I'm not sure, but possibly not send Leliana into that mission? Seeing she provokes him by murdering his son. His son that was likely brought back through Necromancy. I feel so sorry for him. Terrible person or not, that voice actor kicked arse with the emotions there.
I was hoping for some Iron Bull or Sera and Dorian banter, but didn't hear any. All I heard was him and Leliana. Did I just miss it or did they not talk in this demo?
They didn't banter. Not really the time for it, I guess? There was that Sera/Iron Bull banter in the first part, though.

Also liked how Dorian was casual about the whole place falling apart.
And yeah I also didn't feel any love vibe going on in the whole Felix thing.

I felt a bit bad for Alexius , seems things got out of hand , and he didn't want things to turn this badly.
Seems the Tevinter dudes are also afraid of something.

Wow I can finally say something intelligent about Dorian. He does seem like he's going to be one of our wittier companions. I don't get a past romance with Felix vibe at all, but I do very much get a father/son vibe with Alexius. He has a very nice voice, though not one I recognize. I wonder if all our mages will be as curious about the lyrium shard?
I was surprised by how much I pitied Alexius. He didn't seem cackling and insane, but more a man who suffered great pain and regret, whose love for his son had blinded him. I don't get the sense that he dislikes Dorian at all or is even disappointed in him per se. But that he had a goal he has utterly failed to reach and has been slowly realizing that for some time.

To be fair to Leliana she has just been tortured terribly by a group of mages, so I think we can't judge her too harshly in that moment. Hell, I think it shows how strong she is to be able to continue to function as well as she is afterwards. I guess it's exactly as she says... anger is far stronger than pain.
It sounded like they were really close (in a father/son way) before their differing goals set them apart. I'm feeling really bad for Dorian right now.

Alexius seems like a really interesting character. I can't wait to find out the history behind Dorian's exile and their time in Tevinter.

Why does Dorian have the Staff of Violation?
I can't really hear much of an Indian inflection in the voice acting, but the actor (whoever he is) is super good. Lots of emotion and I really like how angry his voice gets in "Maker's breath, Alexius, what have you done!?"
His moustache looks so much better now that we can see light plays off it the same way it does his hair.

Not sure, it might just be a staff they equipped him with as a kind of... weapon cameo? Either that, or it isn't as special as we were lead to believe?
He likes to violate our emotions.
