^No clue. But we do know he's a necromancer.
So hold off on delivering him to the Maker until he screws up, got it.
I still suspect he practiced blood magic.

From the PC Gamer preview:
"“Oh look, a dragon. What a perfect way to ruin our day,” my mage, Dorian, quips."
Mike Laidlaw discusses Dorian in the PC Gamer preview:
“Dorian, he’s fun. A lot of fun. He’s gregarious, outgoing, likeable and he’s from the nation that everyone thinks are bad guys.”"
Wait, how are you seeing all of this?

Dorian sounds like he will be useful, But the last thing i want is a DAA Anders from Tveinter.
Which this is starting to sound like.

Better than DA2 Anders lol
That being said, I do see some similarities, but I want Dorian to be his own character.

I love DA2 Anders, too, so I'm fine with it either way. But I'm sure Dorian will be different. The only thing they really seem to have in common is that they're both a bit quippy, imo. They come from basically polar opposite backgrounds and I think Dorian's noble class upbringing shows.

Seeing as he comes from Tevinter, I don't see Dorian wandering around all angst-ridden at the plight of the poor mages. If anything, he may see the circle mages in much the same way that Morrigan does when you go to the tower. Dorian's aim is to reform Tevinter, not the circle, etc.
@ vaticinator - I see Dorian as much more of a Salsa Verde than Nacho Cheese...but that could just be me ![]()

That's it, I'm switching the other human noble to male (I have a Trevelyan family tree--might have overdone the prep work) so I can have two Dorian romances. I actually feel a little guilty about this.

"Huh, do all your Circle towers come in the shape of a phallus? Really...? That's... pleasant."
I also think Doritos are my soul food. As for Dorian's flavor, I'm thinking the same, or maybe those Spicy Sweet Chili Doritos. Not Nacho Cheese because Chris Evans, my first love, is Nacho Cheese, broski.
