I don't understand why people hate Dorian's mustache. I think its fantastic.

So, Dorian is THE gay option now unless you are inclined to #ridethebull. I am still super glad I have Dorian though, but really shocked that out of 8 romance options there still is only 2 gay options yet again. 
(that is unless they do the unexpected and pull a gay Blackwall out of a hat)

Meh, I'm not sure that would really be all that great for me. I've never been really excited about him as an option. I hope he'll be gay or bi though for everyone else. If he is a bi/gay romance though, I hope there's a way to un-taint him.

I hear you about us possibly getting the least amount of options again, but to be honest, after finding out Dorian is gay AND a love interest, I told myself that he's the only one that matters. He's by far the most attractive (both physically and personality wise, from what we hear anyway) companion/LI in this game, if not possibly one of the best in the franchise.
Super true! That's the reason why I've not gone on a mega rant demanding justice. I already won the mega bucks love interest loto with Dorian. Why roll around in the mud with anyone else? hehehe

But seriously, though, if we're going by the idea that you'll have at least two options for romance regardless of what race or sex you've chosen for your Inquisitor, and if Iron Bull was initially race-gated (most likely against dwarves), that would've left gay male dwarves with just Dorian.
So... it's gotta be Blackwall as a bisexual romance for the last one, ideally.
Whatever happens, Dorian's the only one that matters (with Iron Bull a close second), so...

Something I'm not doing for Solas , I mean I'm not fond of female elves , queens of the noodle arms .I'll force myself to play that if it turn out his romance is great.
And I still don't know who the hell my female mage is going to romance , there's the Bull and Sera on the list.

I'm super bummed about the Solas news. I kind of expected the race gating but was really surprised about female only. This will be the first DA game where I didn't romance a male elf. I'm a little sad about that.
So it's 3 straight, 2 gay, and 2 bi. I assumed the last LI will be bi but I'm not going to assume anything anymore. I thought 2 straight, 4 bi, and 2 gay would be the best situation. Everyone get's 3 choices that way. But I guess Bioware thought differently..
I was hoping he'd be bi so I could change things up on a second playthrough but I guess I'll just go straight into my FemQuizzy/Sera playthrough. I haven't played a straight PC in a really long time. Not since ME1 (before I discovered the loveliness of FemShepxLiara)! Don't really want to. Oh well. Dorian has always been my #1 pick but Solas was a close second.

But hey, I'm a "quality over quantity" kind of person. Or at least, that's how I try to look at it, given how few LGBTQIA characters we see in fiction. And right now Dorian's looking the most promising, imho. ;P

Yeah, they never said it was going to be even from the very start. Your Inquisitor has at least two options for romance, go nuts. So if Vivienne is going to be a romance option, I'm hoping she's not straight.
I'm trying to look at it that way in light of recent announcements. I mean, sure, I had always had in mind that I'd pay particular close attention to Dorian (and Iron Bull to an extent). If they said Dorian's relationship is a very powerful one, then by God, I'm hoping it'll be one that'll be integral to the plot and won't leave us in a bad spot (tragic ending and all). If I remember correctly, Gaider did say writing Dorian came from a special place. So as a fan who identifies as gay, I'm sure the character's story will resonate with my expectations as well.

And there might be a cause for a fear. They also mentioned that for all his bravado and confidence he's still rather idealistic and certain things still will affect him. When sh*t hit the fan, "the world will react to that in a way that he expected".
Aaand I probably shouldn't think too much into it, or I'll end up forever alone out of fear to face some goddamn Anders scenario again.

I don't think they will repeat themselves and I also think they won't treat him like Anders, one martyr was quite enough.

Well, I'm going to immediately rule out number 2, because that's a trope that's been done to death. Literally!
I'm hoping for number 1, without the race-gate, though.
I'm sitting here on the fence about the last LI.
For one, I want it to be Bisexual Blackwall to stick it to those white, straight male gamers who complain(ed) about not getting their every whim "catered" to. But, that'd leave the homosexual women on the backburner (yet again and I even think more so than us gay men). So, yeah, I'm torn about Vivienne potentially being a romance. Bi Blackwall would also mean Hetero Women get the most romances and I'm downright for that, to be honest.
I'm also hoping for bisexual Varric for all those Varricmancers who got left out in DAII, even though I'm not into Dwarves and don't intend to really roll one. They need the hope, you guys. D:
I just... damn. If only they had the budget and time for an equal amount of romances for everyone ever in Inquisition. Q_Q Just not everyone being Bisexual.

And I will definitely die, but of a somehow paradoxical anomaly if it were all three of them, but especially 2 and 3 and the same time. Bioware would be sadistic, mad scientists if they somehow gave us a super happy ending... where Dorian or the Inquisitor or Dorian AND the Inquisitor both die. How is that possible if I don't get to headcanon their happy lives together afterwards?! D:<
