Or, on the flip side, he could be a bit more condescending towards White Circle mages who can't keep their act together.
The Circle the place that nobody want to get together and hold hands.

I think his natural attitude to most things is snark or bitterness
Leliana also didn't seem too fond of him in the demo, and given her expressed concerns about the misuse of magic, I don't think she'd be that frosty towards Dorian if he also supported more limits on mages.
To me, it seems more likely that he'll revel in the power of being a trained Imperium mage, while realising that the way magic is used in Tevinter is often excessive and dangerous.
Dorian shows no fear when it comes to flexing his magical muscles. With Leliana it could just be stress given the circumstance. But Dorian wasn't hostile towards her. Think I recall it being said that Leliana will compromise for the sake of the inquisition. But she may have a problem with tevinter or blood magic now.
Someone posted that a while back I think, but regardless, it's still hilarious. XD
I want that to happen so much. My Inquisitor will take great advantage of mustache bound Dorian. *Leblush*
In regards to Blood Magic, I think Dorian will be of the mind that it's just like any other form of magic, only as evil as the one using it. It can be used for good, but most practitioners only use it to further their own agendas.

Dorian himself doesn't appear to use Blood Magic, when being a privileged mage in Tevinter he probably could have learnt it if he wished. So I'm guessing he disapproves of it.
I think its partially because Dorian shares Tony Stark's tendancy to talk/snark at the wrong time. Trying to be glib towards someone who just killed their torturer by breaking their neck with their thighs isn't a wise idea.
Perhaps Dorian's verbal tic is that he starts to babble when he gets nervous?
I like this headcannon. I think that, until proven otherwise, I shall be adopting this headcannon for my own.
Try not to shoot anyone with it

Sorry to interject, but I wanted to share part of a post I made about Dorian, and why I already adore him.
I've never done a m/m romance, nor has that type of slashfic ever been something I've been into. Now Dorian has shown up, and he's got the combo I want:
Swarthy, dark complexion with blue hazel eyes, a good hearted man in the middle of a country that largely suppressed such emotions, trying to discover who he is outside of Tevinter. That's just...wow. When I had thought about a m/m romance in the past, I kept hoping for someone like that. I love having "bad guys" turned on it's head; like with my tiefling D&D character. Most of them align towards Chaotic Neutral/Chaotic Evil, but I choose to play a good guy instead.
To add: He's also looks like he's got a great sense of humor. Did I mention that the DA team just knocked the ball out of the park with Dorian? ![]()

Oh no! She's seen the other thread in which I lurk!
But can I just say, you pretty much just summed up most of the reasons I'm excited about him?

Ugh, I hate to pick the proverbial nit, but Dorian's eyes are hazel, not blue....otherwise, I agree with you completely!

Good point. Hazel is a great color though. Sometimes, it'll look brown, or blue, or green, depending upon lighting. I also think in a non-magical sort of way Dorian's eyes would change color slightly depending upon mood.

Great, now I've gone full Tex Avery with the image:
HARRROOO! <pant pant pant> Hubba hubba <whistle>
Sorry, I'll show myself out.
My work here is done lol

I can't see this being true. If half of what Fenris said is true Dorian would think it abuse. If there are other ways of accomplishing the same goal I would think he would be against torture especially after seeing it so abused (killing off slaves, blood feuds).PLus, we haven't yet seen accurate protrayals of blood magic and its consequences. Merril's clan was destroyed because of it, nature was disrupted, dead were walking, peaceful animals attacked and were corrupted. Even we players have seen no good come from blood magic.
