Any faithful person to the "white" Chantry or their system of things would proooobably dislike him quite a bit.

Hard to tell, political views, religious views etc, might be disregarded by some, and the personality is what does it.
If Solas is a dreamer I would think he'd might have some respect from Dhmg, with the whole Tevinter dreamer stuff... I.. Really have no idea though, I mean it's easy to think that elves would dislike Tevinters, because of the amount of elven slaves. Qunari because of the war, tho IB isn't Qunari anymore.

As stated on the wiki:
Because of its history as a conqueror, the role of magisters played in starting the Blights, and the current Schism with the Divine in Orlais, the Tevinter Imperium is the most maligned and demonized nation in Thedas. It is virtually impossible to find writings from Tevinter outside its borders that have not been heavily altered or outright forged. To most Theodosians it is a corrupt and degenerate magocracy that must be feared until it can be converted.

Anders (as weighted as his opinion may be) tells Hawke that the Tevinter mages are seen as these blood-thirsty, power-hungry maniacs who take part in virgin sacrifices and kitten killing, so I imagine that the propaganda is pretty prevalent.
Inquisitor: So I can be completely sure you're not going to appear in the night and drain me of my lifeblood for nefarious, blood-magicky purposes?
Dorian: Not unless you're into that sort of thing, Inquisitor.
Inquisitor: And... no murdering of kittens and puppies upon an arcane altar, either, right?
Dorian: Kittens and... What manner of tales do they tell you of Magisters down here?!
Inquisitor: Oh, very exciting ones, to scare us into eating our vegetables and such. I always imagined if I were to meet one they would be taller, though. Less impeccably moustachioed, more "beard of ancients stained with the blood of the sacrificed". Ooh, and with glowy red eyes, and sharp teeth!
Dorian: *clasps Quizzy's shoulder* You worry me, sometimes, my friend.
Vivienne: *passing by* I wouldn't dismiss the possibility of this one hiding some fangs beneath that twirly monstrosity on his upper lip, my dear Inquisitor.
Dorian: *bristles* I do not believe I asked your input on either this conversation or my facial hair, Madame.
Vivienne: *smiles* I'm only looking out for the Inquisitor's well-being, darling. It would hardly do for our fearless leader to come to an untimely end due to placing unwarranted trust in any profoundly untrustworthy individuals. *walks away*
Dorian: *dramatic hand gesture and a sigh* I don't think she likes me, Inquisitor.
Inquisitor: Can you blame her? Your moustache is constantly stealing the attention from her hats.
Dorian: *smothers laughter*

Nah, not officially. But it is assumed that he is, based on the design/clothes matches tevinter clothing/conceptart.

We already knew Solas by that point, so there was no need to call him unnamed, and some later dev teasing sorta hinted that Mary meant another mage (because back then we didn't know there would be three!).
Basically what I mean is: I think DHMG and Vivienne will have some amazing, lively debates filled with angry fireballs.

Mary Kirby mentioned in her Vivienne profile that Madame de Fer's interactions with an "unnamed Inquisition mage" could be... explosive.

I'd love it to follow a similar arc as Isabela's and Aveline's relationship. Hostility and resentment that grows into admiration and respect.

I would really love for DHMG to be Dorian, or any Magister, really. ALl we've heard about Tivinter has really come from a slave and from Fereldens. Sure we've met some bad eggs coming from Tivinter, but I'd really like to meet someone from that country with a degree of influence, because I don't think that The Imperium is as horrible as we've been led to believe. If Dorian (or DHMG) are, in fact, Tivinter Magisters, he could shed some light, and provide his perspective, on the Imperium. So I pray to Gaider that DHMG is Dorian and that he is in this game.
Besides, that mustache is pimpin'!

It seems that the Chantry has purposely fanned the flames with regards to Tevinter's reputation, purposely encouraging the rumors of blood mages ruling over all. This could very well be true, Fenris was against anything Tevinter.
Of course, he was a lower citizen, a slave at that. How positive can a country's lowest inhabitants perception be? It's like taking somebody's opinion from Darktown on Kirkwall, or an Elf from an Alienage in Orlais. They only see the bad. I'd like if Tevinter wasn't just pure evil. Gray is a nice shade.

Vivienne: Im watching you Dorian, I will not sit back and allow to corrupt the the inquisitor with your blood magic! If i catch you attempting to whisper lie's from the black divine in the Inquisitor's ear, so help me……..
Dorian: *dramatic hand movements* ME?……corrupt the inquisitor? *scoffs* oh you have it all wrong my dear, I am but a humble servant of Andraste, I wish nothing more then to rid Tevinter from it's it's decadence and corruption.
Vivienne: Do you really expect my to be fooled by your platitudes? Deep down All magisters pine for control and a return to the days of the Imperium.
Dorian: Oh dont be so dramatic my dear.
Vivenne: coming from a man who flails his arms about every few minutes?
Varric: Would you two get a room already.
Vienne: *death stare*
Dorian: *opens arms wide open* Well what do you say Viv? swing by my tent a bit later and i'll show you some forbidden Tevinter magics?
Vivenne: You sir are abomination of a man.
Dorian: *raise finger* That only happened once! I swear, you get possessed by a desire demon one time and people lord it over you forever.
Varric: you were possessed by a desire demon?
Dorian: yes, but only metaphorically.
Varric: Ha!
Dorian: *bows*
Vivenne: Malificarium is no joking matter, You should take your role as a mage more seriously.
Dorian: It's MAG-I-STER dear… and I am serious, my tent, bring a smile.
Vivenne: in your dreams…...magister….
Dorian: *dramatic hand movements* ooh kinky, but thats more Solas's department my dear.
Vivenne: with the way you prance about, I'm surprised Solas Isn't the victim of your unwanted attention.
Varric: HA!
Dorian: Well played *claps*

Ooh, I can't wait! They're the two companions I'm most looking forward to. I thought it was a little odd when I saw that quote before, since Solas seems too calm to be having 'explosive interactions' with people, but I can imagine DHMG and Viviene arguing like that, with sniping, snarky comments.
