I'm glad for the VA reveal and all the happiness with the celebrating and such. But can someone tell what Ramon was in? But yeah times like this do make happy to be a part of this community.

So happy about the VA. Now the imaginary banter I try and think up for him and the others has a proper voice to it.

Watching some of his videos was one of the best spent half hour of my time.

In my 21 years of life I have never heard of Ramon Tikaram. But his voice fits my idea of Dorian like a glove so it's all good.

Congrats to whoever it was that suggested correctly the name of the voice actor. Great sleuthing! I really don't know that actor, but I love his voice so it works for me. ![]()

People have mentioned the possibility but I really hope not... I don't want to have to deal with that again.

I don't know. I could just as easily see him using it as not using it. That said, I don't think he'd be bumbling around like Merrill was. If he does use blood magic, I think he'd be very good at it.

Inquisitor: Isn't sleight of hand a bit...pedestrian by Tevinter standards?
Dorian: Well when most of the nobility has actual magic parlor tricks can get a little dangerous.
Inquisitor: You singed your mustache off didn't you?
Dorian: Eyebrows actually.

Since it isn't nearly as heavily stigmatized in Tevinter, and may have been useful in giving him an edge over potential rivals, he may indeed know a good deal of blood magic. This isn't an apprentice we're talking about, after all, and things can get pretty cutthroat in Tevinter if another mage sees you as a threat. At this point, I'm leaning towards it being likely even if I don't want that to be the case. It certainly makes sense within the context of the story...

I doubt he openly uses it if he does because it's restricted from your player and would cause similar problems to the Inquisitor having it. He could know some and maybe he could have used it before, it might be an interesting story line.
But then, I would also be happy to see him as an exception to most of the Tervinter stereotypes.

I thought I recognised him, but had to check imdb before it clicked that I'd seen him in Eastenders, Game of Thrones and Primeval.

Yeah I recognised him from Game of Thrones too! (I don't watch Eastenders or Primeval). But when I saw him in Game of Thrones, I recognised him from something else too - a BBC docudrama called Krakatoa: The Last Days, based on the 1888 eruption of Krakatoa. I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I didn't recognise his voice from the E3 demo and the fact that I've only found out his name from this thread just now lol!

I forgot to mention Krakatoa, I remember him being really good in that. Definitely one of the better docudrama's from the Beeb.

The Indira and Ramon banter.....
I'd love to hear this, but I'm still reeling from the VA reveal mainly because I hadn't expected an announcement, much less in the form of a video. I'm kinda worried that Dorian was made to be this perfect character only to be torturously ripped away from us. He's just too good to be true.

I quite agree with a few others that I hope Dorian is a bit of goof and likes to tease the others with silliness and GAH DORIAN HEADCANONS INCOMING!

He sounds deeper to me in the video than he does while voicing Dorian in the demos. I hope he used this same deep tone more often in game. Sounds good.
