Am I wrong in saying that I remember Tevinter being a bit like the Roman Empire? They did the same thing, basically. Just expanding through eating up other cities and it's people. Figuratively.

I'd love to hear more about Tevinter. Fenris shed some light on it, but I'd love to hear a differing perspective. I'm sure there are a lot of positive things that Dorian would say about his homeland. I feel like there have to be good sides. I hate it when a place is, "pure evil." Gimme grey, plz. Which is what DA strives to do, so.

 

From the codex and stuffs it's a bit hard to find anything that puts Tevinterin a positive light. They always mention slavery, leniency towards blood magic, opulent lifestyles and what not. I too am really hoping Dorian would add dimension to that. He's supposedly good hearted no? (a kind heart under that sexy swarthy flesh my my)

 

I totally belted Peacock by Katy Perry upon viewing this lovely magnifcent pic. Which also exhibits my feelings towards Dorian in song 

"come on baby let me see~ whatchu hiding underneath~"

I hope since Dorian is from eastern Tavinter and the whole multicultural and cosmopolitan aspect to his country, Dorian can have some cool accent. Most of the Tavinters we meet in-game have that usual English and American accent.

I think he has an English accent with a tiny bit of Indian in the mix.

I remember D Gaider saying something like that about his voice actor.

Exactly! Which is why I want to know why Dorian wants to redeem his city. I think most accounts of Tevinter are outsider sources... then of course, the insane Magister boss battles. What's good about it? I always felt like it wasn't just The Sith Empire. There has to be good in it.

Speaking of the moustache craze, my friend has one of those moustache tattoos on her finger. She screwed up the after-care of it so it's half faded but... yeah iunno there is a story about moustaches.

I think it's mostly in Norway, perhaps in some other Nordic countries. 

If she dares, she could fix it up herself, my tattoos are self made. Though I don't have a gun, just a regular needle, some wipes and anti bacterial stuff. Terribly slow progress I tell you....
