Can't say I am surprised about Lelianas response.

She was raped and tortured for who knows how long by a magister, so of course she's gonna say some things. She's bitter, but not DAO Cullen angry.

I wonder if she'll pull Tali?

Was she? She looked fine to me.

She's definitely been tortured. I saw nothing to imply rape.

As for Dorian, he's probably the same height as all other human males.

Indeed. I saw nothing to imply rape either.

Meh...mages are born like that.

She's into the Maker who has created the world this way.

She's snapping at a mage who's busy helping.

Ok.She's been tortured.

But her anger is misplaced , IMHO.

Of course  it is misplaced.  She's only human, after all, and humans (and other appropriate human-like entities) often misdirect particularly strong emotions when under pressure.  But that's not the same as saying she now hates all mages, which is what I was saying is likely not the case.

Yeah, I don't believe there was anything sexual in what she was put through. That doesn't mean it wasn't BAD, however. Torture doesn't need to result to rape to be terrible and mentally straining.

I certainly understand her anger.

*claps loudly*

Anyway! What about that Mr. Pavus?

I am curious about that amulet.

The last time we went to a place where the veil was thin we ended reviving Flemeth and recruiting a blood mage abomination. Aka Merrill.

I'm kind of curious what flavor of mage he's supposed to be in relation to Vivenne and Solas.  Basically, is he a nuker, healer, or controller?

Dragon age has used rape as a plot point, but I don't think they'd use that in front of the press. Plus, it look like she wasn't chained up to lonh if she can still pull herself up to kill him. And, if they were going to use rape as a plot point then why is she still in full armor?

I support the theory that he might very well be the exiled magister that Mae mentioned in the comics. So, healer?  :wizard:

The Amulet seems to open a portal of some sort, though I have not a clue as to why we need to REOPEN a rift.

You mean that necklace that turns the Inquisition into the Sailor Scouts?

I'm still of the mind that he chose to turn necromancy onto its head, and use his magic for healing instead of raising the dead.

I wasn't seeing that in the Demo, but it is Alpha so what was there probably is not indicative of Dorian's abilities in the final release.

Eh, I can't say I can blame or not blame Leliana for her attitude yet. It's hard to tell without the full context.

As for height, I'd say he's probably the shortest human male if we're judging from the round table picture. Blackwall, Cullen, and Cole (who's human-ish i guess) look like they're all a bit taller. Doesn't bother me the slightest though.  :D

Reopening the rift isn't the problem. The problem is what is on the other side of the rift. Who is the Elder One?

I'm hoping that! It would certainly fit into how he likes being what people don't expect.

And, if I remember, the mage Mae mentions in the comics can 'heal by grafting spirits to flesh'?

Gotta say. Since we got a whole video on Dorian, I am loving his robes more and more. Though I know there are some here that might want to take them off for reasons  :P

I look forward to Dorian, Iron Bull, and Blackwall's transformation sequences greatly.

I think Dorian would be a Sailor Venus.
