Is that a new armor because I don't remember his white robe having that much armor on it?

He looks exactly the same skin tone he always is.  Why are people so worried about his skin tone?  Just enjoy the stache and keep calm!  lol!

WOW... the armor, the creases between his eyebrows, that look in his eyes, those lips... ooooooh boy so many gorgeous details, I can hardly handle it.

I wasn't too fond of the moustache at first either, but now I can't imagine him without it. I'm still torn about who to romance first, him or Iron Bull. On the one hand, I want him to be the first, on the other hand there is the save the best for last thingy. Choices choices!

I'm actually in the same boat as you. I have a qunari warrior planned first (who may be more compatible with Iron Bull), but I'd have to wait 200 hours for Dorian's romance arc and that's a bit too long for me. I guess I'll have to expedite my Lavellan playthrough.

Just saw someone tell me that they're interested in trying a gay Inquisitor because Dorian seems interesting. I think that that is awesome!

Yup.  It makes the board seem like a safe place thanks to him and BioWare in general being so supportive of the community.  Such a wonderful change of pace from so many other gaming sites.

What race are you guys planning to romance Dorian with? I won't be romancing him in my first playthrough, but definitely in my second. I really want to play as a Qunari warrior who romances Dorian. That seems most interesting to me especially because of the whole Qunari/Tevinter war (although they are technically Tal-Vasoth).

 

I also have high hopes for Iron Bull and Dorian hooking up if neither is romanced, similar to Tali/Garrus and Fenris/Isabela. I think they'd make a great couple, I would have to wait till my third playthrough for that to actually happen though lol. 

I also want to toss a Qunari at him for similar reasons.

Either an elf or a qunari. I'm not sure yet.

I'm still fearing the wrath of race gating.  However, for the moment my plan is to romance him with an Elf (rogue or mage I keep switching back and fourth).  Though if he's not race gated I can imagine every combo will eventually get a chance to romance the Amazing Dorian (except maybe qunari).

I'll play a Dalish /Dorian.I hope there won't be any race gate problem.

 

Anyway , I'm interested in this because the Dalish and Tevinter are both culture hanging onto the past.Both elven and Tevinter empire have been destroyed.Tevinter still has a country obviously , but the glory days are long gone.

So I'm excited about having those two walking lands their people used to own once upon a time , and now being a mage , and the other an elf they are both unwelcomed.

The qunari issue is not one I'm too worried about.  I'm more worried they might do something unpleasant like make it so he can't romance elves.  That would probably break my inquisitor's little heart.  But that seems terribly unlikely!

When I'll romance him (first playthrough will be male dalish with Josie/Cass), I think I'll make a male human mage, or male qunari.

I'm gonna romance him with my first Inquisitor, a Dalish rogue. I chose the Inquisitor first, but he seems like a good fit for Dorian. If Dorian is race gated against elves (please please no) then I'd romance Dorian in my third game, with a human mage.

I think I'm going to romance him with my Qunari rogue. The way I see it that's the best option for Dorian. He can say f*** you to his people because Qunari, but also keep it hush hush if he wants to because rogue.

I'm not sure... My first playthrough will be as a Qunari female who will romance either Josephine or Iron Bull... Or Sera... My second playthrough though, I might play a Dalish mage and romance Dorian. I don't know D; Too many decisions

No matter what anyone says, I am still worried about the lighting bugs changing his skintone to a paler color. He looked extremely pale in the trailer and still lighter than the original picture of him in this new picture. Other than that, he looks extremely handsome :3
