I support Empress Celene. More specificly the flower is a violet.

In spanish, "pavo" is a turkey. A peacock is a "pavo real". So, in my head he was always "Dorian Turkey(?!?)"

 

edit: so I am glad in Latin pavus means peacock and not turkey.

The more I think about it, the more I think Dorian x Qunari Inquisitor has to have a lot of reactive content to the whole "our people totally hate each other" aspect of their (sort-of) cultures. I mean, the Inquisitor in that case has no ties to the Qun, and Dorian isn't your typical Tevinter mage, but still.

I felt (and still feel) he could very well be one of the two restricted characters.

It certainly doesn't have to be that way, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if he declined intimacy with a qunari protagonist. Despite his feelings on magical deviance and (hopefully) human rights abuse, the society he wants to redeem is still at war with the qunari and anathema to the Qun.

Well, now I know I can't wait to see Dorian the turkey mage. 

 

I'm not keen on the Dorian x Iron Bull ship. Iron Bull looks way to disproportionate, body-wise, for me to be attracted to him. SUCH a small head.. To me, the only thing that makes him attractive is the fact he's voiced by FPJ. And if he's romanceable, I'll do it just to hear him flirt with my male Quizzy because all I'm gonna do is picture the words coming out of FPJ's mouth 

But that'll be, like, my third playthrough. First, I'll romance Dorian- that's a given. Second, Sera because she sounds amazing.

That just makes it that much cuter to ship Adaar with Dorian :v

I'm mostly curious about Minrathous.Think It's the biggest city in Thedas.And they have the 3 (?) giant golems.And maybe a proving ground ?Also dwarven ambassies.

I'm also curious about their Chantry and the view on the Maker and stuff...I mean they still have old gods symbolism all over the damn place.

I mean the rise of the Chantry  wasn't good for them.

Also the face of Dorian , if Morrigan says something like Old Gods were cool , fools!

Dorian actually has a line about Minrathous in the demo, we'll get to hear it when they eventually release Part 2.

 

When they're talking about Alexius' special necklace amulet thing, Dorian mentions that he saw something similar in Minrathous.

I'm assuming that since he was of a high noble family, he studied at the largest Circle within Minrathous. I wonder if he's either related to either the Black Divine or Archon?

The white outfit was simply a disguise.

And then he takes off his fake moustache,and Thedas explodes.

Am I wrong in saying that I remember Tevinter being a bit like the Roman Empire? They did the same thing, basically. Just expanding through eating up other cities and it's people. Figuratively.

I'd love to hear more about Tevinter. Fenris shed some light on it, but I'd love to hear a differing perspective. I'm sure there are a lot of positive things that Dorian would say about his homeland. I feel like there have to be good sides. I hate it when a place is, "pure evil." Gimme grey, plz. Which is what DA strives to do, so.

Dorian's entrance cutscene will be him fanning out his beautiful peacock wings and making ungodly sounding screeches.

 

edit: That demooo.. I need it. Like, wth is up with that necklace? Why does he need to waste an hour in a place full of demons to, "study" it? WHY.
