach?

It's easy to jump to conclusion.

Anyway it seems she's also angry at Dorian...(she snapped at him and tell him to STFU)Did he do something bad?Or he's just guilty by association?

I decided a while ago that I'm rolling a male first. Don't know what sort or what class but dammit if they will not be sexy and swarthy! I never play as a man if I have the option not to and I figure I should probably do so. I WILL BECOME LIKE ONE OF THOSE MALE MMO PLAYERS WHO ONLY PLAY AS BIKINI-CLAD FEMALE CHARACTERS AND I WILL ENJOY IT TARNATION
 

 
It was a big toss up between which gender because I finally feel like I might have the option to properly explore an openly gay PC for once. Might being the key word. You can agree to disagree on that with me, as well. I personally think at this stage I'd like it for my PC to state it.

EDIT: Oh, no. I just realised the implications of comparing myself to a pervy male MMO character, there. I'm really not planning on modding my character to wear latex, dominatrix leathers. Those mods disturb me to no end. I guess mainly because I like lore-friendly only. I don't get why you see some people modding Wynne to look like a silver-haired 20 year old animu chibi with sheer lingerie on. That's... off. Iunno, maybe that is too harsh a judgement.It's (to me) the same as modding a PC to look overly beautiful with super massive, silken locks of anime-style hair and very strong makeup and stuff... It isn't realistic to the setting.
