1. Dorian HAS THE PERFECT TUSH
2. I always find men with a bit of sass and flair attractive. And a bit jealous of them too. Most of my friends think I'm a saltless gay ******, so...
Edit: they actually bleeped out cr*cker?

This was my life in a nutshell when I first came out. I may not be the manliest person on the planet, but I am what most would consider a masculine gay guy. Even so, all of the girls in my class flocked to me when they became aware of my sexuality, and when I told them I wasn't interested in shopping, fashion, and other girly activities I was called a "disappointment" and a "letdown" more than a few times.
Now I'm well-liked regardless, but it sucks being called a disappointment even for such a stupid reason. There's absolutely nothing wrong with being a feminine or flamboyant gay man, but I feel like they reinforce stereotypes that alienate gay men that are masculine and "boring". I hate to say it, but if Dorian turns out to be even somewhat stereotypical, I'd be more inclined to romance Iron Bull. Dorian would still be a fascinating character and would frequent my party; I just wouldn't romance him. Which would be a shame because I've been wanting a cocky noble gay male love interest for sometime now.
But for right now I'm planning on romancing him, because he's the most interesting companion revealed thus far, and I have immense faith in Gaider's writing. ![]()

Oh! Maybe Dorian will have a cat as a callback to the idea of familiars for witches. Obviously he will love it even after the kill-joys running the Inquisition take it from him. He can name it something playful yet respectful, like Magister Purrs. ![]()
(j/k I saw Salem and the Anders jokes just won't stop. Help me.)

Ooh, Magister Meows, Maestro of Mewls and the Archon of Purrfection, Pride of the Tevinter Impurrium.
I ain't lion when I say that cat has a purrfect meowstache. Dorian would be proud.
Hint: yes you can twirl it.

I'm sure Gaider isn't feeling the pressure
But seriously, I've only gone after Zevran and Fenris and they were both written by him, so I'm pretty sure Dorian won't disappoint. After all my quizzy will be sassy himself so they'll get along famously.
Ah a romance with a dashing idealist, life is good. (I will hear nothing about Gaider and tears)

I wonder if getting companions to get along is going to be as much like herding cats in the last two games.
If so, I suspect Pirion will be thanking Vivienne for the old perfume bottle that he repurposed for splitting up mage - templar conflicts.

I'm not that demanding of a person, I swear! Haha! But I love Zevran, even though I prefer Leliana as a character and romance. Fenris, on the other hand...
Let's just say I'm thankful that Dorian seems to be the opposite of Fenris in just about every way.

Like any stereotypical mother wanting grandchildren for a long time. Sadly couldn't find a picture of a stereotypical mother wanting grandchildren ![]()
