But, there was a post about wanting to see Dorian as Neptune.

That was hotter than I thought it would be. I saw a whole lot of Dorian's man candy. Thank you.

Does this mean we're now shipping Dorian and Sera together?

That's funny, coz they're both gay. ![]()

It's also what some people would call a match made in Hell. ![]()
Hell no, but what are you supposed to do with soundbites like those?

It's an awesome piece of fan art, but, in my mind, the scene goes like this:
Inquisitor: Dorian, what... What are you doing?
Dorian: Ah, didn't see you there. Just enjoying the surf and contemplating the sun rise. Same thing I do every morning.
Inq: I can see that, but why aren't you wearing any pants?
Dor: Hmm? Oh, would you look at that? I honestly didn't notice.
Inq: That... That's just great
But madame, I am always here.
Blushing slightly...

The news made me happy anyway! I've went through all gay romances several times in all Bioware games, even the Lesbian ones. I'm female myself if your wondering. Apart from the eyecandy I like variety and open-mindedness of gay romances and lesbian romances are just too fun and I like exploring.
Such language
I'm sure this forum could provide you with plentynakedideas...

NINJA OMG. The world must know about this beautiful video... ahahaha. Oh gawrsh my chuckling
It's just nice to see someone who is excited either way. There was some shiz on some other social media that was irking when Gaider stated that he is gay. I'm sorry, I dont mean to be assuming that you are like that at all, it's just niceI was all, "O NO DORIAN WON'T BE ROMANCEABLE FOR FEMALES" before he was announced but I got over it pretty quick when I went, "Oh... I can just make a male PC... I didn't... why am I an idiot?!"
haha IKR. I know my swedish swear words, Ymirr.
Ugh, was going through tumblr the other day and someone posted all the hate in a photo on the announcement that Dorian was gay and a caption at the bottom that said, "Amazing," and I was like, ikr? I never think people can get more asinine than they are playing CoD or LoL and then I get proven wrong so badly. ._.
And then I look at it all and I'm just thinking, "Well, your loss!" because I'm very confident in saying that Dorian seems like quite an interesting character. People are missing out on a potentially great story just because they don't approve of who someone is. You don't even have to romance the dude to be a part of his story, but I'm confident his one trait is going to cloud people's judgement and they're going to avoid picking him up. I understand disliking personalities, but who they are, that they are more than unable to help. You can choose not to be a dick, but you can't choose not to like dick.
Regardless, it aggravated me and that's all. I don't like getting stuck on the negative stuff like that because, honestly, it doesn't affect me. It affects them because they're choosing not to partake in the whole story because someone's gay. They lose something and I gain it. It's a win-lose for those of us who enjoy Dorian.
Anyway, Eluvianus, I love your avatar. It's uh, distracting... in a very good way. ![]()
Hm... wonder when they're going to release the info for the next LIs. Anyone think they're going to both be bi? That may actually be a bit off topic.
Anyone else, males actually, thinking of growing a mustache enough to twirl it? Lol... because I am. Not really. I mean, I'm actually just lazy, but I'll use that as an excuse.

Ohmygod
Why are you do this to me? ;_; It's beautiful.
That's funny, coz they're both gay.
With all these gay romances I'm going to be playing this game for at least a year.
"All you've been doing is playing that same game... how many times have you finished it?"
"I've lost count, but I'm somewhere in the thousands. I just need to romance Dorian one more time, I promise."
"You said that on game 281."

With Fifty hours just for the story you could spend a year on your first and second play through alone.

That IS great! Forget your pants as often as you like, Dorian.
He is a bit of a low key deity in that image, isn't he? I didn't even give him flashy powers or a crown - which would mess up his perfect hair!
But that makes me wonder, while Dorian obviously takes pride in his appearance, I think he'll be pragmatic about it. If they had to trudge through a swamp for a mission, he would probably make a snarky comment about the mess, but wouldn't kick up a fuss.

He just wants to wear the outfit himself...durrr...

Ayup. Their loss. They are stoopy heads, forreal. It's pretty embarassing... but... eeerrrhhhhhh how do I say this? It seems there was a certain crowd that lost interest in him because he's gay... It's not like he isn't still friggin awesome! *shrugs* I'm sorry to say this but I think this thread might have more people in it if he was straight or bi. Maybe I am wrong. I hope I am wrong. I don't think I am, though.
Pisses me right off.

Totally true. Unfortunately.
Eh. The character threads seem to be 80% about romances at this point (maybe because we don't know much else about them yet) and I'm not surprised that the m/m option is just numerically not as popular as someone like Cullen, Solas or even Josephine. At the end of the day the threads aren't really a popularity contest, and I'm sure after release there'll be more people who are interested in other aspects of Dorian's character than the romance arc.
Some did stop posting after he was confirmed as gay, but I assume that's because a reasonably large proportion of people who are posting in this subforum are doing so because they're imagining or planning future romances, or something. If they only focus on the romances in Bioware's games, that's their decision I guess, and from that perspective I understand the mindset of ignoring a gay character if your overwhelming interest is in female Inquisitors romancing males.
(Some of the reactions to Solas or Cullen are pretty bewildering to me regardless, so I've just come to accept that Bioware's games and Dragon Age in particular attract all sorts of fans, and that's fine. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
